How To Assemble a Frame
→
Step One:
Take the boom bar and an end bar and put the n-
ger into the notch. You want the narrower part of
the end bar facing down and going into the boom
bar. (As Shown In Diagram C) Make sure groove on
boom bar faces upward into the frame.

You Will Need:
• 2 End Bars
• 1 Top Bar
• 1 Boom Bar
• Hammer
• Nails (Sold Separately)
• Wood Glue
• Construcon Square
Step Two:
Use a construcon square to be sure your frame
is square. Frames that are not square will not sit
properly in the hive. Glue, then nail the bars to-
gether. (As Shown In Diagram D)
Step Three:
Repeat steps one and two for the other side of the
boom bar. (As Shown In Diagram C and D)
Diagram A is a picture of the top bar. Diagram B is a picture of the
top bar and the end bar and how they t together. Diagram C is a
picture of the boom bar and end bar and how they should line up
to go together. Diagram D shows how the boom bar and end bar
t together.

Step Four:
Take the top bar and push it into the notches of
the end bars. Make sure groove on top bar faces
downward into the frame. You should have the
wider part of the end bar facing the top bar. (As
Shown In Diagram A and B)
Step Five:
Use a construcon square to be sure your frame
is square. Glue, then nail the bars together. (As
Shown In Diagram B)

Inserting Rite-Cell®Foundation
Step One:
Take foundaon and insert it into the boom
groove of the frame, as seen in the picture above.
You Will Need:
• Assembled Frame
• Rite-Cell® Foundaon
Foundaon
Step Two:
Bow the foundaon out so you can get it to
snap into the top of the frame.
Step Three:
Move your hand down the foundaon to snap it
into the top bar.
Completed Frame with Rite-Cell®Foun-
daon.

Step One:
Remove the wedge piece from the frame.
Step Two:
Insert the boom of the foundaon into the
groove at the boom of the frame. Push the top
of the foundaon into the void le by the wedge
at the top of the frame.
Step Three:
Replace wedge at the top of the frame and nail
it in.

Step One:
Insert eyelet into pre-drilled holes. (Not using
an eyelet may cause the wire to cut into the
so wood.)

Step Two:
Drive a nail halfway into the end closest to
your spool of frame wire.

Step Seven:
Insert foundaon by pung it into the bot-
tom groove and gently pushing it into the top
groove. Replace wedge and nail it in.
Step Eight:
Embed wire into foundaon using a spur wire embed-
der. Run the embedder over the wire so it embeds
into the foundaon.

Step Five:
Cut the wire from the spool, then cut o any
excess wire so it is short around the nail.

Step Six:
Pound the nail into the frame.
Step Four:
Wrap the loose
end around the
nail in the end bar.
Tighten the wire by
turning the spool
with one hand and
pulling on the slack.
While keeping your
wire ght, wrap the
wire from the spool
around the nail in
the end bar.

Thread wire through the holes, back and forth.
(You can string it through as many holes as you
desire.)
