1 - DRIVER’S SEAT
DESIGNEDFORMAXIMUM COMFORT, THIS SEAT CANBE ADJUSTED ASFOLLOWS.
WEIGHTADJUSTMENT(FIG. A)
It is advisedthat the weight beadjusted when thedriver is not sitting in the cab.
- Refer to graduation 1 of the seat.
- Turn handle 2 depending onthe driver sweight.
NOTE: Toavoidanyhealthproblems,it is recommended that theweightshouldbechecked and
adjusted before starting upthe lift truck.
SEAT HEIGHTADJUSTMENT(FIG. B)
-Raise the seat tothedesiredposition,untilyouheartheratchet click. If you raise theseat
above the last notch (stop), the seat drops down tothe lowest position.
SEAT BACK-RESTANGLE ADJUSTMENT (FIG. C)
The back-restangle of the seat may be adjustedto suit the individual.
- Press the left-hand button while pushingontheseat orrelaxing pressure on the seat tofind
acomfortable position.
SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTMENT (FIG. D)
The depth of theseat may be adjustedto suit the individual.
- Press the right-hand button while raising or lowering the seat to find the desired position.
EXTENDINGTHE HEAD-REST (FIG. E)
- Theheightof the back-restcan be adjusted bypullingit upwards(the notcheswillclick) up
to the stop.
- The head-rest canbe removed by applying sufficient pressure topullitoff the stop.

This increases the comfort of theseat and the driver s freedom ofmovement.
- Turn the handle either leftor right to adjustthe height ordepthofthe lumbarsupport.
ADJUSTMENTOF THEANGLE OFTHE BACK-REST(FIG. G)
- Support the back-rest, pull the lever and position the back-rest tofindthe desired position.
If you do notsupport the back-rest when making adjustments, it swings completely forwards.
LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTMENT (FIG.H)
- Adjust thelockinglever untilyou reach the position required. This then locksand the seat will
not shift intoanother position.
MAINTENANCE (FIG. I)
Dirtmayadversely affect thecorrect functioningoftheseat.For this reason, makesure your
seat isalways clean.
- To cleanor change the cushions, simply remove them fromthe seat frame.
Arocking head-rest increases the risk of an accident !
Avoidwetting the cushionfabric when cleaning. Check theresistance ofthefabric on asmall
hiddenareabefore using any fabric orplastic cleaner.

WEIGHTADJUSTMENT(FIG. A)
It is advisedthat youadjust the seat according to your weight when sitting.
- Switch on lift truck ignition.
- Pushor pulllever 1until greenappears in display2indicating correct adjustment according
to yourweight.
NOTE: Toavoidanyhealthproblems,it is recommended that theweightshouldbechecked and
adjusted before starting upthe lift truck.
SEAT HEIGHTADJUSTMENT(FIG. B)
Whenweight adjustment has been carried out, you can thenmodify seat height.
- Keep the ignition onin the lift truck.
-Pushor pulllever 1 untilgreen appears and adjust the height of the seat while checking that
the green indisplay 2 remains visible.
To avoidcausingany damage,do not activatethecompressor for over 1 minute.

2 - SAFETY BELT
- Sit correctly on the seat.
- Check that seatbelt is not twisted.
- Place the seat beltat hiplevel.
- Attach the seat belt andcheckthatitlocks.
- Adjust theseat belt to yourbody shape without squeezing yourhip and without over-slack.
Inno event shouldthe lift truck be used if the seat beltisdefective(fixing, locking,cuts, tears, etc.). Repair orreplacetheseat beltimmediately.

