Tag in armed status: When the tag is attached to merchandise and activated, the tag’s LED will flash every 10 seconds to indicate tag
is in armed status.
Anti-Tamper Warning: If the tag is pried from the packaging the tag detects the release of the anti-tamper plunger, it will begin to
beep rapidly as a warning that the tag is about to alarm. If the tag is placed back on the packaging with the anti-tamper plunger
facing down within the 10 beeps, the beep will stop, the tag is again armed and ready to secure the packaging. If the tag has not
been replaced to the packing within the 10 continuous beeps, the tag will alarm.
Anti-Tamper Alarm: When the tag is pried/the bands cut from the merchandise the tag detects the release of the anti-tamper
plunger, the tag will trigger and self-alarm.
Loose Alarm: If the band of the tag has been cut or removed the tag will alarm.
EAS Alarm: When the tag is in the armed mode, and enters into the EAS system’s field the EAS system will trigger the tag to self-
alarm, the EAS system will also alarm.
Wi-Fi Remote Alarm: When the tag alarms, it will send a signal to remote alarm reader. The reader will alarm
synchronously.
Removal of the Tag: The sales associate places the S3 Key detacher on the tag, align the ears of the detacher with the indentations
on the tag, the lock will open and disarm the tag. (This indicates that the tag has been deactivated) The locking lever will
automatically switch to the unlocked position. The sales associate can now safely
remove the tag from the box. The tag is ready
to be reapplied to new packaging.
