Thank you for choosing the LANAFORM Stim Mass
electrostimulationsystem. Equipped with two stim-
ulation channels and 4 adhesiveelectrodes, the Stim
Mass oers various massage modes enabling gen-
eral well-being to be improved, keeping yourself
in top-form, relaxing you, energising your muscles
and combating tiredness by means of a sensations
program and eectiveness very close to that of a
real massage.
Theoperatingprincipleofelectrostimulationdevices
is based on imitating the body impulses sent by
the skin to the nerve and muscle bres by means of
electrodes. These are positioned at various places
on the body for a total massage. Their electric stim-
uli are harmless and painless. The eectiveness of
electro stimulation can be seen after just a fewuses
and enables relaxing and massaging the muscles
after any physical activity and reducing the eect
of muscle fatigue.

FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY RULES
Use of the device cannot replace a consultation or
medical treatment. Therefore, always consult your
doctor beforehand in case of pain or illness!
To avoid harming your health, before using
the Stim Mass, it is essential to ask for a
medical opinion in the following cases:
•
Incase of electrical device implants (forexample
a pacemaker)
• With metal implants
• People who wear an insulin pump
• In case of high fever (for example > 39°C)
•
In case of known or acute cardiac arrhythmia
and in case of other heart excitation and perfor-
mance problems
• In case of seizures (for example epilepsy)
• In case of conrmed pregnancy
• In case of cancer
•
Aftersurgicaloperations,where increasedmuscle
contraction could prevent healing
• Use of the device close to the heart is prohibited.
The electrodes must not be placed on the chest
cavity (delimited by the ribs and sternum), in
particular on the two pectoralis major muscles.

• On the bony part of the skull, in the mouth area,
in the pharynx or larynx area
• On the neck / carotid
• In the genital area
•

Before using the device, consult your general
practitioner in the following cases:
•
Acute conditions, in particular in case of suspi-
cion or presence of high blood pressure, blood
coagulation problems, tendency to thromboses
or embolisms and in case of malignant tumours
• All skin diseases
•
Chronic unexplained pain, on any part of the
body whatever
• Diabetes
• All sensitivity problems with reduced pain sensi-
tivity (for example metabolic disorders)
• During other medical treatments
• Pain associated with stimulation treatment
•
Permanentirritationof theskinduetoprolonged
stimulation using an electrode placed in the
same place.

COMMENTS CONCERNING THE BATTERIES
• If battery uid comes into contact with the skin
or eyes, rinse the aected area with water and
consult a doctor.
Accidental swallowing: young children could
swallow the batteries and choke. Please keep
the batteries out of reach of young children!
• Comply with plus (+) and (-) polarity symbols.
•
Ifthe battery hasleaked,put on protectivegloves
andcleanthebatterycompartment with adrycloth.
• Protect the batteries from excessive heat.
Risk of explosion: do not throw
the batteries in the re.
•
The batteries must not be recharged or short-
circuited,
•
If the device is not going to be used for an ex-
tended period, remove the batteries from the
battery compartment.
• Only use identical or equivalent batteries.
• Always replace all the batteries together.
• Do not use an accumulator!
• Do not dismantle, open or break the batteries.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
Toavoidhurtingthemostsensitiveskin(extremely
rare case), always gently pull on the electrodes
to remove them.
• Keep the device away from heat sources and do
not useitclose to(-1m)shortwaveor micro-wave
devices (for example mobile telephones) as this
could cause unpleasant current spikes.
•
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or
high temperatures.
•
Protect thedevicefromdust, dirtandhumidity.Do
notimmerse the device inwaterorotherliquids.
• The device is intended for personal use.
•
For hygiene reasons,the electrodes must be used
by one person only.
•
If the deviceisnot working, in caseof discomfort
or pain, immediately stop using it.
•
To remove or move the electrodes, rst of all
unplug the device or corresponding channel in
order to avoid unintentional stimuli.
•
Donot alterthe electrodes (for examplebycutting
them). This would increase the current density,
which may be dangerous.
• Do not use the device while sleeping, driving or
while using machines at the same time.
•
Donot usethedeviceduringalloperationsduring
which an unforeseen reaction (for example in-
creased muscle contraction in spite of a low in-
tensity) may prove dangerous.
•
Ensure that no metal object such belt buckles
or necklaces can come into contact with the
electrodesduringstimulation.If youarewearing
jewelleryorpiercings (forexample inthenavel)in
the application area, remove them before using
the device as they could cause localised burns.
• To avoid any possible risk, keep the device out of
reach of children.
•
Do not mix up theelectric cords tted with plugs
with those of your headset or other devices and
never plug the electrodes into other devices.
• Do not use this device at the same time as other
devices sending electric impulses intoyour body.
• Do not usethe device closetoeasilyinammable
materials, gas or explosives.
•
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Only use
batteries of the same type.
•
During therst fewminutes, usethe device while
sitting or lying down so there is no risk of hurting
yourselfunnecessarilyduetofeelingfaint(feeling
of weakness), which rarely happens. If you feel