CONTROL INSTRUMENTS
A-I.C.ENGINE WATER TEMPERATURE
Temperature zone:
A1 - Blue zone (0° - 50°) Use the lift truck withmoderation,wait fortemperatureto increase before normal operation.
A2 - Greenzone (50° - 100°) Use lift truck normally
A3 - White/redzone (100° -105°) Uselift truckwithmoderation, monitor the temperature.
A4 - Redzone (105° -120°) Stop the lifttruck, look for the cause ofoverheating.
NOTE: Redindicator lightcomes on betweenzone A3 andA4.
B - HOUR METER ANDREV COUNTER
C - FUEL LEVEL
Red zone C1indicates that you are using the reserve supplyand that time ofuse is limited.
D-CLOCK
SIGNALLIGHTS
Apermanently lit or flashing warning lamp, withtheengine running, isthe sign of anoperating fault. Thelighting of some lampsmay beaccompanied by an
audiblesignal. Do notignore this warning, consultyour dealer without delay.
If one of the warning lamps comes on whilethe lift truckisin motion, stop thelift truckunder the safest possibleconditions.
Whenactivating the electrical system ofthelifttruck, allthe red andorange lamps andthepanel sbuzzer mustlighttoindicatetheir
good working order. If oneofthe red lamps or the buzzer does not function, carry out the necessary repairs.
NOTE:
STOP
only for: MLT... -120 ...
ORANGE I.C.ENGINE PREHEATING INDICATOR LIGHT
Preheating is necessary.Whenthelifttruckisswitched on,the lampcomes on for 2secondsand offas soonas preheating is
ended.Start the lift truck sI.C. engine.
ORANGE I.C.ENGINE WARNINGINDICATOR LIGHT
If thelamp comes on or flashes while the lifttruck is in operation, adiagnostic faulthas been detected. Thelifttruck willoperate
in reduced mode. Consultyour dealer without delay.
STOP REDI.C. ENGINESTOPPEDINDICATOR LIGHT
If the lamp comeson orflashes,whenthe lift truckis running, stop the I.C. engine immediately andconsultyour dealer.
REDSTEERING SYSTEM OILPRESSUREWARNING INDICATORLIGHT
Ifthelamp comes on when thelift truck isrunning,stoptheI.C. engine immediately andlook forthecause (possible leak,etc.).
NOTE: The indicator lights
STOP
go off after engine preheating.

If the lampandthe buzzer come on,when the lifttruckis running,stop theI.C. engine immediatelyand lookforthe cause
(braking oil level,possibleleak, etc.). Inthe eventofan abnormal dropping ofthe level,consultyour dealer.
REDPARKING BRAKELAMP
This lamp comes on when the parkingbrake is applied.
BATTERY CHARGE WARNINGINDICATOR LIGHT
If the lampand the buzzer come on when thelifttruckisrunning,stop the I.C.engine immediately andlookfor the cause (electric
circuit,alternator belt, alternator, etc.).
REDI.C. ENGINEOIL PRESSURE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT
If the lamp and thebuzzercome onwhenthelifttruckis running,stop theI.C. engine immediately andlookfor the cause (engine
oil level, possible leak, etc.).
REDI.C. ENGINEWATER TEMPERATURE WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT
If the lampandthebuzzer come on whenthe lifttruck is running, stop the I.C.engine immediately andlook for thecause(coolant
level, possible leak, radiator, etc.).
REDAIRFILTER OR HYDRAULIC RETURNFILTER CLOGGEDINDICATOR LIGHT
The lamp and buzzer come on when theairfilter cartridge or thehydraulic returnoil filter cartridgeis cloggedup. Stop theI.C.
engine and carryout thenecessaryrepairs(see cleaningand replacement requirements in chapter: 3-MAINTENANCE: FILTERS

4 - LONGITUDINAL STABILITY LIMITER AND WARNING DEVICE
This device warnstheoperatorof the lifttruck slongitudinal stabilitylimits.However,lateral stability canreduce theload chartin the
upper part, andthis reductionis not detected by the device.
Accordingtothetype of work required, thelongitudinalstability limiter and warningdevice allows the operator tooperatethelifttruck
in complete safety.
The operator must respect the lift truck’sload chart,and the operatingmode according to the attachment.

