Features
The Magnifier is used to enhance focusing.
It magnifies the central finder image by a factor of two, guaranteeing that close-up or copy work can be
sharply focused.
With an adjustment of -5 to +5 diopter, it can accommodate a broad range of eyesight and can be used with
the following finders:

Attaching the Magnifier to Your Finder
1. Remove the prism finder’s eyecup.
2. Hold the Magnifier by its Eyepiece Mount (4) and slide the Eyepiece Mount (4) over the finder’s
eyepiece frame until it stops, Fig. 1.
Removing the Magnifier from your Finder
1. Grasp the Magnifier by it Eyepiece Mount (4), and then lift it up and off the finder, Fig. 1.
2. Replace the prism finder’s eyecup.
Adjusting the Magnifier for Your Eyesight
Attach the Magnifier to the prism finder.
Set the distance on your lens to infinity (∞) by rotating the lens’ Focusing Ring until the infinity symbol aligns
with the index mark.
Loosen the Set Screw (1).
Hold the camera up to your eye and look through the Magnifier.
Rotate the Magnifier’s Diopter Adjustment Ring (3) until a distant object can be clearly seen through the
Magnifier. If a distant object is unavailable, rotate the Diopter Adjustment Ring (3) until you can clearly see
the focusing screen’s lines in the viewfinder.
When the correct diopter adjustment has been made, tighten the Set Screw (1), being careful not to
accidentally turn the Diopter Adjustment Ring (3).
Using the Magnifier
1. While looking through the Magnifier, turn the lens’ Focusing Ring until the central area of the frame is
in sharp focus.
2. After setting the focus, flip-up the Magnifier’s eyepiece to determine your composition, Fig. 2.
