Blowing away the competition
The CBX40UHV slowly ramps up,
instead of starting at full speed, to
allow the coil temperature to get
hot before air exits the registers. By
slowly ramping up the motor, the
heat pump and the electric heat
strips can “pre-heat” to avoid a
drafty feeling in the winter.
Every air conditioner or heat pump needs an indoor unit to blow
conditioned air through the home, and there are several to choose from.
Typical air handlers simply circulate heated or cooled air through the
air duct system. The CBX40UHV does this plus so much more.
In heating mode, the CBX40UHV increases airflow slowly, virtually eliminating
the “cold blow” common with some air handlers. Low-speed operation helps
keep sound to a minimum. What’s more, a built-in filtration system helps clean
the air of allergy-aggravating particles. This innovative air handler delivers
