Installation CD into the appropriate
drive and in the Welcome screen
which appears, complete the following

In the Disconnect the Modem from the
PC screen, complete the following
steps:

1 Ensure you have disconnected all
cables that connect your modem
to the PC.

In the Connect the Modem to the
Router screen, complete the following
steps:

1 Ensure you have plugged the
phone cable from the wall socket
into the line port of the modem.

In the Connect the Gateway to a PC
screen, complete the following steps:

1 Connect one end of the Ethernet
cable to the PC.

1 Connect the other end of the
Ethernet cable to one of the
Gateway’s ports numbered 1 - 4.

In the Power on the Gateway screen,
complete the following steps:

1 Connect the power adapter into
the gateway power port. Plug the
other end into an electrical outlet..
Ensure the power switch on the
back of the modem is switched
on.

To connect your phone handset to the gateway to use the VOIP service, plug the phone
handset cable into one of the Phone ports.

In the Check the Gateway’s Status
screen, complete the following steps:

1 Ensure the following lights are lit
on the modem:
1. Power
2. DSL
3. Ethernet: 1,2 3 or 4
At least one of the Ethernet LED
lights for 1,2,3 or 4 needs to be
lit.