weak, stop using the device immediately and
raise your legs up (for 5 to 10 minutes).
•
Itisbest nottocoat yourskinwithgreasy creams
or ointments before a treatment as this signi-
cantly increases wear on the electrodes or may
cause unpleasant current spikes.
DAMAGE
• If the device is damaged, if in doubt, do not use
it and contact your dealer or the address given
for after sales service.
•
Check the device for signs or wear or damage.
If the device shows such signs or if it has been
misused, it must be sent to the manufacturer or
takenback to the dealer before being used again.
• Switchothe device immediately if it is faultyor
not working properly.
• In no event try to open and/or repair the device
yourself! Repairs must only be carried out by the
aftersalesserviceorapproveddealers.Failureto
complywith thisinstructionwillvoidtheguarantee.
• Themanufacturerisnotresponsiblefor damage
caused by incorrect or improper use.
INFORMATION ON ELECTROSTATIC

USE
PREPARATION BEFORE USE
•
The StimMassoperateswith2AAA1.5Vbatteries
(notsupplied).Before using yourdevice,check that
these arecorrectlyinsertedinthecompartment
provided. ( 1 10)
•
Beforeturning on yourdevice,connect the power
cord ( 1 8) to the electrodes ( 1 7).
•
Place the electrodes so that they surround the
muscle segmentsconcerned.Foroptimumeec-
tiveness,thedistancebetweenthe electrodesmust
not be morethan about 15cm.Theelectrodesmust
not be used on theanterior chest wall. This means
that the device should not be used to massage
the left/right pectoralis major muscle.
•
The Stim Mass is equipped with 2 stimulation
channelsandfourelectrodes which enablework-
ing on two areas of the body at the same time.

When using the Stim Mass and when you apply the
electrodes, the use of two electrodes per muscle
group is recommended.
•
To obtain the stimulation’s desired eect, it is
important to place the electrodes carefully. We
advise you to decide on the optimum positions
for the electrodes in thedesiredapplicationarea
with your doctor.
• The positions of the electrodes suggestedabove
are given for reference.
•
The following comments are applicable when
choosing the electrodes’ positions:
DISTANCE BETWEEN ELECTRODES
•
The greater the distance chosen between the
electrodes, the greaterthe volume of stimulated