Use on forks(TFF,PFB,TDL),andadjustableaccessorieson forks(BB,GL).
- By default, the device is in !HANDLING"MODEwhen thelifttruck is started-up,except ifthe
!SUSPENDEDLOAD"MODE has been selected before shutting-down the engine.
A1 - A2- A3: There isa significant reserveoflongitudinal stability.
A4 - A5:The lift truck isapproaching the limit of longitudinal stability, move withcare.
A6: The lifttruck is verynear atthelimit of longitudinal stability.Thealarm sounds simultaneously
with a slowintermittent sound. Movewithcare.
A7: The lifttruck is verynear at thelimit of longitudinal stability.Thealarm sounds simultaneously
with a fast intermittent sound.Move with extreme care.
A8: The lifttruck isat the authorizedlimitof longitudinal stability.Acontinuousacoustic alarm
is simultaneously sounded. All !AGGRAVATING"hydraulic movementsare cut-off. Cut-off
maybe precededbyautomatic slowingofhydraulicmovements.Only perform hydraulic
movements that increase stability in the following order; retract andraise the jib.
NOTE: When the jib is retracted, the function forcutting-off !AGGRAVATING"hydraulic movements is
disconnected.
B - “BUCKET” MODE
Use with a bucket (CB, CBA, CBC, CBG, CBR, CBM, FFGR).
- Place the lift truck in the transport position.
- Press the button for 2seconds,the !BUCKET"MODEisconfirmedbyan audible beep
andthe lightingofthe lamp.
-Return to !HANDLING"MODE bypressing the button , or lossofdriver presence for a
few seconds,or shuttingdown theengine.
A1 - A2- A3: There isa significant reserveoflongitudinal stability.
A4 - A5:The lift truck isapproaching the limit of longitudinal stability, move withcare.
A6: The lifttruck is approachingthelimitoflongitudinal stability.An audible beep
is sounded.Move with care.
A7: Thelifttruck is very closeto thelimitoflongitudinal stability. Move with extreme care.
A8: The lift truckis at the authorizedlimit of longitudinal stability.
Allhydraulic movements remainavailable, ONLYPERFORMDE-AGGRAVATING HYDRAULIC MOVEMENTSIN
THE FOLLOWING ORDER: RETRACT AND RAISETHEJIB.
NOTE: Accordingtotheversion, the jibloweringand extensionmovements maybecut-offand preceded
byan automatic slowing ofhydraulic movements. In thiscase, when the jibis retracted,the
function for cutting-off !AGGRAVATING"hydraulic movements is disconnected.

- Press the button for 2seconds, !SUSPENDEDLOAD"MODE is validatedbyan audible beep
andthe lightingofthe lamp.
- Return to !HANDLING"MODE by pressing the button .

D-KEY SELECTOR FOR DISCONNECTING THE LONGITUDINAL STABILITY LIMITER AND WARNING DEVICE
Incertain cases, inorder toget out ofadifficult situation, the operatorcanbypass this safety system.
Key selector Dtemporarily disables the cutting-off of !AGGRAVATING"hydraulic movements.
-Keep key selectorD turned in position !0"to proceedand simultaneously perform the necessary
"AGGRAVATING"hydraulic movement withextremecare.The combineduse of these two actions is
limited to60 seconds.
Remain very vigilantduring thisoperation. The only informationavailableto theoperator is the lift truck’s
dynamic stability.

Note:When the safety system is disenabled,analarm soundis automaticallyactivated to warn the
driver and other persons who may be presentin theareaofa possible dangersituation.
When the emergency procedures havebeen completed the key must putback in the safety box andthe safety
glass must be replaced.

E - TESTINGOF THE LONGITUDINALSTABILITY LIMITER ANDWARNING DEVICE
- Short press the button atany time to check the correct operation of thelongitudinal stabilitylimiter and warning device.

- Thefault indicator lamp plus ledsA1 andA7 lighting alternately with A4 and A8 indicates
adefectivelink in the operationof the longitudinal stability limiter and warning device.
- The faultindicator lamp plus continuouslylit leds A7 and A8 indicate afaulty box.
G - STRAIN GAUGE
Disassemblyorcalibrationofthe straingauge isprohibited,thismustonly bedoneby specially trained
personnel, consultyourdealer.

Whenthe wheels are aligned, the indicator lightsup.

