•The images contained in this manual are illustrative and have
the function of demonstrating the correct functioning of your
product, there may be small changes in relation to the images.
Keep these instructions:
•When working with machines, always follow safety precautions
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury,
including the following:
1) Work Area
•Keep the work surface clean. Disorganized areas and work
surfaces invite accidents.
•Do not use power tools in damp or wet places or exposed to
rain, or in the presence of flammable liquids or gases. Keep the
work area well lit.
•Keep children away. All visitors must be kept at a safe distance
from the work area.
•Make the workplace child-proof by using padlocks, master keys
or removing the ignition key.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
•Make sure your power supply matches the designation on the
plate. A 10% decrease in voltage or more will cause loss of power
and overheating. All MAKSIWA equipment is tested at the
factory. If this tool does not work, check the power supply.
•Double insulation: Double insulation tools are constructed with
two separate layers of electrical insulation or double insulation
thickness between you and the tool's electrical system. Tools built
with this insulation system should not be grounded.
NOTE: Double insulation does not replace normal safety
precautions when operating
normal safety precautions when operating this tool. The isolation
system is to add protection against personal accidents resulting
from a possible failure in the electrical insulation of the tool.
CAUTION: When performing maintenance, replace with
identical parts only. Repair or replace only with identical parts.
•The plugs on the machine must be compatible with
the outlets. Never modify the plug. Do not use any
adapter plugs with grounded tools. Unmodified plugs
coupled with the use of compatible outlets will reduce
the risk of electric shock.
•Avoid contact of the body with earthed or grounded
surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, scales and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body
is earthed or grounded.
•Do not force the power cord. Never use the power
cord to charge, pull or disconnect the tool from the
outlet. Keep the power cord away from heat, oils, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
•When operating outdoors, use an extension cord
suitable for outdoor use. Using an appropriate cable
outdoors reduces the risk of electric shock.
• Extension cables: Make sure your extension is in good
condition. When using an extension cord, ensure that it is capable
of transmitting the electrical current used by your product. An
undersized cable will cause a voltage drop resulting in loss of
power and overheating. The following table shows the correct size
to be used depending on the cable diameter and the amperage
rating. If in doubt, use a cable with a higher capacity level. Do not
use extensions over 20 meters in length.
