Installation Guide
Winch Upside Down
1. Lower the Boat Lift and Remove Old Winch.
2. Remove Black Protective Cover from the
New Winch.
3. Install the Bracket and New Winch as
Shown Above. (Mounting Bolts Provided if
Needed) Do Not Tighten the Drum Bolt as you
Will Need to Remove it Again to Install the
Protective Cover.
4. Install the Cable to the Winch.
5. Install the Spacer Collar with the
Tappered End Closest to the Winch.
6. Install the Shaft into the Spacer
Collar. Make Sure the Spacer Collar
and Shaft are Tight. Use Vise Grip
if needed.
7. Install the Fiber Disc.
8. Install the Protective
Cover and Tighten the
Drum Bolt.
*The PWC motor shows a keyway, but we do not use it for the installation. When the
lift is going up the gear head bolt needs to be spinning clockwise. If it is not, there is a
chance the motor will loosen itself over time and spin off.
9. Install the Teardrop
Bracket With the Bolts
Provided onto the
Back of the Motor and
Tighten.
10. Slide Motor onto the Shaft.
Install Bolt and Washer into
Teardrop and Bracket. Tighten
with Nut. Install Bolt and Washer
into Motor and Tighten.
AC Needs to be GFI Protected. Recommended extension cords up to 150
feet 12/3. You can only us one battery on the PWC DC.