F-DIRECTION SELECTIONSWITCH
Beforeselecting one of the three possiblesteering positions, bringall 4wheels intoalignmentwithregards to
thelift truckaxle. Never changethesteering mode whilst driving.
F1 - Front and rearsteeringwheels inopposite directions
(Short or concentric steering).
F2 -Front steering wheels(Road travel).
F3 -Front andrear steering wheels inthe same direction
(crab steering).
*Wheel alignment procedure:
Pressthesteeringmode selection switchon !F1",turn the steeringwheel untilthe rear wheels
arealigned A2, press thesteeringmodeselectionswitchon !F2",andturn thesteering wheel
until the front wheels are aligned A1.
Whenthefrontand rear wheelsare aligned,oneof the three steeringmodes mentioned above
canbe selected.
The wheels coordination maybe lost with use;carryout realignmentof the wheelsevery20 hours
ofservice by following the procedure describedabove.
Beforedrivingonroads,itisnecessarytocheckthealignmentof the rear wheelsand todrive infrontwheel
steer.The control of the alignmentof therear wheelsmust be regularly done with the help of thegreenlamps,
while drivingthelift truck. Incase of anomalies, consultyour dealer.
G - CONCENTRIC STEERINGGREENLIGHT
The green light indicates that concentric steering is selected.
H-LATERAL OR CRABSTEERINGGREENINDICATOR LIGHT
The green light indicates that lateralor crab steeringis selected.
K - SPEED SELECTOR(SLOW-FAST)
The machine can run at two speeds:
-Slow (forworksite)
- Fast (for road travel)
Tochange the speed, follow the instructions given below:
-stop the forklifttruckmovement completely
- keep the i.c.engine running at minimum speed
- positionthe reverse gear in idle (see point)
- push the brake pedalallthe way and press the slow-fast pushbutton !M"untilthe
respective lights !L"or !M"lightup.
If the forward/reverse movementis not activated,follow the instructions givenbelow:
- positionthe reverse switch as required (Forwards- Reverse)
- discharge pressure from the brake pedal
- Press the !F"!TRANSMISSION RESET"pushbuttonto obtain the connection in the
requireddirection.
- Ifthe vehicledoes notmove,start accelerating the internal combustion engine slowly and
gradually untilthe truck startsmoving.
These indications mustbefollowed for properworking of the transmission.
L-SLOW SPEEDGREEN INDICATORLIGHT
The green light indicates that slow speed is selected.
M-FAST SPEEDGREENINDICATOR LIGHT
The green light indicates that fast speedisselected.
N - OPERATING MODE
Activating thetwo-position switch will activate the operating system concerned to work slowly
andaccurately.

20 - AIRCONDITIONING CONTROLS (OPTIONAIR CONDITIONING)
The air conditioning only comes on when the forklift truckhasbeen started up. When usingyour air
conditioning, you must workwith the doors and windows closed.
Inwinter: So as to ensurecorrectoperationand completeefficiency of the air conditioningunit, start
upthe compressor oncea week, if only for ashort spell, so asto lubricatethe internal seals.
Incoldweather: Warm the I.C.engine before switching onthe compressor, so as to allow thecoolant
that has collected intheliquid state at the lowest point ofthe compressor circuitto turninto gas under
theeffectof the heat given off by the I.C. engine, as the compressor isliable to bedamagedby coolantin
theliquid state.
If yourairconditioning doesnotseemtobeworkingproperly,haveitexaminedby your dealer (see:3-
MAINTENANCE:F- EVERY2000 HOURS OF SERVICE).Never try to repair any possibleproblems by yourself.

Incase ofafault that affects theautomatic regulation, the control unit displays anerrorcodeconsistingofthe letter E
followedbya number which identifies the type of fault according to the following Table:
E 1 external air temperature sensor (E.T.) interrupted.
E 2 external air temperature sensor (E.T.) short circuit.
E 3 cab air temperature sensor (I.T.) interrupted.
E 4 cab air temperature sensor (I.T.) short circuit.
E 5 mixedair temperature sensor (M.T.) interrupted.
E 6 mixedair temperature sensor (M.T.) short circuit.
Sinceautomatic regulation is notpossible, thekeys for increasingand decreasingthe internal temperatureareusedto
change the position of the mixer,while the fanspeedis fixed at the 2ndspeed.
Whenthe error is solved, the control unitresumes normaloperation onlyafter resettingthe +key.
