This unit should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not use this device near water.
2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.
3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5

8. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
9. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and
restart the device following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please handle
with care and operate in a static-free environment.
10. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High
voltage flows through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or
short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
11. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near swimming
pools.
12. Do not use this device when condensation may occur.
13. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times
before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all electrical
appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other unexpected
phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.
14. This device must operate on a power source as specified on the specification label. If you
are not sure of the type of power supply used in your home, consult your dealer or local
power company.

remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with dilute detergent.
23. The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by malfunction, misuse,
modification of the device or battery replacement.
24. Do not interrupt the connection when the device is formatting or transferring files.
Otherwise, data may be corrupted or lost.

26. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or near the apparatus.

within this user manual will not be covered by warranty.
35. Never remove the casing of this apparatus.
36. Never place this apparatus on other electrical equipment.
37. Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct sunlight, heat,
excessive dust or vibration.

39. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Instructions
Basic operations
Mains Connection
Make sure that all of the components are connected correctly.
Check that the voltage level required by your equipment matches the local mains supply,
namely AC 230V ~50Hz. Plug the AC plug into the wall outlet.
Clock back up battery
- Open the battery compartment cover
- Insert 2xAAA size 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the battery
compartment.
NOTE: Check your batteries regularly, old or discharged batteries may leak and damage the
unit. When replacing batteries always ensure you do not mix old and new batteries and
replace with the same type batteries.
Power Management:
When there is no signal of AUX/BT for 10 minutes, unit will go to standby.

NOTE: For optimum FM radio reception, extend Telescopic FM antenna. To improve
Reception quality, rotate the unit.

Listening to the DAB
- Pess the FUNCTION utto util the displa shos DAB Mode
- Pess ad hold SCAN to seah adio statios autoatiall ad the statios foud
will be stored in a DAB program list. The first stored station will be played after the
sa is opleted. Use the TUNING ko to selet oe of the statios stoed i the
program list.
Pess INFO to hek ifoatio i DAB poga:
- Tet Ifoatio, Plaig appeas if othig is to e sho;
- Signal strength;
- Poga tpe, No PTY appeas if othig is to e sho;
- Radio station name;
- Station Frequency. Example: 5A 174.928MHz;
- Signal error;
- Bit rate and radio frequency, such as 192kbps/DAB+;
- Radio Statio Tie, No Tie appeas if othig is to e sho;
- Radio Statio Date, No Date appeas if othig is to e sho;
Pess MENU to ete DAB eu, tu TUNING to set:
- <Manual tune>manual tuning: can be used to search manually for a specific
feue. Tu the TUNING ko to selet the euested feue ad the pess
the TUNING ko to use the seleted feue.
- <Prune> Remove invalid radio stations from the DAB channel list.: which means
delete Stations without signal after a full scan
- <System> System setting: (See Submenu options below)
- <Laguage> DAB sste laguage: Pess TUNING ko to selet laguage, default
is English. There are 4 languages, you can choose: Deutsch, Italiano, Francais ,
Potuguese; The seleted laguage has a * ak
- <Factory Reset> Full reset to factory settings: Pess TUNING ko to eset. Note:
After factory reset, the default mode is DAB radio.
- <SW Version> Will show the actual firmware version
DAB Programming:
- Peset Stoe: Statio stoig: Pess ad hold the P.SET utto to ete the Peset
store odus. Use the TUNING ko to selet the desied peset loatio. The uused
presets will have (empty) displayed. You can overwrite an existing or empty preset by
seletig it ad pessig the TUNING ko.