tissue.This appliestothesurfaceanddepthoftissue
volume.Likewise,thegreaterthedistancebetween
the electrodes, the more the tissue stimulation
strength decreases. This means that if you opt
for a wide distance between the electrodes, the
volume will be greater but the stimulation will
be less powerful. To increase stimulation, you
willhavetoincrease theintensity oftheimpulses.
• Thefollowingguideline appliesforchoosingthe
distance between the electrodes:
·
Themostappropriatedistance:approx.5to15cm
· Below5cm,the primarysurface structuresare
strongly stimulated.
·
Above 15cm,thedeepstructuresandextending
onto wider surfaces areveryweakly stimulated.
It is not advisable to use two electrodes
on opposite sides of the body (example:
rst cable’s electrode on the left arm and
second cable’s electrode on the right arm).
For optimum and safe use, it is advisable
to spread out and connect the electrodes
as shown in the diagram 2, 3.
Never apply the electrodes on the head
Never move the electrodes when the device is
operating. Switch o the device then remove
the electrodes only to place them somewhere
else. If not, you may feel an impact.
OPERATION
• Once the electrodes are positioned on the area
you wanttomassageandrelax (see 2), connect
the power supply cable ( 1 8) to the main
unit ( 1 2)and turn on yourdevice usingthe
ON/OFF switch ( 1 1).
•
The device is working and programmed by default
on the “Suction” massage mode for 15 minutes
at intensity 0. ( 1 11, 13, 14)
•
Tochangemode,pressthe modeselection button
several times( and 1 13)until youreach
the desired massage mode.
•
To increase the intensity, use the and
buttons to adjust it ( 1 14)
• Lastly to set the massage time, press the timer
button ( and 1 11) and choose a time
between 5 and 15 minutes.
COMMENTS
•
You canstop the sessionatanytime by switching
the device o. You can also change the massage
mode by pressing the massage mode selection
button again.
•
When you rst you use it, we recommend you
start with a low intensityand thenprogressively
increase it. Once you are accustomed to stimu-
lation, you can use more powerful stimulation
intensities, always at the limit you can tolerate
and without harming yourself,soas to stimulate
as many bres as possible.
•
The length of use for one position is normally
15 minutes per session, once or twice a day. You
can also extend or shorten the operating time
depending on your requirements. The device
will stop automatically when the time set has
run out. If you want to continue the treatment,
switch the device o for a few seconds, then
switch it on again.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
SELF-ADHESIVE ELECTRODES
•
So the electrodes keep their adherence for as
long as possible, carefully clean them with a lint
free damp cloth.
•
Re-stick the electrodes onto the plastic holder
(1 6) and wind the cable round the groove
on the holder.
CLEANING THE DEVICE
• Before any cleaning, remove the batteries from
the device,
•
After each use, clean the device with a slightly
damp soft cloth. If it is very dirty, you can use a
cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
•
Ensure thatwater does notget into the device.If
this should occur, do not re-use the device until
it is totally dry.
•
For cleaning, do not use chemical or abrasive
cleaning products.
STORAGE
• If you do not think you will use it for some time,
remove the batteries from the device Leaking
batteries can damage the device.

• Do not fold the connection cords or electrodes
too much.
• Unplug the electrodes’ connection cords.
•
After use, stick the electrodes on the holder’s
lm again.
• Store the device in a well ventilated place, away
from heat.
• Do not put heavy objects on the device.

ADVICE REGARDING
THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE
All the packaging is composed of materials thatpose
no hazard for the environment and which can be
disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used
as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be
disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging
lm must be taken to your local sorting and recy-
cling centre.
When you have nished using the device, please
disposeofit in an environmentally friendly way and
in accordance with the law.
LIMITED WARRANTY
LANAFORM guarantees this product against any
material or manufacturing defect for a period of
two years from the date of purchase, except in the
circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage
causedas a result of normal wear tothis product.In
addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM
product does not cover damage caused by abusive
or inappropriateor incorrect use,accidents, the use
of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the
product oranyothercircumstance, of whateversort,
that is outside LANAFORM’s control.
LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of
circumstantial, indirect or specic damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of
the productare limitedtoaperiod of two yearsfrom
the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the
proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your
appliance at its discretion and will return it to you.
The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM’s
Service Centre. Any attempt tomaintainthis product
by a person other than LANAFORM’s Service Centre

Le principe de fonctionnement des appareils
d’électrostimulation est fondé sur l’imitation des

REMARQUES RELATIVES AUX PILES
•
Siduliquide delacellulede pileentreen contact
avec la peau ou les yeux, rincez la zone touchée
avec de l’eau et consultez un médecin.
Risque d’ingestion : les enfants en bas âge
pourraient avaler des piles et s’étouer.
Veuillez donc conserver les piles hors
de portée des enfants en bas âge !

