Transferring Music
Ready to turn your phone into a music machine? Load up
the UX260 with your favorite songs using an optional
4GB microSD card.* Store up to appoximately 960 songs!
1. Insert your microSD card into the memory port with the
gold contacts facing down.
2. The rst time you transfer music, you must format the card.
Press the Left Soft Key for Menu, then select Settings (9) >
Memory (8) > Card Memory (3).
3. Press the Right Soft Key for Format, then select Yes (1).
4. Press , then
BACK
.
5. Select PC Connection (6), then USB Mass Storage (2).
6. Connect a USB cable* from the phone to your PC.
7. The PC will recognize the phone as a Removable Disk and a
screen will appear. Drag and drop music les on your PC into
the My_Music folder.
8. When you are nished, disconnect the phone.

Playing Music
Rock out when you’re on the go! With the UX260’s built-in
music player, you can listen to music anytime, anywhere.*
1. Insert a microSD card containing music with the gold
contacts facing down.
2. Press the Left Soft Key for Menu, then select Music (6).
3. Choose a category, then press .
4. Select the song you want to hear and press to begin
playing it.
5. Use the side Volume Keys

to adjust the volume
when a song is playing.

on the Navigation Key to go to the previous/
next song. Press

or t to view your song list.
7. Press

to exit the music player.

Bluetooth® Pairing
Ready to take your phone to the next level? Now you can with
Bluetooth. Connect to headsets, speakers, and more without
even using a cable or cord.
1. Set your Bluetooth accessory into pairing mode.*
2. Press up on the Navigation Key for Bluetooth, then select
Paired Devices (1).
3. Press the Left Soft Key for Search. When prompted to turn
on Bluetooth, press .
4. Press to begin a new search.
5. Once the Bluetooth device has been found, highlight it
and press .
6. Enter the passcode* (typically “0000” – 4 zeroes) and
press .
7. Press to connect with the device.

Taking a Picture/Recording a Video
You’ll always be ready for the action with the UX260. The
1.3 megapixel camera and camcorder let you instantly capture
the world around you.
1. To take a picture, press and hold the side

Key.
To record a video, quickly press
BACK
and select
Record Video (2).
2. Press left or right on the Navigation Key to adjust the
brightness and up or down for zoom.* Press the Right Soft
Key to adjust other camera/video options.
3. Press

to take the picture or start/stop recording.
4. To send your picture/video, press .