- Preset Recall: station recall: Press the P.SET utto to ete the Peset eall odus.
Tu the TUNING ko to selet ou faoite stoed peset statio ad the pess the
TUNING". The seleted statio ill e plaed.
Aux in function
Sith the uit o  pessig the POWER utto.
- Pess the FUNCTION utto util AUX ode is sho o the displa.
- Now you can play music from other music devices (MP3, CD player, Smartphone etc.)
connected to the RCA aux in connections on the back of the unit.
Bluetooth function
- Pess the FUNCTION utto util BT ode is sho o the displa.
- If the Lenco DAR-012 has never been paired or cannot find the last paired device, the
displa ill sho UNCONNECT. This eas the uit is i seah ode. Please follo
the instructions below to pair your Bluetooth device with the Lenco DAR-012.
- Whe paiig as suessful, the displa ill sho CONNECTED.
- B pessig the PAIR/SCAN utto ou a PLAY/PAUSE the sog.
- Tu the TUNING ko to pla peious o et sog.
- Press and hold the PAIR/SCAN utto fo  seods to pai ith aothe Bluetooth
device
Notes: If your Bluetooth enabled device does not support A2DP profile, it will not play the
music through the speaker, even if paired (linked).
Clock and Alarm Operation
- If the radio is powered off, you can turn on the display light for a few seconds by pressing
any button.
Setting the alarm
- Make sue the adio is tued off. Pess ad hold the MENU utto util the hou
indicator starts to blink. You can set the hour by turig the TUNING ko ad he
ou hae eahed the desied hou tie, pess the TUNING ko to ofi. No ou
a set the iutes  tuig the TUNING ko agai ad pessig the TUNING
knob to confirm.
After confirming the minutes you may set the alarm sound (BUZZER, DAB or FM) by turning
the TUNING ko ad ofi  pessig the TUNING ko
When alarm is activated, press TUNING button as SNOOZE.
Alarm will nap for 9 minutes and reactivate again every time after pressing SNOOZE.
Alarm will repeat until off, maximum 6 times within 1 hour.

onderhoudspersoneel.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK
ONTHOUD DE VOLGENDE INSTRUCTIES:
1. Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de buurt van water.
2. Reinig het uitsluitend met een licht vochtige doek.
3. Bedek of blokkeer de ventilatie-openingen niet. Wanneer u het apparaat op een schap

gehele apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen! Wanneer kinderen met de voedingskabel
spelen, kunnen zij ernstig letsel oplopen.

product. Er is hoogspanning in het product aanwezig en als u er een object insteekt, kan dat
een elektrische schok veroorzaken en/of kortsluiting in de interne onderdelen. Mors om

11. Gebruik het toestel niet in vochtige ruimtes, zoals badkamers, stomende keukens of in de
buurt van zwembaden.
12. Gebruik dit apparaat niet wanneer condensatie kan optreden.
13. Alhoewel dit apparaat met grote zorg gefabriceerd en verschillende keren geïnspecteerd is
voordat het de fabriek verlaat, is het nog steeds mogelijk dat er problemen optreden, zoals
met alle elektrische apparaten. Als u rook, een overmatige hitteontwikkeling of enig ander

22. Gebruik een zacht, droog doekje om het apparaat te reinigen. Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen
of op benzine gebaseerde vloeistoffen. U kunt een vochtig doekje met verdund
schoonmaakmiddel gebruiken om hardnekkige vlekken te verwijderen.
23. De leverancier is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade of verloren gegevens veroorzaakt door
storing, misbruik, modificatie van het apparaat of batterijvervanging.
24. Onderbreek nooit de verbinding wanneer het apparaat formatteert of bestanden
overdraagt. De gegevens kunnen anders corrupt of verloren raken.
25. Indien het apparaat een USB-afspeelfunctie heeft, moet de USB-geheugenstick rechtstreeks
op het apparaat worden aangesloten. Gebruik geen USB-verlengkabel, omdat die kan leiden
tot storingen met foutieve gegevens als gevolg.
26. Het apparaat mag niet worden blootgesteld aan druppels of spatten en zorg ervoor dat er
geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen, zoals vazen, op of nabij het apparaat zijn geplaatst.
27. * Om de verbinding met de stroomaansluiting volledig te verbreken, moet de stekker van
het apparaat uit het stopcontact worden gehaald, omdat de stekker van het apparaat de
hoofdschakelaar is.
28. Indien het apparaat op batterijen kan werken, dan mogen de batterijen niet aan overmatige
hitte, zoals zonlicht, open vuur e.d. worden blootgesteld.
29. Aandacht voor het milieu is nodig bij het verwijderen van de batterijen.
30. Het apparaat kan alleen worden gebruikt in gematigde klimaten. Extreem koude of warme
omgevingen moeten worden vermeden.
31. Het nominale specificatielabel is te vinden op het paneel aan de onder- of achterkant van
het apparaat.
32. Dit apparaat is niet bestemd voor gebruik door mensen (inclusief kinderen) met fysieke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke gebreken of gebrek aan kennis en ervaring, tenzij zij onder toezicht
staan of instructies hebben over het juiste gebruik van het apparaat hebben gekregen van
de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.

