Sehr geehrter Kunde,
vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen in dieses LRP Produkt. Sie haben sich mit dem Kauf dieses
LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus für einen Akku der Spitzenklasse entschieden.
Bitte lesen Sie folgende Informationen um sicherzustellen, dass Ihr Akku stets zu Ihrer
vollsten Zufriedenheit funktioniert.
LiPo-Akkus bedürfen einer sehr aufmerksamen Behandlung und Pflege. Bitte lesen
Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie Ihren LRP Ultimate Drift
Hardcase LiPo Akku das erste Mal einsetzen. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für den
Einbau, die Sicherheit, den Gebrauch und die Wartung des Produkts. Dadurch schützen
Sie sich und verhindern Schäden am Produkt.
Gehen Sie weiter nach der Gebrauchsanweisung vor, um Ihren LRP Ultimate Drift Hard-
case LiPo Akku richtig kennen zu lernen. Bitte nehmen Sie sich diese Zeit, denn Sie
werden viel mehr Freude an Ihrem Akku haben, wenn Sie ihn genau kennen.
Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung auf und geben Sie sie an einen eventuellen
Nachbesitzer weiter.
1. DRIFT-SPEC AKKU
Mit dem LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack präsentiert Ihnen LRP erstmal eine
Akku, der optimal auf den Einsatz in Drift-Cars zugeschnitten ist. Der Akku ist leicht, hat
trotzdem eine hohe Kapazität für lange Fahrzeiten und liefert Ihnen über die gesamte
Kapazität eine exzellente Power. Somit schafft der LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase
Pack die idealen Voraussetzungen dafür, daß Ihrem Auto während eines packenden
Drift-Rennen nicht die Puste ausgeht.
2. Anschlüsse
Der LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack ist mit 4mm Power-Buchsen ausgerüstet,
an denen je nach Bedarf unterschiedliche Power-Adapterkabel angeschlossen werden
können (siehe Punkt 3. Multi Plug System). Die beiden 4mm Buchsen sind sowohl farb-
lich gekennzeichnet, als auch entsprechend beschriftet (ROT -> Plus-Pol / SCHWARZ
-> Minus-Pol). Bitte achten Sie stets auf die korrekte Polarität, um Folgeschäden an
Akku und Fahrzeugelektronik zu vermeiden. Dieser Anschluss wird dafür verwendet,
die einzelnen Zellen in einem Akkupack wieder aneinander anzugleichen. Für die nor-
male Verwendung des Akkupacks wird der Balancer Anschluss nicht benötigt. Spezi-
elle Balancer oder auch bestimmte Ladegeräte verwenden diese Anschlüsse, um alle
Einzelzellen im Pack optimal anzugleichen bzw. vollzuladen. Bitte schauen Sie in der
Bedienungsanleitung des Balancers oder des Ladegeräts nach, wie diese angeschlos-
sen und betrieben werden müssen. Wir empfehlen für die perfekte Ladung und Kondi-
tionierung der Akkus unseren LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
HINWEIS: Der Balancer Anschluß darf nicht für die normale Entladung in einem Mo-
dell/Gerät benutzt werden. Hierfür sind ausschließlich die Poweranschlüsse zu verwen-
den.
LRP empfiehlt für die perfekte Pflege Ihrer LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus die
Verwendung des LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION Laders (No. 41556). In Verbin-
dung mit dem 2S LiPo Hardcase Ladekabel (No. 65821) bzw. dem 1S LiPo Hardcase
Ladekabel (No. 65829) und einer LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848) hat ihr Akku immer die
optimale Performance.

3. Multi Plug System MPS
Das neue, innovative LRP Multi Plug System hilft Ihnen schnell und einfach bei der
Wahl eines geeigneten Powersteckers. Statt fest verbauter Stecker verfügt der LRP LiPo
Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack über ein Multi-Steck-System. Egal ob Tamiya-, Traxxas-
oder US-Style-Stecker können die Stecker ohne jegliche Lötarbeiten getauscht werden
und sind somit universell für jeden Steckertyp einsetzbar.
ACHTUNG: Achten Sie beim Wechsel der Powerkabel Adapterstecker unbedingt auf
die richtige Polung!
4. Laden
Durch neue und spezielle Fertigungstechnologien können alle LRP Ultimate Drift Hard-
case LiPo Akkus mit einem maximalen Ladestrom von 3C* geladen werden. Verwen-
den Sie zum Laden nur Lader, die speziell für LiPo-Akkus entwickelt wurden. Diese
laden den Akku zu Beginn bis zum Erreichen der max. Ladespannung mit dem vollen
Ladestrom. Nach Erreichen der max. Ladespannung wird der Ladestrom herunterge-
regelt bis der Akku komplett voll ist. Dieses Ladeverfahren nennt sich CC/CV (Constant
Current/Constant Voltage).
Zum Laden der LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus empfehlen wir unseren LRP
PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
ACHTUNG: NiMH/NiCd Ladegeräte oder Lader, die auf der Einstellung NiMH/NiCd ste-
hen, dürfen auf keinen Fall verwendet werden! Diese Ladegeräte regeln den Ladestrom
nicht ab und führen somit unweigerlich zur Überladung! Benutzen Sie nur Ladegeräte,
die durch eine cut-off Spannung den Ladevorgang selbstständig beenden und speziell
für das Laden von Modellbau-Akkus geeignet sind. Benutzen Sie keine zeitgesteuerten
Ladegeräte.
Beim Ladevorgang erwärmen sich die LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus nicht. Es
ist normal, dass der Akku am Ladeende immer noch Raumtemperatur hat. Sollte sich
der Akku während der Ladung erwärmen oder deformieren, stoppen Sie sofort die La-
dung. Beim Laden von LiPo-Akkus ist ein Balancer, der die Spannungen der Einzelzellen
während der Ladung überwacht, zwingend erforderlich.
ACHTUNG: Laden Sie deshalb niemals ohne angeschlossenen Balancer, sofern Ihr
Ladegerät nicht bereits über diese Funktion verfügt. Laden Sie Ihren Akku immer au-
ßerhalb Ihres Fahrzeugs
Die maximale Ladespannung pro einzelne LiPo-Zelle beträgt 4.20V. Ab dieser Span-
nung muss der Ladestrom reduziert werden. Dies geschieht im Normalfall automatisch
durch den Lader. Bei einem Ladestrom von 0,05 - 0,1C* ist der Akku vollständig gela-
den. Manche LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus bestehen aus mehreren Einzel-
zellen. Die maximale Ladespannung können Sie aus der untenstehenden Tabelle ent-
nehmen. Wir schreiben die folgenden Einstellungen zum Laden unserer LRP Ultimate
Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus vor:

BITTE BEACHTEN: Sie können unsere LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus beliebig
oft am Tag laden. Achten Sie allerdings darauf, dass der Akku vor dem Ladebeginn auf
Umgebungstemperatur abgekühlt ist.
LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus haben keinen Memory Effekt und nahezu kei-
ne Selbstentladung. Sie können also auch halb angeladene Akkupacks ganz normal
laden, ohne vorher den Akkupack komplett zu entladen. Angeladene Akkus können
ohne Probleme über einen längeren Zeitraum gelagert werden, ohne dabei Schaden
zu nehmen. Siehe hierzu auch den Punkt „Lagerung“.
* C=Nennkapazität des Akkus. Bei einer Nennkapazität von z.B. 7000mAh (7.0 Ah) kann
der Akku also max. mit einem Ladestrom von 21.0A geladen werden.
5. Entladen
Alle LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus können kurzfristig bis zu einem maximalen
Entladestrom von 80C (80C/40C Typen) belastet werden. Die spezielle Fertigungstech-
nologie der LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo Akkus macht diese hohen Entladeströme
möglich.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Temperatur Ihres Akkus nicht unter 18°C (65°F) liegt, wenn
Sie ihn in Ihrem Model betreiben wollen. Die hohen Entlade-Ströme schaden der Per-
formance und der Lebensdauer Ihres Akkus bei solch niedrigen Temperaturen.
Bitte beachten: Bei einer Entladung mit hohen Strömen ist unbedingt auf eine gute
Kühlung des Akkus zu achten.
Sie müssen darauf achten, dass die Akkus nicht tiefentladen werden. Sobald die Ak-
kuspannung der einzelnen LiPo-Zellen unter 3.3V pro Zelle sinkt, wird der Akku unwi-
derruflich beschädigt. Die Entladeschlußspannung der 2S Packs beträgt hierbei unter
Belastung 6.6V. Die Entladeschlußspannung bei 1S Packs beträgt unter Belastung 3.3V.
Die Entladeschlußspannung bei 3S Packs beträgt unter Belastung 9.9V. Unter keinen
Umständen dürfen diese Werte unterschritten werden. Sofern Ihr Regler keine spezielle
Unterspannungsabschaltung für LiPo-Akkus besitzt, müssen Sie früh genug ihr Modell
stoppen damit die Akkus nicht tiefentladen werden. Stoppen Sie also, sobald Sie einen
rapiden Leistungsverlust bemerken.
WICHTIG: Die maximale Temperatur des LiPo-Akkus darf beim Entladen 65°C nicht
überschreiten.
HINWEIS: Sollten sich die Akkus nach der Entladung aufblähen oder dick werden,
so ist dies ein Zeichen für eine Überlastung und/oder Tiefentladung des Akkus. Der
Akku wird hierdurch geschädigt und die max. Leistung nimmt ab. Aufgeblähte Akkus
sind kein Produktmangel und somit von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

