Intended Use
This device is intended for the removal of dirt and
stains in domestic households by using steam, for
example...
• smooth surfaces: work surfaces, tiles, stove tiles,
windows, mirrors
• hard-to-reach areas: corners, joints, louvers, WC,
bathroom fittings, etc.
• textiles: curtains, cushions, clothing, car seats.
This device is not intended:
• for use outdoors,
• for use with liquids other than water
• for use in commercial or industrial environ-
ments.

Safety instructions
To avoid potentially fatal electric
shocks:
• Ensure that the power cable does not become
wet or moist during use. Place it such that it cannot
be squashed or damaged.
• Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug
become damaged, to avoid personal risks arrange
for it/them to be repaired by Customer Services.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket befo-
re filling the appliance with water, cleaning it or
changing accessories.
• Use the device only in dry rooms, not outdoors.
• Fill the appliance using only the supplied funnel and
measuring beaker! Never hold it under running
water. Never submerge the device in water.
• NEVER leave a heat-generating appliance unat-
tended! After use or during work pauses, ALWAYS
remove the plug from the power socket. The appli-
ance heats up and generates steam pressure conti-
nuously when the plug is in the power socket!
• Use the appliance only with dry hands and
never without shoes (not barefoot). This will help
reduce hazardous body currents in the event of an
error.
• NEVER direct jets of steam towards electrical
appliances or heat or moisture sensitive objects.
To avoid the risks of fire or injury:
• Never direct the steam toward people or animals.
Hot steam under high pressure can cause serious
injuries!
• The steam switch may NOT be clamped when the
appliance is in use.
Caution – heat!
High temperatures are to be expected at the
steam exit and lid threads during operation
and for up to 30 minutes after removing the
power cable. Do not touch these areas until
they have cooled down completely.
• Fill the appliance with clean mains water only
(max. 320 ml) – NEVER use other liquids or
sundry additives! These can react in unexpected
ways under pressure and heat!
Risk of scalding!
NEVER open the lid while pressure exists within
the boiler (e.g. if hissing can still be heard when
pressing the steam switch). Should you do so,
hot steam will escape rapidly upon opening!
• Do not operate the device with an empty water
tank. When the water reserve is used up, remove
the power cable to prevent the appliance from
overheating.
• The accessories will get hot during use! There is a
danger of being burnt!
• Allow the accessories to cool down before
removing them.
• Use only the original accessory parts for this
device. Other accessories may probably not
meet the safety requirements.
• This appliance is not suitable for children or for
people whose physical, sensorial or intellectual
faculties prevent the safe usage of the appliance
without support or supervision. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• Wear gloves, protective glasses and breathing
protection when attempting to remove substances
hazardous to health.
• Check to ensure that the voltage details given on the
appliance rating plate tally with the local power
supply voltage.

Operation
First carry out a test on an unobtrusive area to be
certain that the material to be cleaned is suitable for
high pressure steam, for instance:
• Painted wood or leather can be bleached by
steam.
• Unprotected wood can expand.
• Protective wax coatings can be removed by steam.
• Plastics can become tarnished from the effects of
steam.
• Soft plastics can deform when exposed to steam.
• Cold glass or mirror surfaces can crack when
sprayed with hot steam.
• If you wish to clean windows, you must first pre-
heat them, for instance by applying the steam over
large areas from a greater distance, then moving
in progressively closer.
• Draw the glass attachment iin sweeps from top to
bottom over glass surfaces. Wipe the rubber edge
and the lower window border dry with a cloth
after every sweep.
• Acrylics, velvet and linen react sensitively to hot
steam, as do plastic fibres.
Attaching/Removing Accessories
• Select a suitable accessory (i-a, f-h) as per the
details in the chapter „Appliance description and
accessories“ for the proposed cleaning task.
• Attach the accessory to the front of the connec-
ting nozzle y, such that the locking button u
engages in the recess on the accessory.
• To release it, press the locking button udown and
pull the accessory off.
• To use the angle nozzle for the round brush g,
the narrow-jet nozzle hmust first be attached.
• Attach the angle nozzle for round brush g, up
to the marking on the narrow-jet nozzle h.
• If using the multi-purpose nozzle o, place the tex-
tile overlay aon the multi-purpose nozzle o.
Filling with Water
Warning:
Before refilling with water:
• Allow the appliance to cool down, to avoid
being scalded.
• Remove the plug from the power socket, to
avoid the risk of an electric shock.

