BEFORE METER CAN BE PLACED IN SERVICE AFTER
REPAIR, METER MUST BE TESTED AND APPROVED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH U.S. GOVERNMENTS WEIGHTS
AND MEASURES STANDARDS
NEW METERING SYSTEMS MUST BE PURGED PRIOR
TO INSTALLATION OF METERING CONTROL VALVE TO
FREE SYSTEM OF CONTAMINATES.
DESCRIPTION
The elec ronic lube me er is designed specifically o
dispense mo or oils (S.A.E. 5-50), gear oils (S.A.E. 80-240),
au oma ic ransmission fluid, and an ifreeze (E hylene
Glycol) solu ion.
The elec ronic regis er module con ains a microprocessor
board powered by a Li hium ba ery wi h an expec ed life of 3
o 5 years depending on use. I can be programmed o
dispense in pin s, quar s, li ers, or gallons and will o alize
in li ers or gallons. A calibra ion fac or and uni of measure
are programmed during fac ory es . Unlike mechanical
me ers, hese uni s can be elec ronically re-calibra ed in he
field when necessary. A 5-digi liquid crys al display, accu-
ra e o he second decimal place, shows he exac amoun
of fluid dispensed. The en ire regis er module is pro ec ed
from he wear and ear of normal shop use by a rugged,
glass filled, shock resis an , nylon housing.
OPERATION
As fluid passes hrough he me ering chamber by en ering
he inle por , i displaces he pis on and exi s hrough he
ou le por . Each oscilla ion of he pis on displaces a given
volume of fluid. Con rolled clearances be ween he pis on
and chamber wall insure minimum leakage. As he pis on
oscilla es, i s cen er hub ro a es a magne which ac iva es
he microprocessor.
Depressing he RESET bu on before each use rese s he
o alizer o zero. Squeezing he rigger handle dispenses he
fluid.
The o al amoun of fluid dispensed from inven ory can be
checked periodically by depressing he TOTAL bu on. If he
uni s dispensed are pin s, quar s, or gallons, he o alizer
will read in gallons. If he uni s dispensed are li ers, he
o alizer will read in li ers.

PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
· PROGRAMM NG SW TCH
Loca ed on underside of module. Mus be depressed 5
seconds and released o ac iva e he programming proce-
dure.
· TOTAL BUTTON
a.) When depressed alone, i will display o al GALLONS or
LITERS used from inven ory.
b.) When depressed in he programming mode, i will allow
you o selec any i em o be changed.
· RESET BUTTON
a.) When depressed momen arily, i will clear he display.
b.) When depressed in he programming mode, i will
change any flashing objec on he display.
· TO CHANGE UN TS OF MEASURE
a.) Remove 3 screws holding elec ronic regis er module o
lube me er body.
b.) Depress he PROGRAMMING swi ch on bo om of
module for 5 seconds and release o ac iva e he
programming
procedure. A uni of measure symbol will flash.
c.) Toggle RESET bu on un il desired uni of measure
symbol appears.
d.) Again depress he PROGRAMMING swi ch on bo om of
module for 5 seconds and release o end he
programming procedure. This opera ion will lock in he
selec ed program and blank he display.
NOTE: Changing any uni of measure will rese he
o alizer o zero.

Example: Me er delivers 4.200 quar s.
Display shows only 4.000 quar s dispensed.

a.) Display exis ing me er correc ion fac or by depressing
and holding TOTAL and RESET bu ons.
Example: 0.995. (Make a no e of his number.)
b.) Calcula e a new me er correc ion fac or: 0.995 (exis ing
me er correc ion fac or) X 1.05 (calcula ed error fac or) =
1.045 (new me er correc ion fac or).
c.) Remove 3 screws holding regis er module o me er.
d.) Depress he PROGRAMMING swi ch on bo om of
module for 5 seconds and release o ac iva e he
programming procedure.
e.) Display will show exis ing me er correc ion fac or and
programmed uni of measure symbol will be flashing.
f.) Toggle TOTAL bu on un il lef mos correc ion fac or digi
ha you wish o change begins o flash.
g.) Toggle RESET bu on un il desired digi (1) appears.
h.) Toggle TOTAL bu on un il he nex digi you wish o
change begins o flash.
i.) Toggle RESET bu on un il he desired digi (0) appears.
j.) Toggle TOTAL bu on un il he nex digi you wish o
change begins o flash.
k.) Toggle RESET bu on un il he desired digi (4) appears.
I.) Toggle TOTAL bu on un il he nex digi you wish o
change begins o flash.
m.)Toggle RESET bu on un il he desired digi (5)
appears.
n.) Again depress he PROGRAMMING swi ch for 5 sec-
onds and release o end he programming procedure.
This opera ion will lock in he selec ed program and
blank he display. Reins all he regis er o he lube
me er.
NOTE: Af er programming, display will be blank. Depress
RESET or TOTAL bu on o reac iva e he display.
NOTE: Original me er correc ion fac or is wri en on op of
me er housing in black ink when fac ory calibra ed. I
may have been revised af er field ins alla ion. Use
correc ion fac or shown on display.