6. Hinweise zur Handhabung
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Abschaltspannung Ihres Fahrtenreglers gemäß dem ein-
gesetzen Akku eingestellt ist. Eine falsch eingestellte Abschaltspannung kann zur
Tiefentladung des Akkus führen und somit zu seiner unwiderruflichen Beschädi-
gung.
• Vermeiden Sie Kurzschlüsse! Kurzschlüsse verursachen sehr hohe Ströme, die
das Innenleben von LiPo-Akkus beschädigen. Hierdurch verliert der LiPo-Akku an
Leistung und Kapazität.
• Laden Sie LiPo-Akkus niemals ohne Balancer. Das Laden ohne Balancer kann zu
Beschädigungen des Akkus führen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei nicht Verwendung
eines Balancers Ihre Gewährleistung erlischt.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Aussenhaut des LiPo-Akkus nicht beschädigen. Der
Akku ist nur durch einen Schrumpfschlauch geschützt. Direkt darunter befindet sich
die eigentliche LiPo-Zelle. Wenn die Aussenhaut der LiPo-Zelle beschädigt wird,
macht dies den Akku unbrauchbar. Achten Sie also unbedingt darauf, dass keine
scharfen Gegenstände wie Messer, Werkzeuge, Kohlefaserkanten oder Ähnliches
das Hardcase und die darin befindlichen LiPo-Zellen beschädigen können.
• Beim Einbau in Ihr Modell müssen Sie darauf achten, dass auch bei einem Absturz
oder Crash der LiPo-Akku nicht beschädigt oder verformt werden kann. LiPo-Akkus
sind mechanisch nicht so stabil wie normale NiMH-Akkus in Metallgehäusen. Ach-
ten Sie also darauf, dass der Akku nicht durch Herunterfallen, Schlagen, Verbiegen
oder Ähnliches beschädigt wird.
• Laden Sie nicht mehrere Akkupacks zusammen an einem Ladegerät. Die unter-
schiedlichen Ladezustände und Kapazitäten können zur Überladung der Packs füh-
ren, auch wenn Sie einen LiPo-fähigen Lader einsetzen.
• Beschädigte Zellen dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden. Sollten die Zellen Verfor-
mungen, optische Beschädigungen oder Ähnliches aufweisen, so dürfen Sie diese
nicht mehr verwenden.
• Die chemische Reaktion beim Laden und Entladen von LiPo-Akkus ist nicht zu 100%
reversibel. Aus diesem Grund verlieren LiPo-Akkus über Ihre Lebensdauer an Kapa-
zität. Dies ist normal und kein Produktions-/Materialfehler.
ENTSORGUNGSHINWEIS: Beschädigte oder unbrauchbare Zellen sind Sondermüll
und müssen entsprechend entsorgt werden.
7. Lagerung !!!
Für eine Lagerung über einen längeren Zeitraum empfehlen wir, die Akkus mit ca. 50%
der Gesamtkapazität anzuladen. In der Praxis hat sich hierfür bei einem leeren Akku
eine Anladung mit 1C Ladestrom für ca. 30 Minuten oder das Laden auf eine Spannung
von 3.85-3.90V/Zelle bewährt. In diesem Zustand kann der Akku mind. 3 Monate bei
einer Raumtemperatur von 25°C gelagert werden, ohne eine weitere Anladung. Wenn
die Akkus länger gelagert werden sollen, so laden und entladen Sie die Akkus einmal
alle 3 Monate und laden Sie sie dann wieder auf die Lagerspannung von 3.85-3.90V/
Zelle an. Dieses Vorgehen empfehlen wir auch, wenn Sie die Akkus das erste mal nach
2-3 Monaten Lagerzeit (oder länger) wieder benutzen wollen.
ACHTUNG: LAGERN SIE IHREN AKKU NIEMALS KOMPLETT ENTLADEN ODER KOM-
PLETT VOLLGELADEN. Beide Ladezuständen schädigen den Akku und führen zum
Aufblähen der Zellen. Ein komplett vollgeladener Akku hat die gleichen, negativen
Auswirkungen bei Lagerung wie ein komplett entladener Akku.
Wenn Sie den Akku regelmäßig jede Woche einsetzen, sollten sie immer mind. 30%
der Gesamtkapazität im Akku haben. Wenn Sie den Akku im Einsatz komplett entladen
haben, laden Sie auf alle Fälle den Akku wieder an, bevor Sie ihn weglegen. Eine Anla-
dung mit 1C Ladestrom für ca. 20 Minuten ist in diesem Fall ausreichend.
Zur Aufbewahrung der Akkus empfehlen wir die LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848). Wenn
Sie diese Punkte beachten, werden Sie sehr lange Spaß an Ihrem LRP Ultimate Drift
Hardcase LiPo Akku haben.
8. Wissenswertes über Lipo Akkus
• Lipo Akkus dürfen nur bei einer Raumtemperatur von 0-45°C geladen werden. Wird
dies nicht beachtet hat dies eine drastische Verkürzung der Lebensdauer zur Folge.
• Die Einzelzellenspannung eines vollgeladenen Lipo Akkus liegt ohne Belastung bei
4.2V. Die Einzelzellenspannung eines zu 50% vollgeladenen Lipo Akkus liegt ohne
Belastung bei ca. 3.85V. Die Einzelzellenspannung eines vollständig entladenen Lipo
Akkus liegt ohne Belastung bei ca. 3.3V.
• Ohne Belastung ist eine Spannung unter 3.3V pro Zelle für einen Lipo Akku in jedem
Fall schädlich. Vermeiden Sie deshalb Spannungen unter 3.3V pro Zelle.
• Wird ein Lipo Akku überladen, so ist dies außer durch die Kontrolle der Spannung
von außen nicht erkennbar. Der Akku wird bei Überladung weder warm, noch bläht
er sich auf. Achten Sie deshalb beim Laden immer auf die Akkuspannung. Sollte
diese den maximalen Wert überschreiten stoppen Sie sofort die Ladung und über-
prüfen Sie alle Einstellungen.
• Wir empfehlen, die Entladung von Lipo Akkus bei einer Restkapazität von 30% der
Nennkapazität zu stoppen. Somit erreichen LiPo-Akkus ihre maximale Lebensdauer.
In der Praxis hat sich gezeigt, dass LiPo-Akkus schneller altern, wenn man Sie immer
vollständig entlädt. Dies ist ein Phänomen, welches bei jedem LiPo-Akku zu sehen
ist.
Allgemeine Gewährleistungs- und Reparaturbestimmungen
Produkte der LRP electronic GmbH (nachfolgend „LRP” genannt) werden nach
strengsten Qualitätskriterien gefertigt. Wir gewähren die gesetzliche Gewährleistung
auf Produktions- und Materialfehler, die zum Zeitpunkt der Auslieferung des Produkts
vorhanden waren. Für gebrauchstypische Verschleißerscheinungen wird nicht gehaf-
tet. Diese Gewährleistung gilt nicht für Mängel, die auf eine unsachgemäße Benutzung,
mangelnde Wartung, Fremdeingriff oder mechanische Beschädigung zurückzuführen
sind. Dies gilt insbesondere bei bereits benutzten Akkus oder Akkus, die deutliche
Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen. Schäden oder Leistungseinbußen aufgrund von Fehlbe-
handlung und/oder Überlastung sind kein Produktfehler. Abnutzungserscheinungen
(Kapazitätsverlust) bei intensivem Einsatz sind ebenfalls kein Produktfehler.
Folgende Punkte führen ebenfalls eine Bearbeitungspauschale seitens LRP nach sich:
• Original-Anschlussstecker durch ein NICHT verpolungssicheres Stecksystem ersetzt
(Stickpack).
• Anbringung eines nicht verpolungssicheren Stecksystems (Wettbewerbsakkus).
• Einsendung ohne Anschlussstecker.
• Entfernter oder beschädigter Original-Schrumpfschlauch.
Bevor Sie dieses Produkt zur Reparatur einsenden, prüfen Sie bitte zunächst alle an-
deren Komponenten in ihrem Modell und schauen Sie ggf. in der Fehlerfibel des Pro-
duktes (sofern vorhanden) nach, um andere Störquellen und Bedienfehler auszuschlie-
ßen. Sollte das Produkt bei der Überprüfung durch unsere Serviceabteilung keine
Fehlfunktion aufweisen, müssen wir Ihnen hierfür die angefallenen Bearbeitungskosten
laut Preisliste berechnen.
Mit der Einsendung des Produktes muss der Kunde mitteilen, ob das Produkt in jedem
Fall repariert werden soll. Sollte kein Gewährleistungs- oder Garantieanspruch beste-
hen, erfolgt die Produktüberprüfung und ggf. Reparatur in jedem Falle kostenpflichtig
gemäß unserer Preisliste. Ein Gewährleistungs- oder Garantieanspruch kann nur aner-
kannt werden, sofern eine Kopie des Kaufbelegs beigefügt ist. Auf Ihre ausdrückliche
Anforderung erstellen wir einen kostenpflichtigen Kostenvoranschlag. Wenn Sie nach
Zusendung des Kostenvoranschlags den Auftrag zur Reparatur erteilen, entfallen die
Kostenvoranschlagskosten. An unseren Kostenvoranschlag sind wir zwei Wochen ab
Ausstellungsdatum gebunden. Für eine schnelle Abwicklung Ihres Servicefalls legen
Sie bitte eine ausführliche Fehlerbeschreibung und ihre Adressdaten der Einsendung
bei.
Falls ein zurückgesandtes, defektes Produkt von LRP nicht mehr produziert wird, und
wir dieses nicht reparieren können, so erhalten Sie statt dessen ein mindestens gleich-
wertiges Produkt aus einer der Nachfolgeserien.
Die von LRP angegebenen Werte über Gewicht, Größe oder Sonstiges sind als Richt-
wert zu verstehen. LRP übernimmt keine formelle Verpflichtung für derartige spezi-
fische Angaben, da sich durch technische Veränderungen, die im Interesse des Pro-
dukts vorgenommen werden, andere Werte ergeben können.

Dear customer,
thank you for your trust in this LRP product. By purchasing a LRP Ultimate Drift Hardca-
se LiPo battery, you have chosen a high-performance battery for your RC model. Please
read the following instructions to ensure, that your LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo
battery always works up to your full satisfaction.
LiPo-batteries need special treatment and care. Please read the following instructions
carefully before you start using your LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo battery. This user
guide contains important notes for the installation, the safety, the use and the main-
tenance of this product. Thus protecting yourself and avoid damages of the product.
Proceed according to the user guide in order to understand your LRP Ultimate Drift
Hardcase LiPo battery better. Please take your time as you will have much more joy
with your product if you know it exactly.
This user manual shall be kept in a safe place. If another customer is using this pro-
duct, this manual has to be handed out together with it.
1. DRIFT-SPEC AKKU
For the first time, LRP is now presenting the LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack,
which is perfectly optimized for the use in Drift-cars.
The battery is light-weight, but still features a high capacity for long racing-time and
provides excellent power-output over the complete capacity.
Therefore, the LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack creates the ideal conditions for
your cars unmatched performance throughout the complete length of the drift-race.
2. Connections
All LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack have 4mm gold plug sockets built into the
battery pack. Additionally to the 4mm gold plug sockets, all LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift
Hardcase Pack use a 2mm gold plug socket, which acts as a cell connection between
the two cells in the pack. The polarity of the two 4mm sockets is both marked with
colors as well as labelled accordingly (RED -> positive terminal / BLACK -> negative
terminal). Please always watch out for the correct polarity to prevent damaging your
lipo and your car’s electronics. This connection can be used for balancing the cells as-
well. This connection is used for balancing the LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo pack.
Special balancers or certain chargers use this balancing port to perfectly condition
and equalize the individual cells inside the pack. Please check the user manual of the
balancer/charger in order to know how the battery needs to be hooked up. For perfect
charging and conditioning of the batteries, we recommend our LRP PULSAR TOUCH
COMPETITION (No. 41556).
NOTE: The Balancing-port shall not be used for the standard use in the model/device.