Lesremarquessuivantes s’appliquentlorsduchoix
de l’emplacement des électrodes :
DISTANCE ENTRE LES ÉLECTRODES
• Plus la distance choisie entre les électrodes est
grande, pluslevolumedetissustimulésera grand.
Cela s’applique à la surface et à la profondeur
du volume de tissu. De même, plus la distance
entre les électrodes est grande, plus la force de
stimulation des tissus diminue.Celasignie que
sivous optez pour unedistance importanteentre
les électrodes, le volume seraplus grand mais la
stimulationseramoinsimportante.Pouraugmen-
ter la stimulation, vous devrez alors augmenter
l’intensité des impulsions.
• La directive suivante s’applique pour le choix de
la distance entre les élec-trodes :
· Distance la plus judicieuse : env. 5 à 15 cm
·
Au-dessous de 5cm, les structuressupercielles
primaires sont fortement stimulées.
·
Au-dessus de15cm,les structuresprofondes et
s’étendant sur des sur-faces importantes sont
très faiblement stimulées.
Nous déconseillons l’utilisation des deux
électrodes de part et d’autre de la ligne
médiane du corps (exemple : l’électrode
du premier câble sur le bras gauche et
l’électrode du second câble sur le bras
droit). Pour une utilisation optimale et
sans danger, nous vous conseillons de
repartir et de connecter les électrodes
comme indique sur le schéma 2, 3.
Ne jamais appliquer les électrodes au niveau
de la tête. Ne jamais déplacer les électrodes
lorsque l’appareil fonctionne. Eteignez
l’appareil puis enlevez seulement les
électrodes pour les placer à un autre endroit.
A défaut, un impact pourrait être ressenti.
FONCTIONNEMENT
•
Unefoisles électrodesplacéessurlazone que vous
souhaitez masser et détendre ( 2), connectez
les câbles d’alimentation à l’unité principale
(1 8) et allumez votre appareil a l’aide du
bouton On/OFF ( 1 1).
•
L’appareil est en fonction et programmé par
défaut sur le mode de massage « Aspiration »
pour une durée de 15 minutes à intensité 0.

•
Pour changer de mode, appuyez plusieurs fois
sur le bouton de choix du mode ( et 1
13) jusqu’au mode de massage désiré.
• Pour augmenter l’intensité, utilisez les boutons
et an de l’ajuster ( 1 14)
• Enn pour régler la durée du massage, appuyez
sur le bouton timer ( et 1 11)etchoisissez
une durée comprise entre 5 et 15 minutes.
REMARQUES

La durée d’utilisation pour une position est gé-
néralement de 15 minutes par séance, une à
deux fois par jour. Il est également possible de
prolongerou deraccourcirlapériodeen fonction
des besoins de l’utilisateur. L’appareil s’arrêtera
automatiquement lorsque la durée réglée sera
écoulée.Sivous souhaitez poursuivreletraitement,
éteignez l’appareil pendant quelques secondes,
puis rallumez-le.
ENTRETIEN ET RANGEMENT
ELECTRODES AUTO-ADHÉSIVES

Pourquelesélectrodesconserventleuradhérence
leplus longtempspossible,nettoyez-lessoigneu-
sement avec un chion non pelucheux humide.

Recollezles électrodes sur le supportenplastique
(1 6) et enroulez les câbles sur la rainure

NETTOYAGE DE L’APPAREIL

Avant toutnettoyage,retirezles piles de l’appareil.
• Après chaque utilisation,nettoyez l’appareilavec
un chion doux légèrement humide. S‘il est très
sale, vous pouvez utiliser un chion humecté
d‘une lessive de savon légère.

Veillez àcequel‘eaunepénètrepasdans l‘appareil.
Si cela se produisait, ne réutilisez pas l‘appareil
avant qu’il soit entièrement sec.