Note:
The appliance is fitted with a safety mechanism
which prevents the lid being opened qshould
there still be steam in the boiler t.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket.
• Press the steam switch wuntil the steam in the
boiler thas been completely released.
• Turn the lid qon the boiler tand remove it.
• Fill the appliance with a maximum of 320ml of
cold water using the measuring beaker sand
funnel d.
Caution:
Do not overfill the appliance. Excessive
pressure can result if filled with too much water.
The appliance could become damaged!
• Replace the lid, qsecuring it handtight.
Heating Up
When the boiler is filled with water and the lid qis
firmly closed:
• Place the appliance on a tilt-safe even surface and
insert the plug into a power socket.
• The control lamp rglows. After ca. 5 min. the
control lamp rextinguishes and the appliance is
ready for use.
Cleaning with Steam
Warning:
ALWAYS hold the device upright during use –
never tilt the appliance to an angle greater
than about 45 degrees (in any direction).
Hot water could drip out and cause scalds.
• Aim the accessory at the area to be cleaned...
• First at a distance of about 20cm.
• Press the steam switch w. Steam now exits
through the nozzle.
• You may now advance as close to the area to
be be cleaned as the material itself can tolerate
steam.
• Wipe away any possible water residues with a dry
cloth.
Take note:
Should the steam power diminish, it is an
indication that the steam in the boiler thas
all been used. The control lamp rglows. Wait
until the control lamp rextinguishes again.
Should no more steam come from the nozzle
after a short period, the water has been com-
pletely used up. Refill the appliance with water.

Cleaning the appliance
Danger:
Do not open any part of the housing. There are
no user-serviceable elements inside. An open
housing brings with it the risk of a lethal
electrical shock.
Before cleaning the appliance,
• Remove the plug from the wall socket.
• Press the steam switch wuntil the steam in the
boiler thas been completely discharged.
• Allow the appliance to cool down. This can take
up to 30 minutes.
Caution:
The lid threads remain hot for some consider-
able time, even after the rest of the device has
long since cooled down.
• A decalcification of the appliance is not necessary.
• Remove deposits and residues from the boiler t
after every usage, in that you rinse it out tho-
roughly. To do this, fill the boiler twith clear
mains water as described in the chapter „Filling
with Water“. Then close the lid qand vigorously
shake the appliance.
• Empty the tank when the cleaning process is
complete.
• Clean all exterior surfaces with a lightly
moistened dishcloth. In all cases, dry the
appliance well.
• Never use detergents, abrasive cleaners or
solvents. These can damage the appliance.
Storage
• Press the steam switch wuntil the steam in the
boiler thas been completely discharged.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely
before putting it into storage.
• Empty the water tank after completing the tasks.
Water remaining in the boiler tcould become
bacteriologically contaminated – the bacteria
would then be sprayed into the air the next time
the appliance is taken into use.
• Store the appliance in a dry place.
• Store the appliance where it will be out of reach
of children and people requiring supervision.
They cannot always correctly assess the risks
and dangers associated with heat-generating
appliances.
Disposal
Under no circumstances may the appliance
be disposed of with normal household
waste.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case
of doubt, please contact your local waste disposal
centre.
Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.

This appliance is guaranteed for 3 years from the
date of purchase. It has been carefully produced and
meticulously checked before delivery. Please keep
your receipt as proof of purchase. Contact your
service centre by telephone in case of questions
pertaining to the warranty.
Your goods can be transmitted free of cost only in this
manner.
The warranty covers only material or manufacturing
faults, not normal wear or damage to fragile parts
such as switches or rechargeable batteries.
The appliance is intended solely for private, not
commercial, use. If this product has been subjected
to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or
interventions not carried out by one of our autho-
rised sales and service outlets, the warranty will
be considered void. This warranty does not
affect your statutory rights.