For perfect conditioning of your LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo pack, we recommend
the use of our LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION charger (No. 41556). Together with
the 2S LiPo Hardcase charging wire (No. 65821) or the 1S LiPo Hardcase charging wire
(No. 65829) and one of our LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848), your battery will always
have the best possible performance.

3. Multi Plug System MPS
With the new and innovative LRP Multi Plug System, choosing a suitable power con-
nector is easy, fast and convenient. Instead of a fixed plug system, the LRP Multi Plug
System features two universal 4mm sockets. No matter if you want to use a Tamiya-,
Traxxas- or US-style plug system, you can change the plugs without any soldering
work making the LRP Multi Plug System battery packs easy to use for nearly every
plug system.
ATTENTION: Always check the correct polarity of the power wire adapter plug when
changing the power wires.
4. Charging
Due to new and special manufacturing technologies, all LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase
LiPo batteries can be charged with a maximum current of 3C*. For charging, only use
chargers, which are specially designed and developed for LiPo-batteries. These char-
gers charge the battery with the max. current till the battery reaches the max. charging
voltage. The charger then reduces the charging current until the battery is fully char-
ged. This charging method is called CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage).
For charging the LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries, we recommend our LRP
PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
ATTENTION: Under no circumstances use NiMH/NiCd-chargers or chargers, that are
set to NiMH/NiCd mode, for charging LiPo-batteries! These chargers do not reduce the
charging current and therefore ultimately lead to overcharging the battery! Only use
chargers that have an automatic end of charge cut-off and are specially designed for
radio controlled model batteries. Do not use timer chargers.
LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries batteries do not heat up during charging. It
is normal, that the battery still has ambient temperature when it is fully charged. If the
battery heats up during charging or warps, immediately stop charging it. A Balancer
which monitors the voltage of each single cell is mandatory during the charge of LiPo
batteries.
ATTENTION: Never charge your LiPo battery without a balancer directly connected
to the balancing port of your battery, unless your charger is already equipped with a
balancer. Always charge your battery outside of your model!
The maximum charging voltage for each single LiPo-cell is 4.20V. If the battery reaches
this voltage, the charge current has to be lowered. This is automatically done by the
charger. If the charge current reaches 0.05 - 0.1C*, the battery is fully charged. Some
LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries batteries consist of multiple LiPo-cells. You
can see the max. charging voltage in the table below. We advise the following settings
for charging our LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries batteries:

PLEASE NOTE: You can use your LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo battery several
times a day. However be sure, that the battery has completely cooled down to ambient
temperature, before re-charging it again.
LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries batteries do not have a memory effect and
only a very low self-discharge rate. Therefore you can also charge batteries with a par-
tial charge in them, without the need of discharging the pack before. Partially charged
packs can be stored over a long period of time, without getting damaged. Please also
see the „Storage“ section for further reference.
* C=Nominal capacity of the battery. E.g. with a nominal capacity of 7000 mAh (7.0Ah),
the battery can be charged with a max. current of 21.0A.
4. Discharging
All LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries are capable of a maximum peak dischar-
ge current of 80C (40C/80C types). The special manufacturing technology of the LRP
Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo batteries make these high discharge currents possible. Be
sure that the battery temperature is not below 18°C (65°F) if you run it in your model as
the high discharge load will hurt the performance and the cycle life of your battery if it
is below this temperature.
PLEASE NOTE: Always take care that the battery gets enough cooling when discharging
it with high discharge currents.
You have to take care, that the batteries do not get deep discharged. As soon as the
battery voltage falls below 3.3V per single cell, the battery pack gets damaged irre-
vocably. With 2S packs, the discharge cut-off voltage under load is 6.6V. With 1S packs,
the discharge cut-off voltage under load is 3.3V. With 3S packs, the discharge cut-off
voltage under load is 9.9V. The battery voltage should never fall below these discharge
cut-off voltages. If your speed control does not have a special undervoltage protection
for LiPo-batteries, you have to stop your model early enough in order not to deep
discharge the battery pack. Therefore stop immediately as soon as you feel a rapid
loss in power.
IMPORTANT: The max. temperature of the LiPo-battery during discharge must never
exceed 65°C (150°F).
NOTE: If the batteries do swell or get thick after discharging them, it is a sign of
overload and/or deep-discharge. The battery pack gets damaged due to this and the
max. performance will get less. Swollen battery packs are not a product fault and
therefore excluded from the limited warranty.
5. Special notes for handling
• Make sure to set your eletronic speed control cut-off voltage to the correct LiPo

battery voltage, depending on the battery you are using. A wrong cut-off voltage can
lead to deep-discharging the battery, which damages it battery irrevocably.
• Avoid short-circuits! Short-circuiting the battery results in very high currents, which
damage the internal structure of a LiPo-battery. This leads to a loss of power and
capacity.
• Never charge LiPo batteries without a balancer. Charging without a balancer can
damage the battery. Please note, that your limited warranty will void if you charge
without balancer.
• Be sure, not to damage the outside of the LiPo-battery. The battery is only protected
by a heatshrink. The actual Lipo-cell is directly under this heatshrink. If the outer skin
of the cell gets damaged, the battery can no longer be used. Therefore take special
care, that no sharp objects like knifes, tools, carbon fibre edges or similar items can
damage the hardcase and/or the cells within it.
• When securing the LiPo-battery inside your model/device, you have to take care that
the LiPo-battery does not get damaged or warped in case of a crash. LiPo-batteries
are less mechanical resistant then NiMH-batteries in a metal can. Therfore pay spe-
cial attention that the LiPo-battery does not get damaged or warped by letting it fall
down, hitting it, bending it or by similar actions.
• Never charge several LiPo-battery packs at once with one charger. The different
capacities and charge levels can lead to serious overcharging of the battery, even if
you are using a charger with LiPo capabilities.
• Damaged packs cannot be used any longer. If the packs show signs of damage, are
bent or similar, do not use the packs anymore.
• The chemical reaction during charging and discharging a LiPo-battery is not fully
reversible. Due to that, LiPo-batteries loose capacity during their life-span. This is
normal and neither a manufacturing nor production fault.
DISPOSAL NOTE: Damaged packs or packs, which can no longer be used are haza-
rdous waste and have to be disposed of accordingly.
6. Storage !!!
For a storage over a longer period of time, we recommend to charge the battery up
to 50% of the nominal capacity. Therefore fully discharge the battery pack and then
partially charge it with a charge current of 1C for 30 minutes or charge it up to a voltage
of 3.85-3.90V/cell. In this condition, the battery can be stored at least 3 months at 25°C
room temperature without the need of recharging it. If the batteries are stored longer,
be sure to make a complete charge and discharge cycle every 3 months and partial
charge it again for storage. We also recommend this procedure before the first use in a
model after the battery has been stored for 2-3 months or longer.
ATTENTION: NEVER STORE THE BATTERY COMPLETELY EMPTY OR FULLY CHAR-
GED. Both will harm the battery and lead to swollen battery cells. A fully charged
battery will have the same negative effects as a completely discharged battery.
Even if you are using your battery regularly every week, always pay attention that the
battery is partially charged with at least 30% of the nominal capacity during storage.
A partial charge with 1C charge current for 20 minutes is sufficient in this case, if the
battery was competely empty before.
For storing, we recommned to use our LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848). If you pay at-
tention to the above mentioned notes, you can enjoy your LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase
LiPo batteries for a very long time.
7. Interesting facts about Lipo batteries
• LiPo batteries shall only be charged at a temperature between 0-45°C. If this will not
be observed, the cycle life of the battery will be reduced drastically.
• The single cell open circuit voltage of a fully charged LiPo battery is 4.2V. The single
cell open circuit voltage of a 50% partial charged LiPo battery is approx. 3.85V. The
single cell open circuit voltage of an empty LiPo battery is approx. 3.3V.
• A voltage below 3.3V per cell without load is in either case harmful for a LiPo battery.
Therefore always avoid voltages below 3.3V per cell.
• It is not visible from the outside when a LiPo battery gets overcharged. The only
way to find this out is to measure the voltage of the LiPo battery. The battery does
not heat up nor does it swell when it gets overcharged. Therefore always check the
battery voltage during charging. If it exceeds the max. charging voltage stop the
charging process immediately and check all settings.
• We recommend to stop discharging a Lipo battery if the remaining capacity reaches
30% of the nominal capacity. With this, LiPo batteries will have the max. possible cy-
cle life. Real-Life application showed, that the cycle life of LiPo batteries is reduced if
the battery always gets completely discharged. This phenomenon can be seen with
all types of LiPo batteries.
Repair procedures / limited warranty
All products from LRP electronic GmbH (hereinafter called ”LRP“) are manufactured
according to the highest quality standards. LRP guarantees this product to be free from
defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days (non-european countris only) from the
original date of purchase verified by sales receipt. This limited warranty doesn´t co-
ver defects, which are a result of misuse, improper maintenance, outside interference
or mechanical damage. This especially applies on already used batteries or batteries,
which show signs of heavy usage. Damages or output losses due to improper handling
and/or overload are not a product fault. Signs of wear (loss of capacity) after intensive
usage are also no product fault.
The following points do also result in a service fee:
• Original power plugs replaced with a NON reverse polarity protected power plug
system (Stickpacks).
• Use of a non reverse polarity protected power plug system (Competition batteries).
• Send in the battery without power plugs.
• Removed or damaged original heatshrink.
To eliminate all other possibilities or improper handling, first check all other compo-
nents in your model and the trouble shooting guide, if available, before you send in
this product for repair. If products are sent in for repair, which do operate perfectly, we
have to charge a service fee according to our pricelist.
With sending in this product, the customer has to advise LRP if the product should be
repaired in either case. If there is neither a warranty nor guarantee claim, the inspection
of the product and the repairs, if necessary, in either case will be charged with a fee at
the customers expense according to our price list. A proof of purchase including date
of purchase needs to be included. Otherwise, no warranty can be granted. For quick re-
pair- and return service, add your address and detailed description of the malfunction.
If LRP no longer manufactures a returned defective product and we are unable to ser-
vice it, we shall provide you with a product that has at least the same value from one
of the successor series.
The specifications like weight, size and others should be seen as guide values. Due to
ongoing technical improvements, which are done in the interest of the product, LRP
does not take any responsibility for the accuracy of these specs.

tivement ce mode d‘emploi avant d‘utiliser votre accu LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase

1. ACCU DRIFT-SPEC
Pour la première fois, LRP présente un accu LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack, qui a été
parfaitement optimisé pour une utilisation dans une voiture de Drift.
La batterie est légère, mais présente tout de même une autonomie élevée
et une puissance en sortie importante sur toute la durée d’utilisation.
L’accu LiPo LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack vous place donc dans les conditions
idéales pour optimiser les performances de votre voiture pendant toute la durée de
la course.
2. Connexions
Toutes les batteries LiPo LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack ont des prises de 4mm
plaquées or intégrées. En plus des prises de 4mm, tous les accus LiPo LRP Ultimate
Drift Hardcase Pack ont des prises d’équlibrage de 2mm plaquées or intégrées. La po-
larité des 2 prises de 4 mm est indiquée par un code de couleur ainsi qu’un marquage
(ROUGE -> terminal positif / NOIR -> terminal négatif). Veillez à toujours respecter la
bonne polarité pour éviter tous dommages à votre batterie ou à l’électronique de votre
voiture. Cette connexion est utilisée pour équilibrer les cellules individuelles dans un
ensemble dans l’accu. Le raccordement balancer n‘est pas requis pour une utilisation
normale de l’accu.
Des balancer spéciaux ou également certains chargeurs utilisent ces connexions
pour ajuster parfaitement toutes les cellules individuelles dans le pack ou chargent-le
entièrement. S‘il vous plaît respectez le manuel d‘utilisation du balancer ou du char-
geur de l’accu comme exploités. Pour la recharge parfait et le conditionnement des
accus, nous recommandons notre chargeur de compétition, le LRP PULSAR TOUCH
COMPETITION (No. 41556).
REMARQUE: La connexion du balancer ne doit pas être utilisé pour la décharge nor-
male dans une modèle/unité. À cette fin, seules les connexions de puissance doivent
être utilisées.
Pour l’entretien parfait de votre accu LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase, LRP recommande
l’usage de notre chargeur LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556). En combi-
naison avec le câble de chargement boîtier rigide LiPo à 2S (No. 65821) ou le câble de
chargement boîtier rigide LiPo à 1S (no. 65829) et un de notre LRP boîtiers de sécurité
LiPo (No. 65848), le performance de votre accu reste toujours la meilleure.

3. Multi Plug System MPS
Avec le nouveau système innovant LRP Multi Plug System, le choix des connecteurs
de puissance est très facile, rapide et pratique. Au lieu d’un unique système de bran-
chement, le LRP Multi Plug System présente deux connecteurs universels de 4mm. Si
vous souhaitez utilisé des connecteurs Tamiya-, Traxxas- ou un système de connection
de style US, vous pouvez changer de connecteurs sans aucune soudure à realiser.
Cela rend les batteries équipées du LRP multi Plug System très facile à utiliser avec la
majorité des systèmes de branchement.
ATTENTION: Vérifiez toujours la polarité du branchement de l’adaptateur lorsque vous
changez de système de connection.
4. Chargement
Grâce aux nouvelles technologies de fabrication tous les accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hard-
case LiPo peuvent être chargés avec un taux de charge. Utilisez uniquement des char-
geurs spécifiquement conçus pour les accus LiPo. Ils chargent l’accu du début jusqu’
ils atteignent la tension de charge maximale avec le courant de pleine charge. Après
avoir atteint la tension maximale, le courant de charge s’est réglé vers le bas jusqu‘à ce
que l’accu est complètement remplie. Cette méthode de chargement est appelée CC/
CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage).
Pour charger les accus LRP accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo, nous vous re-
commandons notre chargeur compétition LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No.
41556).
ATTENTION: Des chargeurs d’accu NiMH/NiCd ou des chargeurs, qui se trouvent en
mode NiMH/NiCd, ne peuvent-être jamais utilisé dans tous les cas! Ces chargeurs
n’ajustent pas le courant de charge et donc inévitablement provoquent une surcharge
de l’accu! Utiliser uniquement des chargeurs qui disposent d’une coupure automa-
tique en fin de charge et conçu spécialement pour les batteries d’autos radiocom-
mandées. Ne pas utiliser de chargeur avec compte à rebours.
Pendant la charge l’accu LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo ne se chauffe pas. Il est
normal que l’accu ait encore la même température à la fin d’un chargement. Si un
accu se chauffe pendant le chargement ou même commence à se déformer, arrêtez
immédiatement le chargement! Un système d‘équilibrage, qui surveille les tensions de
chaque cellule pendant le chargement, est essentiel lors de la charge des accus LiPo.
ATTENTION: Par conséquent ne jamais rechargez sans balancer connecté, si votre
chargeur ne possède pas déjà cette fonctionnalité. Toujours charger la batterie en de-
hors du modèle.
La tension de charge maximale par chaque cellule LiPo est à 4.20V. À partir de cette ten-
sion, le courant de charge doit être réduit. Normalement cela se fait automatiquement
par le chargeur. Avec un courant de charge de 0,05 - 0,1C*, l’accu est complètement
chargé. Certains accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo sont constitués de plusieurs
cellules. Vous pouvez voir le maximum de tension dans le tableau ci-dessous. Nous

À NOTER: Vous pouvez charger nos accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo aussi sou-
vent que nécessaire sur une journée. Toutefois, assurez-vous que l’accu a refroidi à la
température ambiante avant de recharger.
Les accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo n‘ont pas d‘effet mémoire et presque aucun
« auto-décharge ». Normalement, vous pouvez charger un accu « moitié-plein » sans
auparavant complètement décharger l’accu. Des accus chargés peuvent être stockés
sans problème sur une longue période sans dommage. Consultez aussi la section «
Stockage ».
* C=capacité d’ accu. Avec une capacité nominale de 7000mAh par exemple (7,0 Ah)
l’accu peut être chargée avec un courant de charge jusqu‘à 21.0A max.
4. Déchargement
Tous les accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo peuvent être utilisées à court terme
jusqu‘un décharge maximale à 80C (type 80C/40C). La technologie de fabrication spé-
ciale de accus LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo possibles cette courants de décharge
élevés. S’assurer que la température de la batterie ne soit pas inférieure à 18°C (65°F)
pendant l’utilisation car la décharge va nuire à la performance et à la durée de vie en
dessous de cette température.
À NOTER: Quand une décharge avec des courants élevés est envisagée, il est essentiel
pour assurer un bon refroidissement de l’accu.
Assurez-vous que l’accu n’est pas trop déchargé. Dès que la tension d’une cellule d’un
accu LiPo se trouve au-dessous de 3.3V par cellule, l’accu peut être définitivement
endommagé. La tension finale de décharge d’un accu 2S sous charge est à 6.6V. La
tension finale de décharge d’un accu 1S sous charge est à 3.3V. La tension finale de
décharge d’un accu 3S sous charge est à 9.9V. En aucun cas, ces valeurs ne peuvent
pas atteintes. Si votre variateur ne possède pas un mode de « coupe tension » pour
les accus LiPo, vous devez arrêter à rouler le modèle assez tôt et avant que l’accu LiPo
est trop déchargé. Alors, arrêtez dès que vous remarquez une perte de la puissance
rapide.
IMPORTANT: La température maximale d’un accu LiPo ne doit jamais dépasser 65° C
lors de décharge.
REMARQUE: Si les accus se gonflent ou deviennent épais après le décharge, c‘est
donc un signe d‘une surcharge ou décharge profonde de l’accu. L’accu est endom-
magée cela et diminue les performances maximales. Un accu gonflé n’est pas une

5. Mode d‘emploi
• Régler la coupure LiPo de votre variateur à la bonne tension, en fonction de la batte-
rie utilisée. Une mauvaise tension de coupure peut entrainer une décharge profonde
et provoquer des dommages irrévocables.
• Évitez tout court-circuit! Des court-circuits provoquent des courants très élevés, qui
endommagent l’intérieur des accus LiPo. L’accu LiPo perd sa puissance et la capa-
cité.
• Ne jamais chargez des accus LiPo sans balancer. Un chargement sans système
d‘équilibrage peut endommager l’accu. S‘il vous plaît gardez à l‘esprit que la non-uti-
lisation d’un système d‘équilibrage annulera votre garantie.
• Regardez aussi bien à ne pas endommager l‘épiderme de l’accu LiPo. L’accu est
protégé par une gaine thermo rétractable. La cellule LiPo réelle est directement
ci-dessous. Si la peau extérieure de la cellule de LiPo est endommagée, cela rend
l’accu inutile. Par conséquent, assurez-vous que tous les objets pointus tels que des
couteaux, des outils, des bords de fibre de carbone ou similaire peut endommagent
l‘étui rigide et les cellules LiPo.
• Lors de l‘installation dans votre modèle, n‘oubliez pas que même lorsqu‘un incident
ou accident l‘accu LiPo peut être endommagé ou déformé. Les accus LiPo ne sont
mécaniquement pas si stables comme les accus NiMH dans leurs boîtiers métalli-
ques. Donc, assurez-vous que l‘accu n’est pas endommagée par suppression, pliage
ou similaire.
• Chargement de plusieurs packs d’accu avec un seul chargeur. Différentes charges et
capacités peuvent entraîner une surcharge du Pack même si vous utilisez un charge-
ur compatible LiPo.
• Cellules endommagé ne peuvent plus être utilisés. Si les cellules présentent des
déformations optiques ou similaires, vous ne les utilisez plus.
• Réaction chimique lors de la charge et la décharge des accus LiPo n’est pas 100 %
réversible. C‘est pourquoi les accus LiPo vont perdre de capacité. Ceci est normal et

