After switching on for the first time, you will be guided through the initial installation with the help of a wizard.
There you make the following settings:
•Language selection
•Internet connection
•Country selection
•General terms and conditions and data protection regulations
•Alphonso Enhanced Viewing (artificial intelligence, which optimises the picture and sound settings by evaluating the
current source) -> optional
•VIDAA account (additional functions, e.g. Alexa voice control possible) -> optional
•Assign TV name with which the TV is to be displayed in the network
•Connection with Netflix
•Select input source

The Loewe os7, which is used from the bild i onwards, has a
different look than the previous systems. Nevertheless, parallels
can be seen again and again.
The start menu as the central overview page is called up via the
start menu button on the remote control.
In the menu, you can search for content, manage input sources
or make system settings.
The start menu is divided into four sections:
•Top menu
•List of recommendations
•List of apps
•Additional lines

-The first button opens the keyword search. This can be
used to search for keywords across applications.
-Under the second item "Sources", the input sources can
be selected or renamed. Here you have access to locally
connected devices (HDMI inputs, USB/UPnP devices).
-The next step are the system settings (3.). Here the
configuration menu opens with setting options for picture,
sound and network. The system settings can also be
called up in each source via "MENU" -> "Settings".
-The TV set can be linked to a VIDAA account via the
"Profile information" button (4.).

List of recommendations
The second line shows a list of recommendations
for the currently selected application.
Note: The recommendation list is not displayed
for all applications.

List of apps
The third line lists the favourite apps.
The "My Apps" tile gives access to the library with all
installed apps. Additional apps can be installed via the
App Store.
Add applications to the Start menu:
Open “My Apps" -> select the desired app -> press the
"Settings" button -> select the "Sort" option -> confirm by
pressing OK.
-Use the arrow keys on the remote control to move the
apps in the list.
-Move the desired app to a position in the upper row
and confirm with OK.
-The app now appears in the start menu

Recommendations from all installed apps are
displayed in the bottom rows.

The electronic programme guide (EPG) can be accessed
in two different ways:
•Via the EPG button on the remote control
•Via Menu -> Programme Guide

The structure of the EPG is similar to the programme guide
on Chassis SL5.
•Preview picture of the current programme in the
upper left corner
•Short description of the programme to the right of
the preview picture.
•Channel list with programme information of the
selected source.
•Current programmes are highlighted by lighter
fields.
•The vertical white line indicates the current time of
the running programmes
•The genre of the respective event is indicated by
colour. The colours are explained at the top right
and can be configured individually with the green
colour button.

Pressing the Red button on the remote control opens the
schedule screen.
Pressing the Yellow button opens the programme list of the
previous day.
The Blue button shows the programme list of the next day.

You can obtain detailed information about the desired
programme by pressing the OK button on the remote control.
Here, in addition to direct programme selection, you also have
the option of programming a reminder or a recording on the
Loewe bild i's integrated hard disk.
Reminder:
•Reminders for programmes that have not yet been broadcast
can be saved.
•The TV then asks whether the channel should be changed
accordingly or switched on from standby mode at the
beginning of the desired programme.
•To set a reminder, press "Reminder" and confirm with OK.
•A reminder symbol now appears in the EPG behind the title of
the programme.

Recording:
•For a recording, select the option "DR+" and press the OK
key.
•Here, the timer data, such as start and end time, can also
be checked again and adjusted.
•You can also specify that the recording should be
repeated.
•As soon as a recording has been programmed, a
recording symbol appears in the EPG behind the title of
the programme.

•To start a recording, select "MENU" -> "DR+".
•Alternatively, a long press on the PLAY/PAUSE button (1) switches the
remote control's directional pad to navigation keys.
•By pressing the upper cursor key (2), a recording can be programmed
directly.
•You can get an overview of all recordings via "MENU" -> "Recordings".
•Scheduled recordings and reminders can be deleted at any time using the
"Edit" button. To delete a programming, select it and press the right cursor
button.
•Viewing recordings:
•In the menu via cursor left
•In the on-screen menu under the "Recordings" menu item
•Delete recordings: Select "Edit" -> select the entries to be
deleted -> use the cursor on the right to delete them.
•To play back a recording: Press the OK button

The Loewe bild i is equipped with an integrated hard disk and the "Permanent Timeshift" function as
standard.
After each programme change, the programme is automatically recorded directly in the background so that it can
be rewound at any time.
•Press the PLAY/PAUSE button or the left/right cursor to pause the live TV picture at any time.
•Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button again resumes playback.
•Cursor left/right: current playback position is displayed
•The virtual buttons can be used to pause, resume, fast-forward and rewind again
•Move the cursor to the time bar and select the playback position via cursor left/right.
•STOP button: End Timeshift
•Record button: Start recording
Note: By pressing and holding the PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote control, the control ring turns into drive
buttons that can also be used to rewind, pause, stop or start a recording. In this mode, the control ring is
illuminated with the respective symbols.