Käyttötarkoitus
Laite on tarkoitettu lian poistoon vesihöyryllä
yksityistalouksissa, esimerkiksi seuraavista kohteista:
• tasaiset pinnat: työtasot, laatat, kaakelit, ikkunat
ja peilit
• vaikeasti saavutettavat alueet: kulmat, saumat,
sälekaihtimet, WC, hanat jne.
• Tekstiilit: verhot, tyynyt, vaatteet, autonistuimet.
Laitetta ei ole tarkoitettu:
• käytettäväksi ulkona.
• käytettäväksi muiden nesteiden kuin veden kanssa.
• käytettäväksi ammattimaisesti tai teollisesti.

Turvaohjeet
Hengenvaarallisen sähköiskun
välttämiseksi:
• Varo, ettei virtajohto kastu tai kostu käytön
aikana. Huolehdi siitä, että johto ei puristu tai
vahingoitu.
• Jos laite, virtajohto tai verkkopistoke on
vahingoittunut, anna valtuutetun huoltoliikkeen
vaihtaa se uuteen vaarojen välttämiseksi.
• Irrota pistoke ensin pistorasiasta, ennen kuin
täytät laitteen vedellä, puhdistat laitteen tai
vaihdat lisäosia.
• Käytä laitetta vain kuivassa tilassa, älä ulkona.
• Täytä laite ainoastaan mukana tulevan suppilon
ja mitta-astian avulla! Älä pidä laitetta koskaan
vesisuihkun alla. Älä koskaan upota laitetta
veteen.
• Älä jätä lämpöä kehittävää laitetta koskaan ilman
valvontaa! Vedä pistoke aina pois pistorasiasta
käytön jälkeen tai työn keskeydyttyä. Laite
kuumenee ja kehittää höyrynpainetta niin
kauan, kun pistoke on pistorasiassa!
• Käytä laitetta vain kuivin käsin. Älä koskaan käytä
laitetta ilman kenkiä (ei paljain jaloin). Näin
vähennät toimintahäiriön sattuessa sähköiskun
vaaraa.
• Älä koskaan suuntaa laitetta sähkölaitteita tai
lämmölle ja kosteudelle herkkiä esineitä kohti.
Palo- ja loukkaantumisvaarojen
välttämiseksi:
• Älä koskaan suuntaa höyryä ihmisiä tai eläimiä
päin. Kuuma höyry saattaa aiheuttaa huomatta-
via vammoja!
• Höyrykytkintä ei saa lukita paikoilleen käytön
aikana.
Vaara – kuuma!
Käytön aikana ja jopa 30 minuuttia verkkopi-
stokkeen irrottamisen jälkeen saattaa esiintyä
höyrypurkauksia ja korkeita lämpötiloja kannen
kierteissä. Älä koske näihin kohtiin, ennen kuin
ne ovat täysin jäähtyneet.
• Täytä laitteeseen ainoastaan vesijohtovettä (kork.
320ml) – älä koskaan käytä muita nesteitä tai
mitään lisäaineita! Ne saattavat reagoida odotta-
mattomasti paineen ja kuumuuden alaisina!
Palovamman vaara!
Älä koskaan avaa kantta niin kauan kun vesipan-
nussa on painetta (esim. jos kuulet vielä sihinää
painaessasi höyrykytkintä). Kuuma höyry saattaa
avattaessa purkautua äkillisesti!
• Älä käytä laitetta silloin kun säiliö on tyhjä. Jos
sinun täytyy lisätä laitteeseen vettä, irrota
verkkopistoke, jotta vältät ylikuumenemisen.
• Lisäosat kuumenevat käytössä! On olemassa
palovammavaara!
• Anna käytettyjen lisäosien jäähtyä ensin, ennen
kuin irrotat ne laitteesta.
• Käytä laitteessa vain alkuperäisiä lisävarusteita.
Muut osat eivät ehkä ole riittävän turvallisia.