CONSERVATION

verpakking zijn zo accuraat mogelijk. De
kans bestaat echter dat de gelijkenis
met het product niet perfect is.
Wij danken u dat u voor het elektrostimulatiesys-
teem Stim Mass van LANAFORM gekozen hebt. De
Stim Mass is uitgerust met twee stimulatiekanalen
en 4 zelfklevende elektroden. Het systeem biedt
verschillendemassagevormenaandiehetalgemene
welzijn kunnen verbeteren en ervoor zorgendat u in
goede conditie blijft, en waarmee u zich kunt ont-
spannen, uw spieren kunt revitaliseren en tekenen
van vermoeidheid kunt bestrijden met behulp van
een programmadat hetgevoelen de eciëntievan
een echte massage benadert.
Het werkingsprincipe van toestellen voor elektro-
stimulatie is gebaseerd op de nabootsing van de
lichamelijke impulsen die de huid viadeelektroden
overbrengt op de zenuwbanen en het spierweefsel.
Deze elektroden worden op verschillende plaatsen
op het lichaam geplaatst voor een volledige mas-
sage. Hun elektrische prikkels zijn onschadelijk en

• Bij gekende of acute hartritmestoornissen en
bij andere storingen als gevolg van spanning en
slechte werking van het hart
• Bij aanvallen (bijvoorbeeld epilepsie)

Nachirurgischeingrepen,alsdespiersamentrek -

• Het is verboden om het toestel vlak bij het hart
te gebruiken. De elektroden mogen niet op
de borstkas (begrensd door de ribben en het
borstbeen), en met name op de twee grote
borstspieren, geplaatst worden. Het risico op
ventriculaire brillatie is groter en dit kan een
hartstilstand veroorzaken.
• Op het benige deel van de schedel, in de buurt
van de mond, de keelholte of het strottenhoofd.
• Ter hoogte van de hals / de halsslagader
• In de buurt van de geslachtsdelen
• Op een huid met een acute of chronische ziekte
(gekwetst ofgeïrriteerd)(bijvoorbeeldbijpijnlijke
en pijnloze irritatie, roodheid, huiduitslag (bij-
voorbeeldallergieën),brandwonden,kneuzingen,
zwellingen openwondendieaanhetgenezenzijn,
op littekens die aan het genezen zijn)

dezelfde plaats aangebracht wordt.
OPGELET!
Gebruik de Stim Mass alleen:
• Op mensen.
• Met het doel waarvoor het systeem ontworpen
werd en op de manier die in de gebruiksaanwij-
zing aangegeven wordt. Elk onjuist gebruik kan
gevaarlijk zijn.
• Geschikt voor uitwendig gebruik.
• Met de meegeleverde originele accessoires, die
ook alsoptiebesteldkunnenworden (wanneer u
andereaccessoiresgebruikt, vervaltde garantie).
OPMERKINGEN MET BETREKKING
TOT DE BATTERIJEN
•
Alsvloeistofvan eenbatterijcelincontactkomtmet
de huid of de ogen, moet u het getroen gebied
met water spoelen en een dokter raadplegen.
Inslikgevaar: kleine kinderen zouden
batterijen kunnen inslikken en
stikken. Houd de batterijen dus uit
het bereik van kleine kinderen!
•
Houd rekening met de polariteitstekens, plus
(+) en min (-).
•
Is de batterij uitgelopen? Trek beschermende
handschoenen aan en maak het batterijcompar-
timent schoon met een droge doek.
• Bescherm de batterijen tegen extreme hitte.
Ontplongsgevaar: gooi de
batterijen niet in het vuur.
•
De batterijen mogen niet opnieuwopgeladen of
kortgesloten worden.
• Verwijder de batterijen uit het batterijcomparti-
ment als u hettoestellange tijdnietzult gebruiken.

Omtevoorkomendatudegevoeligehuid verwondt
(komt zeer zelden voor), moet u altijd zachtjes
aan de elektroden trekken om ze te verwijderen.
•
Houdhet toestel uit de buurt van warmtebronnen
en gebruik het niet in de nabijheid (minder dan
1 meter) van kortegolf- of microgolftoestellen
(bijvoorbeeld mobiele telefoons), want dat zou
onaangenamestroompiekenkunnenveroorzaken.
• Stel het toestel niet bloot aan rechtstreekse
zonnestralen of aan hoge temperaturen.
•
Bescherm het toestel tegen stof, vuil en vocht.
Dompel hettoestelnooitonderinwaterofandere
vloeistoen.
• Het toestel is bestemd voor persoonlijk gebruik.
•
Omwille van de hygiëne mogen de elektroden
maar door 1 enkele persoon gebruikt worden.
• Als het toestel niet werkt, als u zich onwel voelt
of als u pijn hebt, moet u onmiddellijk stoppen
met het te gebruiken.

