KüschallAGguaranteesthattheirwheelchairsarefreefrom
defectsandarefullyfunctional.Thewarrantycoversallfaultsand
defectswhichareverifiablyattributabletofaultyconstruction,
substandardmaterialsorpoorworkmanship.Warrantyclaims
againstthemanufacturermayonlybemadebythedistributor
andnotbytheuseroftheproduct.
Thewarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearandtear,the
consequencesofimproperhandlingordamage,poor
maintenanceandincorrectassemblyorcommissioningbythe
purchaserorathirdpersonorfaultswhichareattributable
tocircumstancesbeyondourcontrol.Wearingpartsarenot
coveredbytheguarantee.Thewarrantyisvoidedifmodifications
aremadetotheproductwhichwerenotauthorisedand
notperformedbythespecialistdealerorifinappropriate

totheseatcover.

canbealtered.Theadjustmentmustbecarriedoutbythe

4.1Posturebelt
Thewheelchaircanbeequippedwithaposturebelt.Itprevents
theuserfromslidingdownwardinthewheelchairorfromfalling
outofthewheelchair.Theposturebeltisnotapositioningdevice.
WARNING!
Riskoseriousinjury/strangulation
Aloosebeltcanallowtheusertoslipdownand
createariskofstrangulation.
–Theposturebeltshouldbemountedbya
qualifiedtechnicianandfittedbytheresponsible
prescriber.
–Alwaysmakesurethattheposturebeltistightly
fittedacrossthelowerpelvis.
–Eachtimetheposturebeltisused,checkifit
fitsproperly.Changingtheseatand/orbackrest
angle,thecushionandevenyourclothes
influencethefitofthebelt.
WARNING!
Riskoseriousinjuryduringtransport
Inavehicle,auserinhiswheelchairmustbe
securedbyasafetybelt(3-pointbelt).Aposture
beltonlyisnotsufficientasapersonalrestraint
device.

transportingthewheelchairuserinavehicle.
Closingandopeningtheposturebelt
Ensurethatyouaresittingfullybackintheseatandthatthepelvis
isasuprightandsymmetricalaspossible.

Adjustingthelength
Theposturebelthasthegoodlength,whenthere’sjust

2.ThreadloopDthroughcatchAandplasticbuckleEuntil
theloopisflat.
Ifthisadjustmentisnotsufficient,itmightberequiredtore-fit

CAUTION!
–Threadthebeltloopthroughbothplastic
bucklestoavoidthebeltfromloosening.
–Dotheadjustmentsonbothsidesequally,sothat
thebuckleclaspremainsinacentralposition.
–Makesurethatthebeltsdonotgetcaughtinthe
spokesofarearwheel.
1.ThreadtheloopFthroughthefixationonthechairGand
thenthroughBOTHplasticbucklesH.
4.2Airpump
Theairpumpisfittedwithauniversalvalveconnection.
1.Removethedustcapfromthevalveconnection.
2.Pushthevalveconnectionontotheopenvalveonthewheel
andpumpthewheelup.
4.3Passiveillumination
Youcanattachreflectorstotherearwheels.