des déchets spéciaux et doivent être éliminés en conséquence comme prescrits.
6. Stockage !!!
Pour le stockage sur une période plus longue il est recommandé que l’accu soit char-
gé à env. 50% de sa capacité totale. Dans la pratique on recommande une charge à
1C pendant environ 30 minutes ou un chargement sur une tension de 3.85-3.90V par
cellule. Dans cet état, l‘accu peut être stocké au moins trois mois à une température
ambiante de 25 ° C sans une charge supplémentaire. Si les batteries sont stockées plus
longtemps, effectuer un cycle complet de charge et de décharge tous les 3 mois suivi
d’une recharge partielle pour le stockage. Nous recommandons également d’effectuer
cette procédure avant la première utilisation lorsque la batterie a été stockée pendant
2-3 mois ou plus.
ATTENTION! NE JAMAIS STOCKEZ L’ACCU COMPLÈTEMENT DÉCHARGÉ OU COM-
PLÈTEMENT CHARGÉ! En tous les deux cas, l’accu sera endommagé. Les cellules se
gonfleront. Un accu complètement chargé aura le même effet négatif comme un accu
complètement déchargé.
Si vous utilisez votre accu régulièrement chaque semaine, il doit avoir toujours au
moins 30 % de sa capacité totale. Si vous avez complètement déchargé l’accu en cours
d‘utilisation, rechargez l’accu en tout cas avant de ranger celui-ci. Une charge dont le
courant de charge est à 1C pour environ 20 minutes est suffisante.
Pour le stockage, nous recommandons l’utilisation de notre sac LiPo LRP (No. 65848).
Si vous observez ces points, vous apprécierez un accu de « longue vie » sur votre LRP
Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo.
7. Ce que vous devez savoir sur les accus Lipo
• Les accus LiPo peuvent être chargés uniquement à une température ambiante de 0
à 45 ° C. Si ce n‘est pas respecté l’accu subira une réduction drastique de sa vie.
• La tension des cellules à pleine charge est de 4,2V sans charge. La tension des cel-
lules à 50 % de la capacité est environ à 3.85V sans charge. La tension des cellules
complètement déchargée est environ à 3.3V sans charge.
• Sans aucune charge une tension en dessous de 3, 3V par cellule pour un accu Lipo
dans tous les cas des voltages si bas sont pernicieux. Par conséquent, évitez les
tensions en dessous de 3, 3V par cellule.
• Un surcharge d’un accu Lipo n‘est pas reconnaissable sauf en vérifiant la tension de
l‘extérieur. Lors d’un surcharge de l’accu celui-ci ne devient ni chaud, ni il se gonfle-
t-il. C‘est pourquoi lorsque de la charge la tension de l’accu doit être toujours vérifié.
Si ça devient le cas, il faut tout de suite interrompre le chargement immédiatement
et par suite vérifier tous les paramètres.
• Il est recommandé d‘arrêter la décharge d’un accu Lipo avec une capacité résiduelle
de 30 % de la capacité nominale. Donc, les accus LiPo atteint leur durée de vie maxi-
male. On a vus que l’âge des accus se raccourcit plus rapidement si on les décharge
toujours complètement. Il s‘agit d‘un phénomène qui peut être vu avec tous les
accus LiPo.
Réparation / Garantie limitée
Les produits de la société LRP electronic GmbH (abrégé „LRP” plus bas) sont fabriqués
selon des critères de qualité stricts. Nous accordons la garantie légale concernant les
vices de fabrication et de matériaux existants au moment de la livraison du produit. La
garantie ne couvre pas l‘usure normale. Cette garantie ne s‘applique pas aux défauts
dus à un usage non conforme, un entretien incorrect, une intervention externe ou un
endommagement mécanique. Ceci s‘applique plus spécialement aux accus utilisés ou
comportant des marques d‘usure nettes. Les dommages ou pertes de performance
causés par une manipulation incorrecte et/ou une surcharge ne sont pas considérés
comme un défaut du produit. De même, des signes d‘usure (perte de capacité) lors
d‘un usage intense ne sont pas considérés en tant que défaut du produit.
Les travaux suivants seront également facturés par un forfait côté LRP :
• Remplacement de la fiche de branchement d‘origine par un branchement NON pro-
tégé contre la polarisation (Stickpack).
• Fixation d‘un branchement non protégé contre la polarisation (accu autre fabricant).
• Envoi sans fiche de branchement.
• Gaine rétractable d‘origine démontée ou endommagée.
Avant d‘envoyer ce produit en réparation, veuillez d‘abord contrôler tous les autres
composants de votre modèle et consulter le guide de dépannage de votre produit (si
disponible), afin d‘exclure les autres sources de dérangement et erreurs de comman-
de. Si le produit est exempt de défaut lors de l‘inspection par notre S.A.V., nous devons
vous facturer les frais de travail occasionnés selon notre liste de prix.
Lors de l‘envoi du produit, le client doit communiquer si le produit doit être réparé
dans tous les cas. Si le produit n‘est plus couvert par la garantie, l‘inspection et éven-
tuellement la réparation seront facturées conformément à notre liste de prix. Les droits
de garantie peuvent uniquement être reconnus si une copie du bon d‘achat est jointe
au produit envoyé. Sur votre demande explicite, nous pouvons vous établir un devis
payant. Les frais de devis seront déduits si vous nous donnez l‘ordre de réparation
après l‘envoi du devis. Notre devis nous engage pendant deux semaines à partir de sa
date de rédaction. Afin de faciliter l‘exécution de votre réparation, veuillez joindre une
description détaillée de la panne ainsi que vos coordonnées.
Si un produit défectueux renvoyé n‘est plus fabriqué par LRP et qu‘il n‘est plus possible
de le réparer, vous recevrez un produit de caractéristiques au moins identiques d‘une
des séries suivantes.
Les données telles que poids, taille ou autres sont indiquées par LRP à titre indica-
tif. LRP se dégage de tout engagement formel concernant ce type de données spéci-
fiques, car celles-ci peuvent être modifiées dans le cadre d‘améliorations techniques
du produit.

Las baterías LiPo necesitan un cuidado y tratamiento especial. Por favor, lea atenta-
mente las siguientes instrucciones antes de utilizar su batería Ultimate Drift de caja
dura por primera vez. Esta guía de usuario contiene información importante sobre la
instalación, seguridad, uso y mantenimiento de este producto. Siguiendo los consejos

1. Baterías DRIFT-SPEC
Por primera vez, LRP presenta el pack LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura, la cual está per-
fectamente optimizado para su uso en coches de Drift.
La batería es ligera, y aun así incorpora una alta capacidad para prolongados tiempos
de uso y proporciona una excelente salida de potencia en toda su capacidad.
Por ello, la LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP Pack crea las condiciones ideales para
obtener las prestaciones óptimas durante toda competición de drift.
2. Conexiones
Todos los Packs LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP tienen conectores oro de 4mm
instalados en la batería. Adicionalmente a los conectores oro de 4mm, todos los Packs
LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP utilizan un conector balanceador oro de 2mm,
que actúa como conector de elementos entre 2 elementos en el pack. La polaridad de
los dos conectores de 4mm está marcada con colores (ROJO -> positivo / NEGRO ->
negativo). Compruebe siempre la correcta polaridad para prevenir daños en su LiPo
y la electrónica del coche. Esta conexión también puede utilizarse para balancear los
elementos. Esta conexión se utiliza para balancear el pack LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura
de LRP.
Los Balanceadores especiales o algunos cargadores utilizan este puerto balanceador
para acondicionar y equalizar perfectamente cada elemento del pack. Por favor, lea
detenidamente las instrucciones del balanceador/cargador para así saber cómo deben
estar conectadas las baterías. Para una carga y acondicionamiento perfecto de sus
baterías le recomendamos nuestro PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (Cód. 41556).
ADVERTENCIA: El puerto del balanceador no tiene que utilizarse para cargas normales
en el modelo/dispositivo. Utilice solo los conectores oro de 4mm para alimentar su
modelo/dispositivo.
Para el perfecto cuidado de su batería LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja dura de LRP, le recomen-
damos el uso de nuestro cargador LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (Cód. 41556).
En conjunto con el cable de carga LiPo 2S (Cód. 65821) o con el Cable de carga LiPo
1S (Cód. 65829) y una de nuestras Cajas LiPo Safe (Cód. 65848), su batería mantendrá
siempre las más altas prestaciones.

3. Multi Plug System MPS
Con el nuevo e innovador Sistema Multi Conector de LRP, elegir un conector de alimen-
tación es muy fácil, rápido y seguro. En lugar de un sistema de conexión fijo, el Siste-
ma Multi Conector de LRP incorpora dos conectores universales de 4mm. No importa
si quieres utilizar un conector Tamiya, Traxxas o T, puedes cambiar los conectores sin
necesidad de soldar haciendo que los packs de baterías con Sistema Multi Conector de
LRP sean muy fáciles de usar en casi todos los sistemas de conexión.
ATENCIÓN: Compruebe la polaridad correcta del conector adaptador de potencia
cuando cambie los cables de alimentación.
4. Carga
Gracias a nuevas y especiales técnicas de fabricación, todas las baterías Ultimate Drift
Caja Dura de LRP pueden ser cargadas con una corriente máxima de 3C*. Para la carga
utilice solo cargadores diseñados especialmente para baterías LiPo. Estos cargadores
cargan la batería con la máxima corriente hasta que la batería alcanza el máximo vol-
taje de carga. Es entonces cuando el cargador reduce la corriente de carga hasta que
la batería está totalmente cargada. Este método de carga se llama CC/VC ( Corriente
Contínua/Voltaje constante).
Para cargar las baterías LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP le recomendamos nuestro
PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
ATENCIÓN: En ningún caso utilice cargadores de NiMH/NiCd o cargadores que estén
ajustados en modo NiMH/NiCd. Estos cargadores no reducen la corriente de carga y
por lo tanto pueden provocar una sobrecarga de su batería. Solo utilice cargadores
con corte automático de fin de carga y que estén especialmente diseñados para ba-
terías de modelos de radiocontrol. No utilice cargadores con temporizador.
Las baterías LRP Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP no se calientan durante la carga. Es
completamente normal que la batería mantenga la temperatura ambiente al final de
la carga. En caso que la batería se calentase o deformase durante la carga, deten-
ga el proceso inmediatamente. Durante la carga de baterías LiPo es extremadamente
necesario un balanceador que monitoriza el voltaje de cada uno de los elementos en
el proceso.
ATENCIÓN: Nunca cargue su batería LiPo sin un balanceador directamente conecta-
do al puerto balanceador de su batería, a menos que su cargador esté equipado con
balanceador.
ADVERTENCIA: Cargue su batería siempre fuera del modelo!
El voltaje máximo de carga por elemento LiPo es de 4.20V. Si la batería alcanza este
voltaje, la corriente de carga tiene que reducirse. Normalmente esto lo realiza el car-
gador automáticamente. Si la corriente de carga alcanza 0,05 - 0,1C* la batería está
completamente cargada. Algunas baterías LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP están
hechas de múltiples elementos LiPo. Puede observar el voltaje máximo de carga en
la tabla de abajo. Le aconsejamos los siguientes ajustes para cargar sus baterías LiPo
Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP:

