With the PC running, insert the
Installation CD into the appropriate
drive and in the Welcome screen
which appears, complete the following
step:

In the Disconnect the Modem from the
PC screen, complete the following
steps:

1 Ensure you have disconnected all
cables that connect your modem
to the PC.

Router screen, complete the following
steps:

1 Ensure you have plugged the
phone cable from the wall socket
into the line port of the modem.

In the Connect the Gateway to a PC
screen, complete the following steps:

1 Connect one end of the Ethernet
cable to the PC.

In the Connect the Gateway to a PC
screen, complete the following steps:

1 Connect the other end of the
Ethernet cable to one of the
Gateway’s ports numbered 1 - 4.

In the Power on the Gateway screen,
complete the following steps:

1 Connect the power adapter into
the gateway power port. Plug the
other end into an electrical outlet..
Ensure the power switch on the
back of the modem is switched
on.

To connect your phone handset to the gateway to use the VOIP service, plug the phone
handset cable into one of the Phone ports.

In the Check the Gateway’s Status
screen, complete the following steps:

1 Ensure the following lights are lit
on the modem:
1. Power
2. DSL
3. Ethernet: 1,2 3 or 4
At least one of the Ethernet LED
lights for 1,2,3 or 4 needs to be
lit.

settings, screen is complete.

In the Configure DSL screen, complete
the following steps:

1 Enter the [email protected]
in the User ID field.
Refer to the Settings Page on our
website for the username format.

2 Enter the password in the
Password field.
Refer to the Settings Page on our
website for the password format.

Configuring User Details
In the Set the Gateway’s Password
screen, complete the following steps:

1Enter the new password in the
Password field.

2Reenter the new password in the
Confirm field.
Note: This changes the password
to access the modem from the
manufacturers default settings.
Once the new password is set the
password ‘admin’ will be invalid.

Disabling Wireless
In the Wireless Settings screen,
complete the following steps:

1 In the Network Mode drop down
menu select Disabled.

menu select Mixed.

menu select the appropriate
security.

security mode is best for your

maximum of 13 characters in the
Passphrase field.
