Explanation of two Symbols
The lightning flash with arrowheadsymbol, within an
equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage“within the
product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance(servicing) instructions in
the literature accompanying the appliance.
THE GRAPHIC SYMBOLS WITH SUPPLEMENTAL MARKING ARE ON
THE BOTTOM OF THE SYSTEM.

INTRODUCTION:
Thank you for purchasing the 2.4 GHz Wireless B&W Video System.
This is an ideal solution for monitoring your business or home, or for
safeguarding your valuables. The package contains a 5.5” B&W
Monitor, and 1 wireless B&W camera.
The system allows you to automatically scan between locations with the
convenience of connecting up to 4 cameras. (additional cameras sold
separately). Use the Listen-in Audio feature to pick up sound within a
specific location. Avoiding the hassle of running wires, this system is
easy to install and operate for your immediate security applications.
The RCA audio/video outputs also allow you to connect a time lapse
VCR or standard VCR for recording purposes.

Location of Receiver Monitor controls
1. 2.4GHz Antenna -High gain dipole patch antenna receives audio
and video signal from the camera.
2. CRT -5.5”Diagonal Screen
3. Brightness Control –Allows you to adjust the brightness of the picture
4. Channel Selector -Switches between channel 1-4 / AUTO selection.
5. Auto/Manual Button -Allows you to switch from AUTO mode to the
MANUAL mode
(a) Push this button for the Auto mode, sequences between cameras 1-4
(b) When the Manual mode is selected, press the channel button to see
each channel
6. Audio Mute Button –Push this button to mute the sound on the monitor
7. Volume Control –Turn this dial to adjust the volume on the monitor
8. ON/OFF Switch –Used to switch the power on the monitor ON or OFF
9. Speaker -Emits sound from the camera location
10. DC Input Jack –Connect to the supplied 13.8V DC 1.0A AC adapter.
11. Audio Output Jack -RCA jack for Audio output connection
12. Video Output Jack -RCA jack for Video output connection
13. Contrast Control –Allows you to adjust the contrast of the picture

CAMERA CONTROLS
1. Microphone –Built-in condenser microphone provides listen-in audio
capability from camera to monitor
2. Lens –B&W CMOS Image Sensor
3. 6 Infrared LED’s–Enhances the picture quality in low light conditions
4. Channel Selector Switch –Slide switch for channels 1-4
5. ON/OFF Power Switch –Controls power to the camera. Note: Please
ensure that you set the switch to the OFF position before plugging the
AC adapter into the unit
6. Battery Compartment –Optional 4 “AA” batteries (not included) can
be used to power the camera
7. Bracket –Metal bracket connects to camera for mounting to walls,
ceilings or table
8. DC IN Jack –Connects to the 9V DC (500mA) adapter.
9. 2.4GHz Antenna –High gain dipole antenna sends audio and video
signals to the monitor

CAMERA INSTALLATION
1. Attach the stand base to the wall or ceiling where you want to install the
camera. Locate a wall stud or ceiling, and secure the bracket using the
four supplied screws.
2. Attach the camera to the stand and firmly tighten the swivel.
3. Attach the camera with the stand to the stand base, and firmly tighten the
joint knob on the stand base.
4. Connect the supplied 9V 500mA DC adapter to the DC IN jack at the rear
of the camera, and plug it into the electrical outlet.

1. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC INPUT JACK at the rear of
the receiver monitor and plug it into the 120V electrical outlet.
Ensure the power switch on the monitor and camera are set to
the OFF position before proceeding with the following steps.

OPERATION
Camera
(1) Connect the power adapter to the camera power input and ensure the
camera is turned “ON”. Ensure the camera is set to channel 1.
Monitor
(1) Connect the supplied power adaptor to the power input of the monitor.
(2) Use the channel selection switch button and ensure the monitor is set
to the same channel as the camera to view the picture. Note: If you
experience transmission reception problems (eg. poor picture), you
may need to select another channel on the camera and monitor
and/or adjust the antennas on the monitor and camera to ensure they
are pointing at each other.
(3) Adjust the volume to the desired level. You may also mute the audio
option by pressing the mute button which is located at the front of the
monitor.
(4) Adjust the brightness and contrast level as required
Try to position both the Camera and Monitor as high off the ground as
possible for better picture reception
NOTE
ADDITIONAL CAMERA CONNECTION
This video security system allows you to view up to four different camera
locations. Additional cameras are sold separately, please refer to
www strategicvista.com for more information.
When connecting more than one camera to the monitor/camera system,
you will need to set each camera to a different channel (Channels 1-4).