AVISO: Puede utilizar su batería LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP muchas veces
al día. Tenga en cuenta que la temperatura de la batería vuelva a estar a temperatura
ambiente antes de cargarla de nuevo.
Las baterías LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura tienen un rango muy bajo de autodescarga
y no tienen efecto memoria. También puede cargar baterías que estén cargadas par-
cialmente, sin la necesidad de descargarlas previamente. Los Packs cargados parcial-
mente pueden ser almacenados durante un largo período de tiempo, sin peligro a que
resulten dañados. Consulte el apartado “Almacenaje” para obtener más información
al respecto.
* C=Capacidad nominal de la batería. Con una capacidad nominal de p.ej. 7000mAh
(7.0 Ah), la batería puede ser cargada con una corriente de carga máxima de 21.0A.
4. Descarga
Todas las baterías LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP pueden ser cargadas a una cor-
riente de carga máx. de 80C (Mod. 80C/40C). La tecnología especial utilizada en la fabri-
cación de las baterías hace posible estas corrientes de descarga tan altas. Asegúrese
de que la temperatura de la batería no está por debajo de 18°C (65°F) si va a utilizarla
en su modelo. Altas corrientes de descarga pueden dañar las prestaciones y el número
de ciclos puede reducirse si la temperatura está por debajo de 18°C.
AVISO: Cuando realice una descarga con altas corrientes de carga asegúrese que la
batería diponga de una buena refrigeración.
Tenga cuidado en que las baterías no se descarguen del todo. Tan pronto como el vol-
taje de la batería caiga por debajo de 3.3V por elemento, el pack de baterías quedará
dañado irremediablemente. El votaje de corte de descarga con packs 2S en uso es de
6.6V. Con packs 1S el voltaje de corte de descarga en uso es de 3.3V. Con packs 3S, el
voltaje de corte de descarga en uso es de 9.9V. Bajo ningúna circunstancia el voltaje
de la batería debe caer por debajo de estos voltajes de corte de descarga. En el caso
de que su variador no tenga una protección especial de bajo voltaje para baterías LiPo,
tiene que detener su modelo con tiempo suficiente para no descargar del todo su pack
de baterías. Por lo tanto párelo inmediatamente tan pronto note un descenso rápido
de la potencia.
IMPORTANTE: La temperatura máxima durante la descarga de las baterías LiPo nunca
deberá exceder los 65°(150°F).
Este pictograma indica que este producto debe ser depositado en un lugar apropiado al final de su vida útil.
Nunca lo tire al contenedor de basura convencional. Para su correcto reciclaje contacte con las autoridades
locales para que le informen de los puntos de reciclaje adecuados.

AVISO: Si las baterías se hinchan después de descargarlas, es un signo de sobrecar-
ga y/o descarga completa. El pack de baterías resultará dañado debido a esto y se
verá afectado su rendimiento. Los packs de baterías hinchadas no son un producto
defectuoso y por lo tanto quedan excluídos de cualquier tipo de garantía.
5. consejos especiales de uso
• Asegúrese de ajustar el voltaje de corte de su variador al voltaje correcto de la ba-
tería LiPo, dependiendo de la batería que esté utilizando. Un voltaje de corte incor-
recto puede provocar una profunda descarga de la batería, lo que provocaría daños
irreparables en esta.
• ¡Evite los cortocircuitos! Cortocircuitando la batería provoca corrientes muy eleva-
das, lo que produce daños en la estructura de las baterías LiPo. Esto provoca en la
batería una pérdida de potencia y capacidad.
• No cargue nunca baterías LiPo sin balanceador.La carga sin balanceador puede pro-
ducir la avería de la misma. Tenga presente que la carga sin balanceador terminaría
automáticamente con la garantía limitada del producto.
• Asegúrese de no dañar el exterior de la batería. La batería está protegida solo por
una funda termoretráctil. Los elementos LiPo se encuentran directamente bajo esta
funda. Si se daña la protección exterior, la batería podría dejar de funcionar. Por lo
tanto tenga especial cuidado con objetos punzantes tales como cuchillos, herra-
mientas, bordes de fibra de carbono y objetos similares que pueden dañar la funda
y/o los elementos.
• Cuando esté montando la batería en su modelo/dispositivo, tenga especial cuidado
en la ubicación final de la misma para que no resulte deformada o dañada en caso
de choque. Las baterías LiPo no son mecánicamente tan resistentes como lo son las
de NiMH en carcasas metálicas. Por lo tanto tenga especial cuidado en que la batería
no resulte dañada o deformada por caídas, golpes o similares.
• Nunca cargue con el mismo cargador varios packs de baterías LiPo al mismo tiem-
po. Las diferentes capacidades y niveles de carga pueden conducir a la sobrecarga
de la batería, incluso si estás utilizando un cargador específico de LiPo.
• Los packs que estén dañados no pueden volver a utilizarse de nuevo. Si observa
daños en la superficie, están doblados o daños similares, no utilice de nuevo los
packs de baterías.
• La reación química durante la carga y descarga de una batería LiPo no es 100%
reversible. Debido a esto, las baterías LiPo van perdiendo capacidad durante su vida
útil. Esto es algo normal y por lo tanto no es un defecto del material en la producción
del mismo.
AVISO: Packs dañados o gastados son residuos peligrosos que deben eliminarse de
acuerdo a su normativa local.
6. Almacenaje !!!
Para almacenarlas durante un período largo de tiempo, le recomendamos que carge
la batería al 50% aprox. de su capacidad nominal. Por lo tanto descargue el pack de
baterías y cárgelo parcialmente con una corriente de carga de 1C durante 30min. o cár-
guelo hasta un voltaje de 3.85-3.90V/elemento. En estas condiciones, la batería puede
almacenarse durante al menos 3 meses a temperatura ambiente de 25°C sin la nece-
sidad de recargarla. Si las baterías se almacenan más tiempo, asegúrese de realizar
una carga y descarga completa cada 3 meses y una carga parcial para almacenarlas.
Recomendamos hacer este procedimiento antes de utilizarlas por primera vez en un
modelo, después de que hayan estado almacenadas durante 2-3 meses.
ADVERTENCIA: NUNCA GUARDE LA BATERÍA CARGADA O DESCARGADA COM-
PLETAMENTE. En ambos casos la batería puede resultar dañada e hinchar los ele-
mentos. Una batería completamente cargada tendrá los mismos efectos negativos
que una batería totalmente descargada.
Incluso si está utilizando muy a menudo su batería, tenga cuidado en que la batería
esté parcialmente cargada por lo menos con un 30% de la capacidad nominal. Si la ba-
tería estaba completamente descargada previamente, una carga parcial con corriente
de carga 1C durante 20 minutos sería suficiente.
Para un correcto almacenaje, recomendamos que utilice nuestra Caja LiPo Safe (No.
65848). Si tiene especial cuidado sobre los puntos mencionados anteriormente, podrá
disfrutar de su batería LiPo Ultimate Drift Caja Dura de LRP durante mucho tiempo.
8. Datos de interés sobre baterías lipo
• Las baterías Lipo deben cargarse a una temperatura entre 0-45°C. En el caso que
usted no tenga esto en cuenta, la vida útil de su batería se reducirá drásticamente.
• El voltaje por elemento de una batería LiPo totalmente cargada es de 4.2V. El voltaje
de cada elemento de una batería LiPo cargada al 50% es de aprox. 3.85V. El voltaje
por elemento de una batería LiPo descargada es de aprox. 3.3V.
• Un voltaje por debajo de 3.3V por elemento sin carga es totalmente dañino para su
batería. Evite siempre voltajes de 3.3V por elemento.
• Cuando una batería LiPo se sobrecarga, no se puede apreciar en su apariencia. La
única manera de saberlo es midiendo el voltaje de la batería LiPo. La batería no se
calieta ni aumenta de tamaño cuando se sobrecarga. Por lo tanto, compruebe el vol-
taje de la batería siempre que la esté cargando. Si este excede el voltaje máximo de
carga detenga el proceso de carga inmediatamente y compruebe todos los ajustes.
• Le recomendamos que detenga la descarga de una batería LiPo si la capacidad re-
stante es de 30%. Con esto prolongará la vida útil de su batería al máximo. En la
práctica, se ha demostrado que la vida útil de las baterías LiPo se reduce si siempre
la descargamos completamente. Este fenómeno puede observarse en todos los ti-
pos de baterías LiPo.
Reparaciones / Garantía
Todos los productos de LRP electronic GmbH (a continuación denominado „LRP“) son
fabricados bajo los más estrictos criterios de calidad. Nuestra garantía contempla los
defectos de material o de fabricación que presente el producto a la fecha de entrega.
No asumimos ningún tipo de responsabilidad por los típicos signos de desgaste por
uso. Esta garantía no contempla los daños ocasionados por un uso indebido, mante-
nimiento insuficiente, manipulación por terceros o daños mecánicos. Esto se refiere
especialmente a pilas o acumuladores que presentan signos obvios de desgaste.
Los daños o la pérdida de potencia ocasionados por un error de manipulación y/o
sobrecarga no son ningún fallo del aparato. Los signos de desgaste (pérdida de poten-
cia) tras una utilización intensa tampoco es ningún fallo del producto.
LRP considera los siguientes puntos como causa de reparación sujeta a costes:
• Recambio de clavijas de enchufe originales por otros sistemas de conexión que NO
disponen de protección contra polarización inversa (Stickpack).
• Instalación de un sistema de conexión sin protección contra polarización inversa
(otras pilas de la competencia).
• Envío sin clavija de conexión.
• Manguera encogible en caliente original desinstalada o dañada.
Antes de enviar este producto para su reparación compruebe por favor primeramente
todos los demás componentes de su modelo y lea atentamente el librito de soluciones
de averías del producto (si es disponible) con el fin de poder descartar otras fuentes
de fallo o errores de manejo. En caso de que el producto no presentara ningún tipo
de fallo tras la comprobación por nuestro departamento de servicio y reparación le
pondremos en cuenta los costes de trabajo según la lista de precios.
Con el envío del producto, el cliente debe comunicar a LRP si el producto debe ser
reparado en cualquier caso. En caso de no existir derecho de garantía el producto sería
comprobado y, en caso necesario, reparado con cargo de los costes según nuestra
lista de precios. El derecho de garantía sólo se reconocerá si se adjunta una fotocopia
del ticket de compra o factura. Por orden explícita del cliente elaboraremos un presu-
puesto a cargo del cliente. Si tras haberle enviado el presupuesto, el cliente nos adju-
dica el encargo de reparación se suprimirían los costes del presupuesto. Nuestro pre-
supuesto tiene una validez de dos semanas a partir de la fecha de elaboración. Con el
fin de poder despachar su pedido lo antes posible adjunte por favor con su envío una
descripción detallada del fallo del aparato, así como su dirección y número de teléfono.

LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo, hai scelto una batteria dalle alte performances per il
tuo modello RC. Leggi attentamente le istruzioni per assicurarti che la tua batteria LRP
Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo, lavori sempre al massimo per soddisfarti pienamente.
Le batterie LiPo necessitano di un trattamento e cure speciali. Leggi attentamente le
istruzioni prima di iniziare ad utilizzare la tua batteria LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo.
Questo manuale contiene informazioni importanti per l’installazione, la sicurezza, l’uti-
lizzo ed il mantenimento di questo prodotto. Questo per proteggere te stesso ed evi-
tare danni al prodotto stesso. Segui le istruzioni di questo manuale per approfondire e
conoscere meglio la tua batteria LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo. Prenditi il tuo tempo
per leggere tutto attentamente, in quanto, conoscere meglio il prodotto ti consentirà
di godertelo al meglio.
Questo manuale deve essere conservato in un posto sicuro. Se un altro cliente sta
utilizzando questo prodotto, questo manuale deve essere consegnato insieme al pro-
dotto stesso.
1. SPECIFICHE BATTERIE DRIFT-SPEC
Per la prima volta, LRP presenta le nuove LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack, ot-
timizzate per un uso perfetto negli automodelli da Drift. La batteria è leggera, ma pre-
senta comunque un’ottima capacità, consentendo quindi una lunga autonomia, e for-
nisce un’eccellente potenza per tutta la sua durata. Quindi, le batterie LRP LiPo Ultimate
Drift Hardcase Pack, creano le condizioni ideali, fornendovi un potenza senza eguali per
tutta la durata della vostra gara di Drift.
2. Connessioni
Tutte le batterie LRP LiPo Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack hanno connettori dorati da 4mm
integrati nel pacco stesso. Oltre ai connettori dorati da 4mm, tutte le batterie LRP LiPo
Ultimate Drift Hardcase Pack hanno un connettore dorato da 2mm, il quale collega le
due celle presenti dentro al pack. Le polarità dei due connettori da 4mm sono entram-
be contrassegnate da un colore (ROSSO -> polo positivo / NERO -> polo negativo).
Presta sempre attenzione alla corretta polarità per prevenire danni alla tua lipo e
all’elettronica presente sull’automodello.
Questa connessione viene utilizzata per bilanciare i pacchi batteria LRP Competition
Car Line Hardcase LiPo. Bilanciatori specifici oppure certi caricabatterie, utilizzano qu-
este porte di bilanciamento per equalizzare perfettamente le celle individuali all’interno
del pacco. Si prega di consultare il manuale del bilanciatore/caricabatterie per sapere
come collegare correttamente la batteria. Per una perfetta carica e bilanciatura delle
batterie, noi raccomandiamo il nostro LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
NOTA: La porta del bilanciatore non deve essere utilizzata per l’utilizzo standard nel
modello.
Utilizzare soltanto i connettori dorati da 4mm per alimentare il tuo modello.
Per un utilizzo perfetto delle tue batterie LRP Competition Car Line Hardcase LiPo, rac-
comandiamo di utilizzare il nostro caricabatterie LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION
(No. 41556). Utilizzando anche il cavo caricabatterie LiPo 2S (No. 65821), o il cavo
caricabatterie LiPo 1S (No. 65829) ed uno dei nostri LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848), la
tua batteria avrà sempre le migliori performances.

3. Multi Plug System MPS
Grazie al nuovo ed innovativo LRP Multi Plus System, scegliere il giusto connettore
è semplice, veloce e conveniente. Invece di un sistema di connettore fisso, il Multi
Plug System di LRP utilizza due connettori universali da 4mm. Qualsiasi connnettore
tu utilizzi: di tipo Tamiya-, Traxxas- o US-style, puoi cambiare il connettore collegato
senza bisogno di saldature, questo rende il sistema LRP Multi Plug System perfetto per
utilizzare praticamente qualsiasi batteria e connettore.
ATTENZIONE: Controlla sempre la corretta polarità dei cavi quando cambi adattatore.
3. Carica
Grazie alle nuove e speciali tecniche impiegate, tutte le batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hard-
case LiPo, possono essere caricate ad un corrente massima di carica di 3C*. Per la
carica, utilizza soltanto caricabatterie specifici per batterie LiPo. Questi caricabatterie
caricano la batteria con la massima corrente, fino a che la batteria non raggiunge il
voltaggio massimo di carica. Il caricabatterie poi riduce la corrente di carica fino a che
la batteria non è completamente carica. Questo metodo di carica viene chiamato CC/
CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage).
Per caricare le batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo, raccomandiamo ti utilizzare il
nostro LRP PULSAR TOUCH COMPETITION (No. 41556).
ATTENZIONE: Non utilizzare in nessun caso un caricabatterie NiMH/NiCd, oppure ca-
ricabatterie impostati nella modalità NiMH/NiCd, per caricare batterie LiPo! Questi ca-
ricabatterie non riducono la corrente di carica e finiscono per sovraccarica la batteria!
Utilizza soltanto caricabatterie che hanno un cut-off automatico e specificatamente svi-
luppati per batterie di modelli radiocomandati. Non utilizzare caricabatterie con timer.
Le batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo non si scaldano durante la carica. E’ nor-
male che la batteria si mantenga a temperatura ambiente quando è completamente
carica. Se la batteria dovesse riscaldarsi durante la carica o dovesse deformarsi, inter-
rompere immediatamente la carica.
Un bilanciatore che monitora il voltaggio di ogni singola cella è obbligatorio durante la
carica di batterie LiPo.
ATTENZIONE: Non caricare mai la tua batteria LiPo senza un bilanciatore direttamente
connesso alla porta bilanciatore della tua batteria, a meno che il tuo caricabatterie non
fosse già equipaggiato con un bilanciatore integrato. Caricare sempre la batteria fuori
dal modello!
Il voltaggio massimo di carica di ogni singola cella LiPo è di 4.20V. Se la batteria rag-
giunge questo voltaggio, la corrente di carica deve diminuire. Questo viene automa-
ticamente eseguito dal caricabatterie stesso. Se la corrente di carica raggiunge 0.05
– 0.1C*, la batteria è completamente carica.
Alcune batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo sono formate da più celle LiPo. Puoi
consultare il massimo voltaggio di carica nella tabella sottostante. Consigliamo i se-
guenti settaggi per caricare le nostre batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo:

NOTA: Puoi utilizzare le tue batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo più volte durante
la giornata. Tuttavia, assicurati che la batteria si sia completamente raffreddata e sia
tornata a temperatura ambiente prima di ricaricarla nuovamente.
Le batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo non hanno effetto memoria ed un effetto
autoscarica veramente basso. Puoi quindi caricare le batterie parzialmente, senza biso-
gno di aver prima scaricato il pacco.
Pacchi batteria parzialmente carichi, possono essere conservati per lunghi periodi di
tempo, senza che si danneggino.
Si prega di consultare anche il capitolo “Storage” per maggiori informazioni.
* C=Capacità Nominale della batteria. Es. con una capacità nominale di 7000
mAh(7.0Ah), la batteria può essere caricata con una corrente massima di 21.0A.
4. Scarica
Tutte le batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo sono in grado di sviluppare un pic-
co massimo di corrente di scarica 80C (tipologia 40C/80C). La speciale tecnologia di
costruzione delle batterie LRP Ultimate Drift Hardcase LiPo rende possibili correnti di
scarica così elevate.
Assicurati che la temperatura della batteria non sia inferiore ai 18°C (65°F) se utilizzi la
batteria sul modello, le alte correnti di scarica influenzeranno negativamente le perfor-
mances ed il ciclo di vita della batteria stessa, sotto a questa temperatura.
NOTA: Assicurati che la batteria abbia sempre un raffreddamento adeguato quando si
raggiungono alte correnti di scarica.
Assicurarsi inoltre, di non scaricare le batterie troppo a fondo. Nel momento in cui
il voltaggio della batteria và al di sotto dei 3.3V per singola cella, il pacco batteria si
danneggia irrimediabilmente.
Per i pacchi 2S, il voltaggio di scarica cut-off sotto carico è di 6.6V. Con i pacchi 1S, il
voltaggio di scarica cut-off sotto carico è di 3.3V. Con i pacchi 3S, il voltaggio di scarica
cut-off sotto carico è di 9.9V. Il voltaggio della batteria non deve mai scendere al di
sotto di questi voltaggi di scarica cut-off. Se il tuo regolatore elettronico non ha una
protezione speciale di voltaggio cut-off per batterie LiPo, devi fermare il tuo modello
con un anticipo tale da consentire alla batteria di non scaricarsi troppo. Per questo,
fermati immediatamente, non appena avverti un improvviso calo di potenza.
IMPORTANTE: La temperatura massima della batteria LiPo durante la scarica non deve
mai superare i 65°C (150°F).

