Chapter 1: DVB-T 210 TV Card Hardware Installation
1.1 Package Contents
Unpack your DVB-T 210 package and make sure that all items are included. The following items should be
included in your package:
DVB-T 210 PCI TV Card
Multi-cable for AV/S-Video and Audio-Out
Remote control and sensor
DVB-T antenna
FM Antenna
HyperMedia user manual
Installation manual
Installation CD
1.2 System Requirements
PC with Pentium-IV 1.6GHz or above
256MB RAM of system memory or above
PCI 2.2 compliant slot
Graphics card (Must support DirectX 9.0)
Sound card (AC97 compatible sound card)
1GB free HD space
CD-ROM drive (For software installation)
Microsoft Windows® XP
1.3 Hardware Installation
Please follow the steps shown below to install the card into your computer:
1. Turn off all your computer
power and any peripherals.
2. Select an available PCI slot
and remove the slot cover,
screw, etc.
3. Push the PCI TV card
firmly into the slot until it
snaps in place and secure
the card by the screw you
removed from step 2.
4. Place the case lid back on
and power on.

Chapter 2 : DVB-T 210 Utilities And Drivers Setup
DVB-T 210 package comes with complete Windows software utilities. These utilities and drivers can be
found on the CD included in the package. During installation, it is highly recommended to disable any
sub-programs. These include applications such as antivirus software and system monitoring applications.
1. Once you finish the hardware installation, restart your
system. “Windows Found New Hardware Wizard” will
pop up. Please click “Cancel” and run the utilities setup
included in the CD.
2. Insert the installation CD into the CD ROM drive. The
auto run page will appear as the one on the left, please
select “Driver Install”.
3. The driver utilities will help you to install all the drivers.
Click “Next” to continue.
4. Then the utilities will help you install the TV card
driver automatically. Click “Next” to install the DVB-T
210 drivers.

5. Click “Start” to start installing DVB-T 210
drivers. Please wait while installation is in
process.
6. Choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” and
click “Finish” to restart your computer and activate the
driver.
Note: You can restart your computer after installing
HyperMedia software application

Chapter 3 : HyperMedia Software Installation
After the drivers are installed, the next step you need to do is to install “HyperMedia”. Please follow the
steps below to install it.
1. Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. The
auto run page appears as the one on the left. Click on
“HyperMedia” to start installation.
2. The InstallShield Wizard will guide you through
installation the HyperMedia application. Click “Next” to
continue.
3. Please choose the destination folder where you want to
install the files. You can click “Browse” to change the
destination folder.
4. Setup will add program icons to the Program Folder’s list.
You may type a new folder name, or select one from the
existing folders list. Click “Next” to start installing. Please
wait while installation is in process.

5. When the message as the one on the left pops up, click
“Finish” to end the installation.

Chapter 4 : HyperMedia Software Functions
When using HyperMedia, There are five different functions to choose from. Picture below is an example of
how the interface looks like and a short description of each function.

Note: For more detailed descriptions, please refer to HyperMedia user manual. Note that
this product could only watch either analog or digital TV rather than both at the same
time

Chapter 5 : Remote Control Key Definition
Open digital TV panel while watching analog TV
and vice versa
Preview channels in blocks of 9 or 16
Take snapshots for images that wanted to be taken
Shut down PC
Mute
Switch between Stereo and Mono sound
Switch between different AV input.
Eg. S-Video, Composite, Antenna, etc

versa while both digital and analog TV are opened.

Chapter 6 : FAQ
1. How to check to see if DVB-T 210 Utilities have been installed?
Ans : To check the DVB-T 210 Utilities, follow the pictorial guide below and see if your “Start” menu have
the same file directories like the one below.

2. How to check if the drivers have been installed successfully or not?
Ans: Right click on “My Computer” on the desktop and choose “Properties”. Once in “Properties”
window, click on “Device Manager” in Hardware panel. Click on the plus icon of “Sound, video and
game controllers” to open the device list.