Schakel hettoestelofhet desbetreende kanaal uit
voordatu deelektroden verwijdert ofverplaatst.
Zo voorkomt u ongewilde prikkels.

en dat kan gevaarlijk zijn.
• Gebruik het toestel niet terwijl u slaapt, tijdens
het autorijden of wanneer u gelijktijdig andere
machines gebruikt.

Gebruik geen herlaadbare batterijen. Gebruik
uitsluitend batterijen van hetzelfde type.
•
Tijdens de eerste minuten moet u het toestel
gebruiken terwijl u zit of ligt. Zo vermijdt u het
risico dat u zichonnodigverwondt als gevolg van
een vasovagaleaanval(gevoelvan auwte),wat
maar zelden voorkomt. Als uzichzwakvoelt, moet
uonmiddellijk het toestel uitzettenenuwbenen
omhoog leggen (5 à 10 minuten).
• Het wordt afgeraden om uw huid voor een voor-
afgaande behandeling in te smeren met vette
crèmes of zales, want dat verhoogt de slijtage
vandeelektrodenaanzienlijkenkanonaangename
stroompieken veroorzaken.
SCHADE
•
Als het toestel beschadigd is, mag u het bij de
minste twijfel niet meer gebruiken en dient u
zich tot uw handelaar of het vermelde adres van
de dienst na verkoop te richten.
•
Controleer het toestel om tekenen van slijtage
of schadeop te sporen. Als het toestel dergelijke
tekenenvertoont of als hetop een niet-conforme
manier gebruikt werd, moet het teruggestuurd
wordennaar de fabrikantofteruggebrachtworden
naar de handelaarvoordat uhet opnieuwgebruikt.
• Schakel hettoestelonmiddellijk uitalshet defect
is of als het niet goed werkt.
• Probeer in geen geval zelf het toestel te openen

GEBRUIK
VOORBEREIDING VOOR GEBRUIK
•
De Stim Mass werkt met 2 AAA-batterijen van
1,5 V (niet meegeleverd). Voordat u uw toestel
gebruikt, dient u te controleren of de batterijen
juist geplaatst zijn in het daarvoor voorziene
compartiment ( 1 10).
•
Voordat u uw toestel inschakelt, dient u het
netsnoer ( 1 8) te verbinden met de elek-
troden ( 1 7).
•
Breng de elektroden zo aan dat ze de te be-
handelen spiersegmenten omringen. Voor een
optimaledoeltreendheidmagdeafstandtussen
deelektroden niet meer dan ongeveer 15cmzijn.
Deelektroden mogenniet gebruikt worden op de
voorstewandvandeborstholte(thoraxwand).Dat
betekent dat u hettoestelniet mag gebruiken om
de grote linkse/rechtse borstspier te masseren.
•
De Stim Mass is uitgerust met twee stimulatie-
kanalen en vier elektroden, zodatutegelijkertijd
twee gebieden van hetlichaam kuntbehandelen.
PLAATSINGSSCHEMA VAN DE
ELEKTRODEN, 2, 3
Bij het gebruik van de Stim Mass en wanneer u de
elektroden aanbrengt, is het aan te raden om twee
elektroden per spiergroep te gebruiken.
• Als u het gewenste eect van de stimulatie wilt
verkrijgen, is het belangrijk dat u de elektroden
op een verstandige manier plaatst. Wij raden u
aan om de optimale posities van de elektroden
in het gewenste toepassingsgebied te bepalen
in overleg met uw arts.
• De hierboven voorgestelde plaatsen van de elek-
troden zijn ter informatie aangegeven.
•
De volgende opmerkingen zijn van toepassing
bij de keuze van de plaats van de elektroden:
AFSTAND TUSSEN DE ELEKTRODEN
•
Hoegroterdegekozenafstandtussendeelektroden
is, hoe groter het volume gestimuleerd weefsel
zal zijn. Dat geldt zowel voor de oppervlakte als
in de diepte van het weefselvolume. Hoe groter
deafstandtussen de elektroden, hoe kleiner het
stimulatievermogen. Datbetekent dat,als ukiest
voor een groteafstandtussen de elektroden, het
volume groter maar de stimulatie minder sterk
zal zijn. Om de stimulatie te doen toenemen,
moetudusdeintensiteit van de impuls verhogen.
• De volgende richtlijn is van toepassing voor de
keuze van de afstand tussen de elektroden:
· Meest zinvolle afstand: ongeveer 5 tot 15 cm
·