NOTA: Se le batterie si gonfiano o aumentano di spessore dopo la scarica, è un seg-
no di sovraccarico e/o di una scarica eccessiva. I pacchi batteria verranno quindi dan-
neggiati, e la performance massima non sarà più quindi possibile. Batterie gonfie non
sono un difetto di fabbrica e per questo sono escluse dalla copertura della garanzia.
5. Note Speciali per l’utilizzo
• Assicurati di aver impostato il tuo regolatore elettronico con il corretto voltaggio di
cut-off in base alla tipologia di batteria LiPo che stai utilizzando. Un errato voltaggio
di cut-off può far scaricare troppo la tua batteria, e danneggiarla irrimediabilmente.
• Evita i corto circuiti! Corto-circuitare la batteria scatena correnti estremamente alte
che possono danneggiare la struttura interna di una batteria LiPo. Questo si traduce
in una perdita di potenza e di capacità.
• Non caricare mai batterie LiPo senza un bilanciatore. Caricare senza un bilanciatore
potrebbe danneggiare la batteria. Tieni in considerazione che caricare senza un bi-
lanciatore fa decadere la garanzia.
• Presta attenzione a non danneggiare il case esterno della batteria LiPo. La batteria
è protetta soltanto da un involucro. La cella LiPo vera e propria è sotto a questo in-
volucro. Se l’involucro viene danneggiato, la batteria non potrà più essere utilizzata.
Per questo, presta particolare attenzione che nessun oggetto appuntito o tagliente
come coltelli, attrezzi, spigoli di fibra di carbonio o simili, siano a contatto con il case
esterno, e di conseguenza con le celle contenute al suo interno.
• Quando fissi la batteria LiPo all’interno del tuo modello, devi prestare attenzione che
la batteria LiPo non venga danneggiata o deformata in caso di urto. Le batterie LiPo
sopportano meno lo stress meccanico rispetto alle batterie NiMh nel loro involucro
metallico. Per questo, presta particolare attenzione che la batteria LiPo non venga
danneggiata o deformata lasciandola cadere, urtandola, piegandola o altre azioni
simili.
• Non caricare mai più pacchi di batterie LiPo allo stesso tempo, con lo stesso carica-
batterie. Le differenti capacità e livelli di carica, possono portare a gravi sovraccari-
chi della batteria, anche utilizzando un caricabatterie specifico per batterie LiPo.
• Pacchi danneggiati non devono più essere utilizzati. Se i pacchi mostrano segni di
danni, sono piegati o gonfi, non devono più essere utilizzati.
• La reazione chimica durante la carica e la scarica di una batteria LiPo non è com-
pletamente reversibile. Questo fa sì che le batterie LiPo perdano un po’ di capacità
durante la loro vita. Questo è normale e non è da considerarsi un difetto o un errore
di produzione.
NOTE SULLO SMALTIMENTO: Pacchi danneggiati o pacchi che non possono più es-
sere utilizzati, sono da considerarsi rifiuti pericolosi, e devono essere smaltiti di con-
seguenza.
6. Storage !!!
Per un lungo periodo di inutilizzo(storage), raccomandiamo di caricare la batteria fino
al 50% della sua capacità nominale. Procedi quindi a scaricare la batteria, e dopodichè
caricala parzialmente con una corrente di carica di 1C per 30 minuti, oppure caricala
fino ad un voltaggio di 3.85-3.90V/cella. In queste condizioni, la batteria può essere
riposta per almeno 3 mesi, in una stanza con temperatura di 25°C, senza bisogno di
doverla ricaricare. Se le batterie devono essere riposte per periodi di inutilizzo più lun-
ghi, assicurati di effettuare un ciclo completo di carica/scarica ogni 3 mesi, e ricaricarla
parzialmente per un nuovo periodo di storage. Raccomandiamo inoltre questo pro-
cedimento prima di utilizzare nuovamente la batteria su di un modello, dopo che la
batteria è stata inutilizzata per 2-3 mesi o più.
ATTENZIONE: NON RIPORRE MAI LA BATTERIA COMPLETAMENTE SCARICA O
COMPLETAMENTE CARICA. In entrambi i casi si danneggerà la batteria, e porterà la
batteria a gonfiarsi. Una batteria completamente carica avrà gli stessi effetti negativi
di una batteria completamente scarica.
Anche se utilizzi la tua batteria regolarmente tutte le settimane, presta sempre atten-
zione che la batteria sia parzialmente carica con almeno il 30% della sua capacità no-
minale, prima di riporla. Una carica parziale con una corrente di 1C per 20minuti, è
sufficiente in questi casi, nel caso in cui, la batteria fosse completamente scarica.
Per lo storage, raccomandiamo l’utilizzo del nostro LRP LiPo Safe Box (No. 65848). Se
presti attenzione a tutti i consigli sopra descritti, potrai goderti le tue batterie LRP Ulti-
mate Drift Hardcase LiPo per un lunghissimo periodo.
7. Aspetti interessanti riguardo le batterie LiPo
• Le batterie LiPo devono essere caricato soltanto a temperature tra 0-45°C. Se questo
non viene rispettato, il ciclo di vita della batteria sarà drasticamente minore.
• Il voltaggio di una singola cella LiPo completamente carica è di 4.2V. Il voltaggio di
una singola cella LiPo carica al 50% è di 3.85V. Il voltaggio di una singola cella LiPo
scarica è approssimativamente di 3.3V.
• Un voltaggio inferiore ai 3.3V per cella a vuoto(senza carico) è in ogni caso dannoso
per una batteria LiPo. Evita quindi sempre che il voltaggio scenda al di sotto dei 3.3V
per cella.
• Se una batteria LiPo viene sovraccaricata, non ci sono segni visibili all’esterno. L’uni-
co modo per scoprirlo è di misurare il voltaggio della batteria LiPo. La batteria LiPo
non si scalda e non si deforma quando viene sovraccaricata. Per questo, controlla
sempre il voltaggio della batteria durante la carica. Se eccede il massimo voltaggio
di carica, interrompi immediatamente il processo di carica e controlla i settaggi.
• Raccomandiamo di interrompere il processo di scarica di una batteria LiPo se la
capacità restante raggiunge il 30% della sua capacità nominale. Con questo accor-
gimento, le batterie LiPo avranno il massimo possibile in termini di cicli di vita. Ap-
plicazioni reali, hanno dimostrato che i cicli di vita delle batterie LiPo si riducono se
la batteria viene sempre scaricata completamente. Questo fenomeno si può riscon-
trare per ogni tipologia di batterie LiPo.
Garanzia generale e disposizioni di riparazione
I prodotti di LRP electronic GmbH (di seguito detta „LRP” ) sono realizzati secondo
rigidi criteri di qualità. LRP fornisce le garanzie previste per legge su difetti di produzi-
one e di materiali, presenti al momento della fornitura del prodotto. Non si risponde di
difetti di usura derivati dall‘utilizzo del prodotto. La garanzia non copre difetti dovuti a
uso inappropriato, mancata manutenzione, manomissione da parte di estranei o danni
meccanici. Ciò vale in particolare per accumulatori già usati o che presentano chiari
segni di utilizzo. Danni o perdite di potenza causati da uso improprio e/o sovraccarico
non rientrano tra i difetti di produzione. Lo stesso dicasi per i segni di usura (perdita di
capacità) in caso di utilizzo intensivo.
I seguenti punti comportano un rimborso forfettario di intervento da parte di LRP:
• Spina di connessione originale sostituita con un sistema di innesto NON provvisto di
protezione contro inversione di polarità (pacco stick).
• Utilizzo di un sistema di innesto non provvisto di protezione contro inversione di
polarità (accumulatore concorrenziale).
• Invio senza spina di connessione.
• Tubo flessibile raggrinzito originale rimosso o danneggiato.
Prima di inviare il prodotto per la riparazione, controllare innanzitutto i componenti del
modello e verificare sulla base dell‘elenco dei guasti (se disponibile) le eventuali cause
di avaria e gli errori di utilizzo. Se la verifica da parte del servizio di assistenza non
rileva anomalie di funzionamento, si provvederà a fatturare i relativi costi di intervento
come da listino.
All‘invio del prodotto, il cliente deve comunicare se il prodotto stesso va riparato in
qualsiasi caso. Qualora non ci si possa avvalere dei diritti di garanzia, la verifica del
prodotto e l‘eventuale riparazione sono soggette a pagamento in base ai prezzi di listi-
no. Il diritto di garanzia vale solo se è allegata una copia dell‘attestazione di pagamento
(fattura o scontrino fiscale). Dietro richiesta esplicita si fornisce un preventivo a paga-
mento. Se in seguito all‘invio del preventivo si impartisce l‘incarico della riparazione, i
costi del preventivo decadono. Il preventivo si ritiene valido per due settimane a partire
dalla data di stesura. Ai fini di un rapido svolgimento del servizio, si chiede una descri-
zione dettagliata del guasto e l‘indirizzo esatto per la spedizione.
Se il prodotto difettoso inviato non è più in produzione e se non è possibile effettuarne
la riparazione, LRP provvede a sostituirlo con uno almeno di pari valore di una serie
successiva.
I valori riportati da LRP circa peso, dimensioni e altro sono da intendersi come valori
indicativi. LRP non si assume alcun obbligo formale per tali indicazioni specifiche, es-
sendo esse suscettibili di cambiamenti per modifiche tecniche apportate per migliorare
il prodotto.

Beachten Sie unbedingt die folgenden Hinweise, da diese Ihr Pro-
dukt zerstören können und die Gewährleistung ausschließen. Nicht-
beachtung dieser Hinweise können zu Sach- und Personenschäden
und schweren Verletzungen führen! Vermeiden Sie falschen An-
schluss oder Verpolung des Produkts. Alle Kabel und Verbindungen
müssen gut isoliert sein. Kurzschlüsse können unter Umständen das
Produkt zerstören. Entnehmen Sie immer den Akku aus Ihrem Pro-
dukt bzw. trennen Sie das Produkt von der Stromquelle, wenn das
Produkt nicht verwendet wird. Laden Sie den Akku immer außerhalb
des Produktes auf, für den Sie den Akku benutzen möchten. Sollte
der Akku einen Defekt haben, kann dies zu einer Beschädigung des
Produkts führen. Vermeiden Sie Kurzschluss, Überladung und Ver-
polung des Akkus oder einzelner Zellen. Dies kann zu Brandentwick-
lung oder Explosion führen. Önen Sie niemals einen Akku, eine
Batterie oder einzelne Zellen. Laden Sie den Akku nur unter Aufsicht.
Während der Ladung muss sich der Akku auf einer nicht brennbaren,
hitzebeständigen Unterlage benden. Desweiteren dürfen sich kei-
ne brennbaren oder leicht entzündlichen Gegenstände in der Nähe
des Akkus benden. Überschreiten Sie unter keinen Umständen den
maximalen Lade-/Entladestrom, der empfohlen wird. Unter keinen
Umständen darf ein NiMH/LiPo-Akku tiefentladen werden. Der Akku
darf nicht mit Feuer, Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten in Berührung
kommen. Ladevorgang nur in trockenen Räumen durchführen. Ver-
wenden Sie für die Ladung von LiPo-Akkus nur Lade-/Entladegeräte,
die für diesen Akkutyp speziziert wurden. Verwenden Sie keines-
falls NiCd/NiMH Lade-/Entladegeräte. Die Aussenhaut des LiPo-Ak-
kus darf nicht beschädigt werden. Achten Sie also unbedingt darauf,
dass keine scharfen Gegenstände wie Messer, Werkzeuge, Kohlefa-
serkanten oder Ähnliches den Akku beschädigen können. Achten
Sie darauf, dass der Akku nicht durch Herunterfallen, Schlagen, Ver-
biegen oder Ähnliches beschädigt wird. Beschädigte Zellen dürfen
nicht mehr verwendet werden. Sollten die Zellen Verformungen,
optische Beschädigungen oder Ähnliches aufweisen, so dürfen Sie
diese nicht mehr verwenden. Der Hersteller kann nicht für Schäden
verantwortlich gemacht werden, die infolge von Nichtbeachtung

and dischargers, which are specied for LiPo-batteries by the manu-
facturer. Never use chargers or dischargers, which are specied for
NiCd/NiMH-batteries! The outside of the LiPo-battery must not be da-
maged. Therefore take special care, that no sharp objects like knifes,
tools, carbon bre edges or similar items can damage the battery. Pay
special attention that the LiPo-battery does not get damaged or war-
ped by letting it fall down, hitting it, bending it or by similar actions.
Damaged packs cannot be used any longer. If the packs show signs
of damage, are bent or similar, do not use the packs anymore. The
manufacturer can not be held responsible for damages, which are a
result of non-observance of the warning notes and security advices.
Pay attention, that the charger is set to LiPo charge mode when
charging a LiPo battery. If individual cells in the battery pack heat up
excessively, immediately stop the charging process.

Nabíjení se smí provádět pouze v suchých prostorách. K nabíjení
LiPo baterií používejte pouze nabíječky/vybíječky, které jsou určené
pro tento typ baterie. Nikdy nepoužívejte nabíječky/vybíječky pro
NiCd/NiMH baterie. Vnější plášť LiPo baterie nesmí být poškozený.
