The dimming/non-dimming (switch) mode should be preset before the lamps/loads being connected to
the devices. Please refer to “Dimmer/Switch Mode Setting” in this manual.
2. Current Loading Precaution:.
Please keep adequate ventilation. If the machine’s internal temperature is over 65°C, the device will
stop output.
The maximum output of each channel is 4A. The maximum output of the 6 channels in total is 8A .
3. Instruction of power/ load wiring:
Connector size range AWG 22-14
Use Copper Conductors Only, 60/75C, Tighten To 12 pound-inches.
4. Suggested Environment:

2 Operations
2-0 EDX System
EDX is a protocol specifically designed for architectural and environmental lighting applications. EDX
dimmers or devices are able to store scenes in themselves.
Each EDX device or ECP panel can be specified by a zone number. The scenes stored in EDX devices
can be recalled by ECP panels with the same zone number.
For example, EDX devices configured as zone 1 can be controlled (recall scenes) by ECP panel
configure as zone 1. EDX devices configured as zone 5 can be controlled (recall scenes) by ECP
panel configure as zone 5.

ECP scene panel 2 controls EDX device 2.
* If there are both DMX-512 and EDX signal present, DMX-512 signal has the highest priority.

2-5 Partition Setting
Generally, all channels on EDX-607 can be set to only 1 zone.
To make EDX-607 more flexible, you can assign each channel on EDX-607 to different zones by using
partition function.
For example, you assign channel 1 –3 on EDX-607 to partition 1 and channel 4 –6 on EDX-607 to
partition 2. There are 2 control panels (ECP-106) connected to EDX-607, one is set to zone 1; the
other is set to zone 2. If scenes are recalled by ECP-106 of zone 1, only channel 1 –3 on EDX-607 will
change their dimming levels. If scenes are recalled by ECP-106 of zone 2, only channel 4 –6 on
EDX-607 will change their dimming levels. However, if scenes are recalled by EDX-607’s panel directly,
the dimming levels of channel 1 –6 will be all changed.
STEP-1: Hold【FCN】for 3 seconds to enter function menu and then press【FCN】12 times until the
screen shows .
STEP-2: Press【▲】to enable partition function, the screen shows
STEP-3: Hold【FCN】for 3 seconds to enter function menu and then press【FCN】12 times until the
screen shows .
STEP-4: Press【】or【】to select partition no. and press【CH1- CH12 UP】to select channels to
partition; press【CH1- CH12 DOWN】to cancel channels out of partition.
