internationalguidelines(ICNIRP).Theselimits
arepartofcomprehensiveguidelinesand
establishpermittedlevelsofRFenergyfor
thegeneralpopulation.
Theguidelinesweredevelopedby
independentscientificorganisationsthrough
periodicandthoroughevaluationofscientific
studies.Theguidelinesincludeasubstantial
safetymargindesignedtoassurethesafety
ofallpersons,regardlessofageorhealth.
Theexposurestandardformobiledevices
employsaunitofmeasurementknown
astheSpecificAbsorptionRate,orSAR.
TheSARlimitstatedintheinternational

Whenthereislessthan2MBofspace

cannotreceivenewmessages.Youneedto
checkyourphonememoryanddeletesome
data,suchasapplicationsormessages,to

To uninstall applications:
1 Touch >System settings>Apps
fromtheDEVICEcategory.
2 Onceallapplicationsappear,scrollto

2. Optimising battery life
Extendyourbattery'slifebetweencharges

Batteryusagetimeisdisplayedonthe
screen.Ittellsyouhowlongithasbeen
sinceyoulastconnectedyourphonetoa
powersourceor,ifcurrentlyconnected,how
longthephonewaslastrunningonbattery
power.Thescreenshowstheapplicationsor
servicesusingbatterypower,listedinorder
fromthegreatesttosmallestamountused.
3. Using folders
Youcancombineseveralappiconsina
folder.Droponeappiconoveranotheron
aHomescreen,andthetwoiconswillbe
combined.
NOTE:Afteryouopenanapp,youcan
usuallyadjustitssettingsbychoosing
itemsfromitsMenuiconnearthetopor
bottomofthescreen.
4. Before installing an open
source application and OS

IfyouinstallanduseanOSotherthan
theoneprovidedbythemanufacturer,it
maycauseyourphonetomalfunction.
Inaddition,yourphonewillnolongerbe
coveredbythewarranty.
WARNING
Toprotectyourphoneandpersonaldata,
onlydownloadapplicationsfromtrusted
sources,suchasGooglePlay.Ifthere
areimproperlyinstalledapplicationson
yourphone,itmaynotworknormally
oraseriouserrormayoccur.Youmust
uninstallthoseapplicationsandall
associateddataandsettingsfromthe
phone.
5. Using hard reset
Ifitdoesnotrestoretotheoriginalcondition,
useHardReset(FactoryReset)toinitialise
yourphone.
Whenthephoneisturnedoff,pressand
holdthePower+Volumedownkeysat
thesametime(forovertenseconds),the
phonewillturnonandperformfactoryreset
immediately.
Pleasenote,afteryouperformHardReset,
allyourdataandapplicationsonyourphone
willbeerased.Thiscannotbereversed.

6. Opening and switching
applications
MultitaskingiseasywithAndroidbecause
youcankeepmorethanoneapplication
runningatthesametime.There'sno
needtoquitanapplicationbeforeopening
another.Useandswitchbetweenseveral
openapplications.Androidmanageseach
application,stoppingandstartingthemas
neededtoensurethatidleapplicationsdon't
consumeresourcesunnecessarily.
To view the list of recently used
applications:
SimplypressandholdtheHomekey.
To stop applications:
1 Touch >System settings>Apps
from the DEVICE > RUNNING tab.
2 Scrollandtouchthedesiredapplication
andtouchStoptostopit.

TheLGPCSuiteisasoftwarepackagethat
helpsyouconnectyourdevicetoaPCviaa
USBcableandWi-Fi.Onceconnected,you
canusethefunctionsofyourdevicefrom

8. Synchronising your phone to a
computer
DatafromyourdeviceandPCcanbe
synchronisedeasilyusingtheLGPC
Suitesoftware.Contacts,schedules,and
bookmarkscanbesynchronised.
Theprocedureisasfollows:
1 ConnectyourdevicetoyourPC(usea
USBcableorWi-Ficonnection).
2 Afterconnection,runtheprogram
andselectthedevicesectionfromthe
categoryontheleftsideofthescreen.
3 Click[Personalinformation]toselectit.
4 Tickthecheckboxesofthecontentyou
wanttosynchronise,andclicktheSync
button.
9. Synchronising your phone to a
computer via USB
NOTE:Tosynchroniseyourphonewith
yourPCusingtheUSBcable,youneed
toinstallLGPCSuiteonyourPC.
Pleaserefertopreviouspagestoinstall

2 ConnectthephonetoyourPCusingthe
USBcable.
3 TheUSBconnectionmodelistwill
appear;selecttheMedia sync (MTP)
option.
4 Opentheremovablememoryfolderon
yourPC.Youcanviewthemassstorage
contentonyourPCandtransferthefiles.
5 CopythefilesfromyourPCtothedrive
folder.
6 Selectthechargeonlyoptionto
disconnectthephone.

10. Hold your phone upright

internalantenna.Becarefulnottoscratchor
damagethebackofthephone,asthismay
affectperformance.

receivingdata,avoidholdingthelowerpart
ofthephonewheretheantennaislocated.

11. When the screen freezes
If the screen freezes or the phone does
not respond when you try to operate it:
Removethebattery,reinsertit,thenturnthe
phoneon.
OR
PressandholdthePower/Lockkeyfor
10secondstoturnitoff.
Ifitstilldoesnotwork,pleasecontactthe
servicecentre.