wanneer er vloeistof of een voorwerp in het apparaat is terechtgekomen, wanneer het

Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen correct zijn aangesloten.
Controleer of het spanningsniveau dat nodig is voor uw apparatuur overeenkomt met de
plaatselijke netspanning, namelijk AC 230V ~50 Hz. Steek de AC-stekker in het stopcontact.
Back-upbatterij t.b.v. klok
- Open de klep van het batterijvak
- Installeer 2x type AAA 1,5V batterijen en let daarbij op de juiste polariteit zoals
aangegeven binnenin de batterijhouder.
OPMERKING: Controleer uw batterijen regelmatig, oude of lege batterijen kunnen lekken en
het apparaat beschadigen. Let er bij het vervangen van batterijen altijd op dat u batterijen
van hetzelfde type gebruikt en dat u geen oude en nieuwe batterijen mixt.
Stroombeheer:
Het apparaat gaat naar stand-by als er 10 minuten lang geen signaal van AUX/BT is.

Naar FM luisteren
- Houd de toets SCAN igedukt o de adio autoatish te late sae. Elke sa
begint vanaf 87,5MHZ en gevonden radiostations zullen automatisch worden opgeslagen.
Het eerste opgeslagen station zal automatisch worden afgespeeld zodra de scan is
voltooid.
- Druk op INFOom informatie weer te geven over het huidige radiostation {Geen
radiotekst} (tekstinformatie) {Geen PTY} (programmatype) ‐{Geen naam} (naam van
radiostation)‐‐‐‐Mono/Stereo‐‐‐‐Tijd‐‐‐Datum
- Duk op P.SET o het eeste opgeslage
radiostation weer te geven

OPMERKING: Voor een optimale FM-radio-ontvangst, trek de uitschuifbare FM-antenne
volledig uit. Draai het apparaat indien nodig om de ontvangst te verbeteren.
Naar DAB luisteren
Duk op de toets FUNCTION totdat de displa DAB ModeDAB Modus eegeeft.
- Houd SCAN igedukt o autoatish aa adiostatios te zoeke e de
gevonden stations zullen worden opgeslagen in een DAB-programmalijst. Het eerste
opgeslagen station zal worden afgespeeld zodra de scan is voltooid. Gebruik de knop
TUNING o ee a de statios opgeslage i de pogaalijst te seletee.
Duk op INFO o de ifoatie a het DAB-programma te controleren:
- Tekstifoatie, Plaig Afspelen) verschijnt als er niets weer te geven is;
- Signaalsterkte;
- Pogaatpe, No PTY Gee PTY eshijt als e iets ee te gee is;
- Naam van radiostation;
- Stationsfrequentie. Voorbeeld: 5A 174,928MHz;
- Signaalfout;
- Bitsnelheid en radiofrequentie, zoals 192kbps/DAB+;
- Tijd adiostatio, No Tie Gee tijd eshijt als e iets ee te gee is;
- Datu adiostatio, No Date Gee datu eshijt als e iets ee te gee is;
Duk op MENU o het DAB-eu te opee, daai TUNING o i te stelle:
- <Manual tune>handmatig afstemmen: kan worden gebruikt om handmatig naar een
speifieke feuetie te zoeke. Daai de kop TUNING o de geeste feuetie
te seletee e duk eolges op de kop TUNING o de geseleteede
frequentie te gebruiken.
- <Prune> Verwijder ongeldige radiostations uit de DAB-kanaallijst: dit betekent dat
stations zonder signaal na een volledige scan worden gewist
- <System> Systeeminstelling: (zie submenuopties hieronder)
- <Language> DAB-ssteetaal: Duk op de kop TUNING o ee taal te seletee,
de standaard instelling is Engels. U kunt uit 4 talen kiezen: Deutsch, Italiano, Francais ,
Potuguese; De geseleteede taal staat geakeed et ee *
- <Factory Reset> Complete reset naar de standaard fabrieksinstellingen: Druk op de
kop TUNING o te esette. Opekig: Na deze eset zal de stadaad odus
DAB-radio zijn.
- <SW Version> (Softwareversie) Zal de actuele firmwareversie weergeven

