Chapter 1 : PCI Hybrid TV Card Hardware Installation
1.1 Package Contents
Unpack your PCI Hybrid TV Card package and make sure that all items are intact. The following items
should be included in your package:

zMulti-Cable
1.2 System Requirements
zIntel Pentium-IV 2.0 GHz or equivalent AMD CPU or higher
z512 MB RAM of system memory or above
zPCI 2.2 Compliant Slot
zGraphics Card with 64 MB memory or above (Must support DirectX 9.0c)
zSound Card (AC97 compatible sound card)
z2GB Free HD Space for recording
zCD-ROM Drive (For software installation)
zMicrosoft Windows ® XP SP2 / XP MCE/ Window Vista
1.3 Media Center setting
Installation for usage with Windows XP MCE
If you have a PC equipped with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) and want to watch
and record TV using the Microsoft MediaCenter application, please follow the installation steps below.
1. Make sure you have installed the latest Windows updates.
2. Make sure a MCE certified DVD player software is installed on your PC.
3. Run the MCE Encoder installer on installation CD and follow the steps of the installation wizard.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Opening the Microsoft Windows MediaCenter application and follow its setting instructions.
6. After that, you can enjoy live TV with Windows MediaCenter !
1.4 Hardware Installation
Please follow the steps shown below for installation of your TV card and follow the pictorial guide below
for peripheral connections.
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Select a PCI slot and remove the slot cover, screw, etc.
3. Place PCI Hybrid TV Card firmly into the slot and secure the card.
4. Close the computer's case and turn on the power.