• Tämä laite ei sovellu lapsille tai muille henkilöille,
joiden fyysiset, aistilliset tai henkiset kyvyt estävät
laitteen turvallisen käytön ilman tukea tai valvon-
taa. Lapsia on valvottava ja varmistettava, etteivät
he leiki laitteella.
• Käytä käsineitä, suojalaseja ja hengityssuojainta,
jos yrität irrottaa terveydelle vaarallisia aineita.
• Varmistu siitä, että tyyppikilven jännitetieto vastaa
paikallista verkkojännitettä.
Käyttö
Tarkasta ensin huomaamattomassa kohdassa,
soveltuuko puhdistettava materiaali höyrypesurilla
puhdistettavaksi, esim.:
• Lakattu puu tai nahka saattaa höyryn
vaikutuksesta hilseillä.
• Suojaamaton puu saattaa turvota.
• Suojavahakerrokset saattavat irrota
höyrykäsittelyssä.
• Muovit saattavat höyryn vaikutuksesta muuttaa
väriään.
• Pehmeät muovit saattavat muuttaa muotoaan
höyrykäsittelyssä.
• Kylmät lasi- tai peilipinnat saattavat haljeta, kun
kuuma höyry osuu niihin.
• Jos haluat puhdistaa ikkunoita, lämmitä ikkunat
ensin esim. kohdistamalla höyryä suuralaisesti
ensin kauempaa ja sitten yhä lähempää.
• Vedä ikkunapintaa ikkunapesimellä ikaistoittain
ylhäältä alaspäin. Pyyhi kumilasta ja ikkunan
alareuna jokaisen kaistan jälkeen kuivaksi liinalla.
• Akryyli, sametti ja silkki reagoivat herkästi
kuumaan höyryyn, samoin tekokuidut.
Lisäosien kiinnittäminen/irrottaminen
• Valitse puhdistustarkoitukseesi sopiva lisäosa
(i-a, f-h) luvun „Laitekuvaus ja lisäosat“
kuvauksen perusteella.
• Työnnä lisäosa eteen liitoskappaleeseen yniin,
että lukituspainike ulukittuu lisäosan
syvennykseen.
• Avaa lukitus jälleen painamalla lukitus-
painiketta ualaspäin ja irrota lisäosa.
• Voidaksesi käyttää kulmasuutinta ftai pyörö-
harjaa g, on pistesuihkusuutin hasetettava ensin
paikoilleen.
• Työnnä kulmasuutin ftai pyöröharja g
pistesuihkusuuttimeen hmerkintään saakka.
• Tasosuutinta okäyttääksesi aseta tekstiilisuojus
atasosuuttimelle o.
Veden täyttäminen
Varoitus:
Ennen veden täyttämistä uudelleen:
• Anna laitteen jäähtyä, muutoin on olemassa
palovammavaara.
• Irrota verkkopistoke, muutoin on olemassa
sähköiskun vaara.

