Thank you for purchasing the Lindy HDMI 2.0 4K Hybrid Cable. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LIND 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.

Installation
This cable can be used in only one direction. The connectors are labelled “TX” and “RX”. Each
connector must be plugged in to the correct port to avoid display issues.
The HDMI connectors include electronic chipsets that convert the electrical signal to an optical signal
and back. The chipsets require ~250mA of power, because some HDMI sources are unable to
provide enough power for TX and RX, the RX connector is equipped with a USB A type male
connector. Use an available USB port that can supply up to 500mA @5VDC or a USB power supply
with at least 250mA. Please see the LINDY website for USB power supplies and cables.
Connect the cable to your devices before powering on your display and source to complete the
installation.
The minimum bending radius of the hybrid cable is approximately 6cm , bending the cable to
a smaller radius could irreversibly destroy the cable.
Never step on the cable or put any heavy pressure on to the cable
The maximum pulling tensile load of the cable is 150N (15kg). Never pull the cable with higher
load.
Compatibility Remark:
During extensive tests we found a compatibility issue unique to the Xbox 1S. The HDMI signal produced
by the console is not sufficient to display a signal of 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. At the moment there is no solution
to this issue and it will require some changes from Microsoft.

Installation und Betrieb
Der minimale Biegeradius des Hybridkabels beträgt ca. 6cm. Biegen Sie das Kabel NIEMALS
mit einem kleineren Radius und knicken Sie das Kabel NIEMALS, dies zerstört das Kabel
irreversibel!
Treten Sie niemals auf das Kabel und stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Kabel
Die maximale Zugkraft beträgt 150N. Ziehen Sie NIEMALS mit höherer Kraft an dem Kabel
Dies Kabel überträgt HDMI Signale AUSSCHLIEßLICH in einer Richtung, der Stecker, der an die
HDMI Signalquelle angeschlossen wird trägt die Bezeichnung TX, der andere Stecker RX.
Die Stecker enthalten opto-elektronische Transceiver Chips die mit Strom versorgt werden müssen.
In manchen Fällen reicht dafür die von der HDMI Signalquelle über HDMI bereitgestellte Stromver-
sorgung aus. In allen anderen Fällen oder zur Sicherheit muss das USB Kabel am RX in einen USB
Port eingesteckt werden der mindestens 250mA liefert, bzw. in ein USB Netzteil oder Ladeadapter
5VDC geregelt (+/- 0,25V, > 250mA) Sie finden USB Netzteile auf der LINDY Webseite.
Schließen Sie das Kabel an die Geräte an und schalten Sie alles ein um die Installation
abzuschließen.
Anmerkung zu Kompatibilität: Bei umfangreichen Tests fanden wir ein Kompatibilitätsproblem für die
Xbox 1S aufgrund ihrer schwachen HDMI Signalqualität bei 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. Leider gibt es keine Lösung
für dieses Problem, bis Microsoft die Ausgabequalität des HDMI-Signals der Xbox 1S deutlich
verbessert.

Installation et utilisation
L’angle minimum de courbure du câble hybride est 6cm. Ne pliez jamais davantage le câble
car cela le détruira.
Ne pas marcher sur le câble ou n’appliquez pas de charge importante sur le câble
La traction maximale admise sur le câble est de 150N (15kg). N’appliquez jamais une force de
traction supérieure.
Ce câble ne peut être utilisé que dans une direction. La prise à connecter côté source HDMI est
labellisé ‘’TX’’, le second (côté affichage) est identifié par le marquage ‘’RX’’.
Les prises comprennent un convertisseur optoélectronique qui nécessite une alimentation. Le
chipset demande un minimum de 250mA pour fonctionner. Dans la plupart des cas, l’alimentation
peut être fournie par la source HDMI pour le TX et le RX. Dans les autres cas, il faudra raccorder
une alimentation au RX via le connecteur USB de Type A. Utilisez un port USB disponible, celui-ci
peut fournir 5VDC sous 500mA ou utilisez une alimentation USB qui fournit au moins 5VDC sous
250mA. Merci de vous référez au site LINDY pour les câbles et alimentations disponibles.
Connectez le câble aux appareils et allumez l’écran et la source pour terminer l’installation.
Remarque de compatibilité : Au cours de tests approfondis, nous avons identifié un problème de
compatibilité propre à la Xbox 1S, en raison de la faible qualité du signal HDMI en 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. Il n'y
a malheureusement pas de solution à ce problème en attendant que Microsoft améliore la qualité du
signal en sortie des Xbox 1S.

Installazione e utilizzo
Il raggio di curvatura minimo del cavo è di 6cm, piegarlo ulteriormente potrebbe danneggiare
in modo irreversibile il cavo stesso.
Non calpestare o schiacciare il cavo
Il carico di trazione massimo del cavo è di 50N. Non tirare mai il cavo con un carico superiore.
Questo cavo può essere utilizzato solo in una direzione. I connettori sono contrassegnati come “TX”
e “RX”. Ogni connettore va inserito nella porta corretta.
I connettori HDMI hanno al loro interno dei chipset elettronici per la conversione a segnale ottico. I
chipset necessitano una corrente minima di ~250mA. In alcuni casi è la sorgente HDMI a fornire
l’alimentazione necessaria ad alimentare TX e RX, se però non è sufficiente occorre collegare un
alimentatore esterno all’RX tramite la porta USB Tipo A. Utilizzate una porta USB che è in grado di
fornire fino a 500mA @5VDC o utilizzate un alimentatore USB 5VDC da almeno 250mA. Consultate
il sito LINDY per trovare alimentatori e cavi USB.
Collegate il cavo ai dispositivi ed alimentate sorgente e monitor per completare l’installazione.
Nota sulla Compatibilità: Durante i test intensivi a cui abbiamo sottoposto il prodotto abbiamo rilevato
un problema di compatibilità con la XBOX 1S a causa della bassa qualità del segnale HDMI in uscita
quando viene impostata la risoluzione 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. Sfortunatamente non esistono soluzioni fintanto
che Microsoft non migliorerà il livello del segnale in uscita dalla XBOX 1S.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