Boven de 15 cm worden de diepe structuren
over een grote oppervlakte zeer zwak gesti-
muleerd.
Wij raden het gebruik van twee elektroden
aan weerszijden van de middellijn van het
lichaam (bv. de elektrode van de eerste
kabel op de linkerarm en de elektrode van
de tweede kabel op de rechterarm) af. Voor
een optimaal en veilig gebruik raden wij
u aan om de elektroden te verdelen en
aan te sluiten zoals in het onderstaande
schema ( 2, 3) wordt aangegeven.
Breng de elektroden nooit op het hoofd aan.
Verplaats nooit de elektroden wanneer het
toestel in werking is. Schakel het toestel
uit, en verwijder dan pas de elektroden
om ze op een andere plaats te bevestigen.
Anders zou u een schok kunnen voelen.
WERKING
•
Nadat u de elektrodes op dezone geplaatst hebt
dieuwiltmasserenen ontspannen( 2),verbindt
udestroomkabelsmet decentraleeenheid ( 1
8)en schakelt u het toestel in met behulp van
de AAN/UIT-knop ( 1 1).
• Het toestel is in werking en is standaard gepro-
grammeerd op de massagevorm ‘Zuigen’ voor
een duur van 15 minuten op intensiteit 0. ( 1
11, 13, 14)
•
Omvan vormteveranderen,druktumeermaalsop
de keuzeknop voor de massagevorm ( en 1
13) tot u de gewenste massagevorm hebt.
• Gebruik de knoppen en om de intensiteit
aan te passen ( 1 14)
• Om tot slot de duur van de massage in te stellen,
druktuop de timerknop( en 1 11)en kiest
u een duur tussen de 5 en 15 minuten.
OPMERKINGEN
• U kunt op eender welk moment de behandeling
beëindigen doorhet toestel uit te schakelen.Ukunt
ookdemassagevormveranderendooropnieuwop
de keuzeknop voor de massagevorm te drukken.
•
Wij raden uaanom bij heteerstegebruiktebegin-
nen meteen zwakkeintensiteitendeze geleidelijk
aanteverhogen.Zodrauaandestimulatiegewend
bent, kunt u een hogere stimulatie-intensiteit
gebruiken, maar altijd op de grens van wat u
kunt verdragen en zonder uzelf te verwonden,
om zo veel mogelijk zenuwbanen te stimuleren.
• De gebruiksduur voor een positie is meestal 15
minuten per sessie, een tot twee keer per dag.
Het is ook mogelijk om de tijd te verlengen of
te verkorten in functie van de behoeften van de
gebruiker.Hettoestelstoptautomatischwanneer
de ingestelde tijd verstreken is. Als u de behan-
deling wilt voortzetten, schakel dan het toestel
enkele seconden uit en daarna weer in.
ONDERHOUD EN OPBERGING
ZELFKLEVENDE ELEKTRODEN
•
Opdat de elektroden zo lang mogelijk zouden
blijven kleven, moet u ze zorgvuldig reinigen
met een pluisvrije vochtige doek.
•
Kleef de elektrodenopnieuw op de plastic houder
(1 6) en rol de kabels op in de groef van
de houder.
REINIGING VAN HET TOESTEL
•
Haal voorelkereinigingdebatterijenuithet toestel.
• Reinig het toestel na elk gebruik met eenzachte,
enigszins vochtige doek. Als het erg vuil is, kunt u
een doek gebruiken die vochtig gemaakt is met
een zacht wasmiddel.
• Let erop dat het water niet in het toestel binnen-
dringt. Als dat gebeurt, mag u het toestel niet
opnieuwgebruikenvoordathetvolledigdroogis.
• Gebruik voor de reiniging geen chemisch reini-
gingsmiddel of schuurmiddel.
BEWARING
•
Haal de batterijen uithet toestel als u heteen tijd
niet meer zult gebruiken. Uitgelopen batterijen
kunnen het toestel beschadigen.
•
Plooi de aansluitingssnoeren en de elektroden
niet te veel.
• Trek de aansluitingssnoeren uit de elektroden.
•
Kleef deelektrodennagebruik opnieuwophunlm.
• Berg hettoestel op in een goed verluchte, tegen
de hitte beschermde ruimte.
• Leg geen zware voorwerpen op het toestel.