Ohje:
Laite on varustettu turvamekanismilla, joka
estää kannen qavaamisen niin kauan, kun
vesipannussa ton höyryä.
• Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta.
• Paina höyrykytkintä w, kunnes vesipannussa t
oleva höyry on poistunut kokonaan.
• Kierrä vesipannun tpäällä oleva kansi qauki
ja irrota kansi.
• Täytä pannuun korkeintaan 320 ml vesijohtovettä
mitta-astian sja suppilon davulla.
Varo:
Älä täytä laitetta liian täyteen. Jos vettä täyte-
tään liikaa, saattaa paineesta tulla liian suuri.
Laite voi vaurioitua lopullisesti!
• Kierrä kansi qjälleen käsin kiinni.
Kuumentaminen
Kun vesi on täytetty ja kansi qkierretty käsin kiinni.
• Aseta laite tasaiselle pinnalle, jolla se ei pääse
kaatumaan, ja työnnä verkkopistoke pistorasiaan.
• Merkkivalo rsyttyy. N. 5 minuutin kuluttua
merkkivalo rsammuu ja laite on käyttövalmis.
Höyryllä puhdistaminen
Varoitus:
Pidä laitetta aina pystysuorassa – älä koskaan
kallista laitetta enemmän kuin noin 45 astetta
(mihin tahansa suuntaan). Laitteesta saattaa
muutoin vuotaa kuumaa vettä, mikä voi
aiheuttaa palovamman.
• Suuntaa lisäosa puhdistettavaan pintaan...
• aluksi noin 20cm:n etäisyydeltä.
• Paina höyrykytkintä w. Suuttimesta virtaa höyryä.
• Voit nyt siirtää laitetta niin lähelle puhdistettavaa
pintaa, kuin materiaali sen sallii.
• Pyyhi mahdolliset vesijäämät kuivalla liinalla.
Ohje:
Jos höyryteho alenee käytön aikana, vesipan-
nussa toleva höyry on käytetty loppuun.
Merkkivalo rsyttyy. Odota, kunnes merk-
kivalo rsammuu uudelleen. Jos jonkin ajan
kuluttua ei höyrysuuttimesta tule vieläkään
höyryä, vesivarasto on käytetty loppuun.

Laitteen puhdistaminen
Vaara:
Älä koskaan avaa kotelon osia. Sisällä ei ole
minkäänlaisia hallintalaitteita. Jos kotelo ava-
taan, sähköisku voi aiheuttaa hengenvaaran.
Ennen laitteen puhdistamista,
• Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta.
• Paina höyrykytkintä w, kunnes vesi-pannussa t
oleva höyry on poistunut kokonaan.
• Anna laitteen jäähtyä. Tämä on kestää noin
30 minuuttia.
Varo:
Kannen kierteet ovat vielä pitkään kuumia,
myös silloin, vaikka muu laite on jo jäähtynyt.
• Kalkin poistaminen laitteesta ei ole tarpeen.
• Poista vesipannun tkertymät jokaisen käytön
jälkeen huuhtelemalla se huolella. Täytä tätä
varten vesipannu tvesijohtovedellä luvussa
„Veden täyttäminen“ kuvatulla tavalla. Sulje
kansi qja ravista laitetta voimakkaasti.
• Tyhjennä tankki, kun olet lopettanut puhdistamisen.
• Puhdista kaikki ulkopinnat kevyesti kostutetulla
pesuliinalla. Kuivaa laite joka tapauksessa hyvin,
ennen kuin käytät sitä uudelleen.
• Älä käytä puhdistus-, hankaus- tai liuotinaineita.
Nämä saattavat vahingoittaa laitetta.
Säilytys
• Paina höyrykytkintä w, kunnes vesi-pannussa t
oleva höyry on poistunut kokonaan.
• Anna laitteen jäähtyä täysin, ennen kuin asetat
sen säilytettäväksi.
• Tyhjennä tankki, kun olet lopettanut työskentelyn.
Vesipannuun tjäävään veteen voi kertyä itiöitä

Takuu & huolto
Laitteen takuu on 3 vuotta ostopäivästä. Laite on
valmistettu huolellisesti ja tarkistettu tarkasti ennen
toimitusta. Säilytä ostokuitti todisteeksi takuun
voimassaolosta. Ota takuutapauksessa puhelimit-
se yhteyttä huoltopisteeseenne. Vain näin voidaan
taata tuotteesi maksuton lähettäminen huoltoon.
Takuu koskee ainoastaan materiaali- ja
valmistusvirheitä, ei kuitenkaan kuluvia osia tai
herkästi vaurioituvien osien, esim. kytkinten tai
akkujen vaurioita. Tuote on tarkoitettu ainoastaan
yksityiseen, ei kaupalliseen käyttöön.
Väärä tai asiaton käyttö, väkivallan käyttö ja muiden
kuin valtuutetun huoltopisteen suorittamat korjaukset
aiheuttavat takuun raukeamisen. Tämä takuu ei rajoita
kuluttajan lakisääteisiä oikeuksia.
