1 The Regulation of Safe Usage:
(1) Before Connecting to Loads:
Individual channel must be set dimming or switch function before turning on.
The non-dimming lamp may be damaged in dimming function.
(2) Dimming Output:
DX-1210/DX-1220/DX-1220AF/DX-1230/DX-630/DX-640 are leading-edge dimmers.
DX-1210T is a trailing-edge dimmer.
Some loads/lamps might not compatible to leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer. Please
check the manual of the load before connecting.
(3) Maximum Capacity-1:
For testing (about 30 minutes)
DX-1210/DX-1210T: Maximum output of individual channel is 10A;
DX-1220/DX-1220AF: Maximum output of individual channel is 25A;
DX-1230: Maximum output of individual channel is 30A:
For testing (about 10 minutes)
DX-630: Maximum output of individual channel is 30A;
DX-640: Maximum output of individual channel is 40A:
(4) Maximum Capacity-2:
For several hours usage (theater or stage)

Thermal-controlled fan
When the internal temperature is over 34℃, the fans start to work 1 minute and stop 1 minute in turn;
over 37℃, the fans turn on continuously; over 63℃, all output will be stopped until the temperature

3-1 Installation
DX-1210 is composed of 12 pieces of P-10.
DX-1210T is composed of 12 pieces of P-10T.
DX-1220/DX-1220AF is composed of 12 pieces of P-27/P-27AF.
DX-1230 is composed of 12 pieces of P-30.
DX-630 is composed of 6 pieces of P-30A.
DX-640 is composed of 6 pieces of P-40A.
All models come with a DP-5 (control interface).

4 Operations
4-1 Modes
DX-1220/DX-1220AF series offer 3 operation modes:
1. DMX mode
2. Analog mode
3. OFF mode
4-1-1 DMX Mode
In DMX mode, DX-1210/1220/1220AF/1230/630/640 will accept DMX-512 signal input or analog 0 -
10VDC signal.
Press "MODE" key to choose DMX mode, the LED will display the selected address of DMX as follows,
and then press "SEL" key to confirm.

4-1-2 Analog Mode
In the analog mode, DX-1220/DX-1220AF will only accept analog signal input.
Press "MODE" key to choose Analog mode, the LED will display as follows, and then press "SEL" to
confirm.

4-1-3 OFF Mode
In the OFF mode, DX-1210/1210T/1220/1220AF/1230/630/640 will not accept any external signal.
Press "MODE" key to choose OFF mode, the LED will be display as follows,
and then press "SEL" to confirm.

4-2 DMX Address Setting
Press "MODE" key to choice DMX mode, and then press the assist key to confirm the start address of
DMX channels.
Assist Keys:
Press【►】: Increase channel number
e.g.: Led display from d 0 0 1 to d 0 0 2.
Press【◄】: Decrease channel number
e.g.: Led display from d 0 0 2 to d 0 0 1.
Press【▲】:
DX-1210/1210T/1220/1220AF/1230 increases 12 channel number。
e.g.
:
d 0 0 1 becomes d 0 1 3
DX-630/640 increases 6 channel number。
e.g.
:
d 0 0 1 becomes d 0 07
Press【▼】:Restore back to d 0 0 1.
Press【SEL】: Select/confirm
4-3 How to Connect Over 2 Sets of DX-1220/DX-1220AF Series
Important:
When multiple DMX-512 dimmer connected in daisy chain, the terminate switch on last dimmer
should turn on. The terminate switches on rest dimmer should turn off.

4-4 Lock/Unlock
LOCK: Press 【FNC】+【MODE】+【▲】
UNLOCK: Press 【FNC】+【MODE】+【▼】
4-5 FUN (FUNCTION)
Press "FNC" key in turn and the LED will display 5 functions as follows:
(1) Display dimming level.
(2) Dimming output test.
(3) Fade in/ fade out test.
(4) Display voltage input.
(5) Display internal temperature.

Please turn off DMX signal input and analog signal input before using this function.

4-5-4 Display Voltage Input
The function is to display AC voltage input.

4-5-5 Display Internal Temperature
..
When the internal temperature is over 34°C , the fans start to work 1 minute and stop 1 minute
in turn.
When the internal temperature is over 37°C , the fans turn on continuously.
When the internal temperature is over 63°C , all output will be stopped until the temperature is
under 60°C . In this case, please check whether the dimmer is overloaded.
4-6 SET Functions
Press "SET" key in turn and the LED will display 5 functions as follows:
1. Dimmer warm-up 0% - 6.0%.
2. Dimming or switch (non-dim) modes
3. Fader time: 0.1 SEC - 30 MIN.
4. Dimming curves.
5. Maximum wattage limit setting
4-6-1 Dimmer Warm-up

Warm-up function of a channel will be invalid if the channel is set to switch mode (non-dim) .

4-6-2 Dimming/ Switch Modes
Make sure dimming/switching mode is correctly set before turning on the power.
Never set dim on the channel with a non-dimmable loads..
All channels are in dimming mode.
All channels are in switch mode.
Some channels are dimming; some channels are switch.
Press【►】: Increase channel number
Press【◄】: Decrease channel number
Press【▲】: Switch (non-dim);
Press【▼】: Dimming
Press【SEL】: Select/confirm