Storingen Controle Oplossingen
Een van de
elektroden lijkt
sterker te zijn
dan een andere.
Dat is heel
normaal. Het
lichaam reageert
anders in functie
van de behandelde
gebieden.
Zorg ervoor dat de
elektroden goed
geplaatst zijn
en dat ze elkaar
niet overlappen.
Tijdens de
massage hebt
u een branderig
gevoel, of de
stimulatie wordt
te zwak.
De gel van de ele-
ktroden kleeft niet
meer voldoende
aan de huid.
Breng enkele
druppels water
aan op de patch.
Als het probleem
blijft aanhouden,
moet u de elektro-
den vervangen.
Het toestel start
niet meer op.
De batterij is
bijna leeg.
Laad uw toestel
opnieuw op.
De huid van het
behandelde
deel wordt rood,
veroorzaakt jeuk
of tintelingen.
Controleer of
uw huid niet
allergisch is aan de
zelfklevende patch.
Controleer en
raadpleeg de
voorgeschiedenis
van allergieën van
uw huid. Als het
een matige aller-
gie is, volstaat het
om de plaats van
de zelfklevende
patch te verander-
en of de duur van
de behandeling te
verkorten. Als het
een hevige allergie
is, moet u stoppen
met het toestel te
gebruiken en uw
arts raadplegen.
Zelfs nadat ik
de intensiteit
verhoogd heb, is
de stimulatie nog
altijd te zwak
of de gebruiker
voelt niets.
Is de huid te vuil? Gebruik het
toestel opnieuw
nadat u de huid
gereinigd hebt
met een vochtige
handdoek.
Is de positie van de
elektroden juist?
Pas de positie aan.
ADVIES OVER
AFVALVERWIJDERING
De verpakking is volledig samengesteld uit mili-
euvriendelijke materialen die afgeleverd kunnen
worden in het sorteercentrum van uw gemeente
om gebruikt te worden als secundaire materialen.
Het karton mag in een inzamelingscontainer voor
papier geplaatst worden. De verpakkingsfolie kan
ingeleverd worden bij het sorteeren recyclagecen -
trum van uw gemeente.
Wanneer u het toestel niet langer gebruikt, dient u
dit op milieuvriendelijke wijze en overeenkomstig
de wettelijke richtlijnen te verwijderen.
BEPERKTE GARANTIE
LANAFORMgarandeert dat dit product geen onder-
delen met gebreken en fabricagefouten bevat voor
een periode van twee jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum,
met uitzondering van de onderstaande gevallen.
LANAFORMdekt geen schade veroorzaakt door een
normale slijtage van dit product.
Deze garantie op een product van LANAFORM dekt
geenschade, veroorzaakt door eenslecht of verkeerd
gebruikvan hettoestel,een ongeluk, hetbevestigen
van niet-toegestane toebehoren,het aanpassenvan
het product of om het even welke andere omstan-
digheid, vanwelke aardook,waar LANAFORMgeen
controle over heeft.
LANAFORM kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld
voor gevolgschade, niet-rechtstreekse schade of
specieke schade van welke aard ook.
Alle garanties dieimpliciet te makenhebben metde
geschiktheid van het product zijn beperkt tot een
periodevan twee jaar,te rekenen vanaf de oorspron-
kelijke aankoopdatum in zovereen aankoopsbewijs
voorgelegd kan worden.
Na ontvangst zal LANAFORM het toestel herstellen
of vervangen, naargelang het geval, en zal het u
nadien ook terugsturen. De garantie wordt enkel
uitgeoefend viahet LANAFORM Service Center.Elke