DAB-programmering:
- Voorkeuze opslaa: Statio opslaa: Houd de toets P.SET igedukt o de odus
Peset stoe te opee. Geuik de kop TUNING o de geeste geheugeloatie
te selecteren. Voor de ongebruikte geheugenlocaties zal (leeg) worden weergegeven. U
kunt een bestaande of lege voorkeuzelocatie overschrijven door deze te selecteren en op
de kop TUNING te dukke.
- Vookeuzestatio heoepe: Statio heoepe: Duk op de toets P.SET o de odus
Peset eall te opee. Daai de kop TUNING o het geeste opgeslage
vookeuzestatio te seletee e duk eolges op TUNING. Het geseleteede
station zal worden afgespeeld.
Aux-in functie
Shakel het appaaat i doo op de toets POWER te dukke.
- Duk op de toets FUNCTION totdat AUX ode odt eegegee op de display.
- U kunt nu muziek afspelen van andere muziekbronnen (MP3, cd-speler, smartphone,
enz.) aangesloten op de RCA AUX-ingangen op de achterzijde van het apparaat.
Bluetooth-functie
- Duk op de toets FUNCTION totdat BT ode odt eegegee op de display.
- Als de Lenco DAR-012 noh niet eerder was gepaard of het laatst gepaarde apparaat kan
iet ode geode, da zal de displa UNCONNECT Niet eode eegee.
Dit betekent dat het apparaa is ingesteld op zoekmodus. Vol a.u.b. de instructies
hieronder om uw Bluetooth-apparaat te paren met de Lenco DAR-012.
- Zoda de paig is geslaagd, zal de displa CONNECTED Veode eegee.
- U kut de uziek STARTEN/PAUZEREN doo op de toets PAIR/SCAN te dukke.
- Daai de kop TUNING om de volgende of vorige track af te spelen.
- Houd de toets PAIR/SCAN  seode igedukt o ee ade Bluetooth-apparaat te
paren.
Opmerkingen: Als uw apparaat met ingeschakelde Bluetooth-functie het A2DP-profiel niet
ondersteunt, dan zal de muziek ervan niet via de luidspreker worden afgespeeld, zelfs niet
wanneer gepaard (verbonden).
Bediening klok en alarm
- Als de radio is uitgeschakeld, dan kunt u het schermlicht enkele seconden inschakelen
door op een willekeurige toets te drukken.

Het alarm instellen
- Cotolee of de adio is uitgeshakeld. Houd de toets MENU igedukt totdat de
uueegae egit te kippee. Daai de kop TUNING o de ue i te stelle e

Druk op de knop TUNING of SNOOZE wanneer het alarm is geactiveerd.
Het alarm is 9 minuten lang uit en wordt na elke druk op SNOOZE opnieuw geactiveerd.
Het alarm wordt maximaal 6 keer binnen 1 uur opnieuw geactiveerd tot dat deze wordt
uitgezet.
De tijd instellen
- Cotolee of de adio is uitgeshakeld. Houd de toets SELECT igedukt totdat Tie
setup Tijdistellig odt eegegee op de displa. Daai de kop TUNING totdat
u Set Clok Klok istelle ziet e seletee deze optie doo op de kop TUNING te
drukken.
Daai de kop TUNING o de ue i te stelle e duk te eestigig op de kop
TUNING aee de geeste uetijd is eeikt. Daai u de kop TUNING o te
minuten in te stellen en druk ter eestigig op de kop TUNING.
De datum instellen
- Cotolee of de adio is uitgeshakeld. Houd de toets SELECT igedukt totdat Tie

u Set Date Datu istelle ziet e seletee deze optie doo op de kop TUNING te
drukken.
