Addendum to User Manual English
This addendum is a supplement to the user manuals for the Single Head Single
Link KVM Switches No. 32322 and No. 32323. It adds the description and
features of the enhanced Dual Link function. All other features of this KVM switch
are identical to those for the Single Link versions as described in the previous
user manuals.
Both the two port and four port KVM switch support Single Link resolutions up to
1920x1200 (WUXGA) and Dual Link resolutions up to 2560x1600 (WQXGA).
When using mixed Single Link and Dual Link video cards and monitors please
ensure you have the latest video drivers installed.
Whilst primarily intended for use with DVI-D monitors, it is however possible to
also connect both digital and analogue VGA monitors to achieve a Dual Head
KVM switch with one Digital and one Analogue monitor connected if required. To
achieve this it is necessary to purchase additional adapters to separate the DVI-D
and VGA signals. Please refer to LINDY No. 41008 DVI-I to DVI-D and VGA
adapter and No. 37390 (0.5m) and No. 37391 (1M) VGA extension cables.
Please note: If your monitors have separate input connectors for analogue (VGA)
and digital (DVI-D) signals then you will require the LINDY DVI-I to DVI-D and
VGA adapter No. 41008 to connect to each monitor. In addition if your video card
also has separate outputs for DVI-D and VGA then again you will require No.
41008 to connect to your video card. The KVM Switch does not convert any video
signals but in fact switches analogue and digital signals simultaneously to each
port.

Addendum zum Benutzerhandbuch Deutsch
Dieses Addendum ist eine Ergänzung des Benutzerhandbuch der Single Link
DVI-I KVM Switches Art.Nr. 32322/23 um die Beschreibung der Dual Link DVI-
Funktion. Alle anderen Features dieser Dual link KVM Switches sind identisch zu
denen der DVI-I Single Link Modelle und sind dem Benutzerhandbuch zu
entnehmen.
Dieser Dual Link KVM Switch unterstützt auch höchstauflösende DVI
Monitore mit Auflösungen über 1920x1200, wie zum Beispiel 2560x1600 bei
verschiedenen 30“ Monitoren verwendet.
Er wurde primär für den Einsatz mit Dual Link DVI Produkten entwickelt. Bei
Verwendung mit DVI Single Link oder in gemischten Dual & Single Link
Umgebungen kann es möglicherweise zu Pixelfehlern, Linienfehlern und
anderen Inkompatibilitäten kommen. Falls Sie einem solchen Problem
gegenüberstehen, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass Sie ausschließlich ein
aktuelles Dual Link Display und aktuelle Grafikkarten / Signalquellen
verwenden. Unter Umständen helfen auch Updates der Firmware der
angeschlossenen Geräte.
Es ist möglich, wie bei unseren Single Link KVM Switches ebenfalls, an einem
DVI-I Port des KVM Switch gleichzeitig ein digitales und ein analoges Signal
umzuschalten und somit einen Dual Head Betrieb (analog & digital) zu realisieren.
In diesem Falle werden zum Aufsplitten des DVI-I Signals an den beiden
Monitoren das DVI-I Splitterkabel Art.Nr. 41008 sowie ein kurzes
Verlängerungskabel zum zweiten Monitor (VGA, z.B. VGA / Art.Nr. 37390 oder
37391) benötigt. An den Rechnern wird ebenfalls jeweils ein DVI-I Splitterkabel
Art.Nr. 41008 benötigt, sofern die Grafikkarte nicht schon beide Ausgangssignale
über nur einen DVI-I Anschluss ausgibt.

Addendum pour Manuel Utilisateur Français
Cet addendum est un complément du manuel d’utilisateur du switch KVM Single
Head Single Link DVI-I N° Art. 32322/23, par rapport à la description de la
fonction Dual Head Dual Link DVI. Toutes les autres caractéristiques ce switch
KVM Dual Head Dual Link sont identiques à celles des modèles DVI-I Single Link.
Ce switch KVM Dual Link supporte également les hautes résolutions DVI en
1920x1200, comme par exemple le 2560x1600 utilisé sur différents écrans
30“.
Ce switch KVM a été développé pour une utilisation avec les produits DVI Dual
Link. Si vous l’utilisez en DVI Single Link ou en mélangeant Dual & Single Link,
des pertes de pixels, de lignes et autres incompatibilités peuvent apparaître. Si
vous rencontrez de tels problèmes, merci de vous assurer que vous utilisez
exclusivement un écran actuel Dual Link et une source vidéo / carte graphique
actuelle. Une mise à jour du firmware peut aider à résoudre ces types de
problèmes.
Il est possible, même pour nos switchs KVM Single Link, de faire passer
simultanément un signal vidéo analogique et numérique sur la prise DVI-I femelle
du switch KVM, et réaliser ainsi une utilisation Dual Head (1x analogique & 1x
numérique). Dans ce cas, du côté des 2 écrans : un câble splitter DVI-I N° Art.
41008 sera utilisé pour départager les signaux DVI-I. Côté ordinateur, un câble
splitter DVI-I N° Art. 41008 sera aussi utilisé, à condition que la carte graphique
permette l’émission de deux signaux vidéo depuis deux prises : DVI et VGA
(numérique et analogique).

Addendum per Manuale d’uso Italiano
Questo addendum contiene informazioni supplementari al manuale dei KVM
Switch Single Head e Single Link Art. 32322 e 32323. Troverete specifiche e
funzioni in merito alla funzione Dual Head e Dual Link, tutte le altre caratteristiche
di questi KVM switch sono identiche a quelle delle versioni Single Link come
descritto nei manuali precedenti.
Entrambe le versioni da due o quattro porte Dual Head supportano risoluzioni
Single Link fino a 1920x1200 (WUXGA) e Dual Link fino a 2560x1600 (WQXGA).
Nel caso in cui utilizzate risoluzioni miste Single Link e Dual Link assicuratevi che
ci siano installati i driver più recenti.
E’ possibile collegare monitor sia digitali che analogici VGA per ottenere un KVM
switch Dual Head with one Digital and one Analogue monitor connected if
required. In questo caso serviranno degli adattatori addizionali per separare i
segnali DVI-D e VGA, potete utilizzare il cavo/splitter Art. 41008 DVI-I a DVI-D e
VGA e prolunghe VGA come gli Art. 37390 (0.5m) o 37391 (1m).
Nota Bene: se avete monitor con sue ingressi separate per segnali analogici
(VGA) e digitali (DVI-D) dovrete utilizzare il cavo/splitter DVI-I a DVI-D e VGA Art.
41008 per collegare ogni monitor. Allo stesso modo se avete una scheda video
con uscite separate per segnali DVI-D e VGA dovrete utilizzare sempre l’Art.
41008. Il KVM Switch non ha la funzione di convertire segnali video, è in grado
però di selezionare tra segnali analogici e digitali simultaneamente su ogni porta.
