procéder à l'installation. Dans certains cas, pour des raisons
pratiques, certaines étiquettes sont livrées séparément.
Apposez-les près de l'appareil de manière appropriée et

►CARACTÉRISTIQUES GÉNÉRALES
►AVERTISSEMENTS
EVO est un interrupteur-sectionneur à commande manuelle
de catégories d’utilisation AC-22A, AC-23A et AC-3 (IEC/EN
60947-1 et -3). Il permet d’établir et d’interrompre en toute
sécurité des charges mixtes, fortement inductives ou
d’importantes surcharges. À l'aide d'un outil, EVO est
séparable en deux parties (partie ‘source’ et partie ‘charge’),
permettant le remplacement sans habilitation électrique d’un
équipement défectueux par un équipement pré-équipé, sans
décâblage ni coupure de l’alimentation en amont.
En positions ON et OFF, son indice de protection est IP67/IP69
(IEC/EN 60529). En position séparée, il est IP4X. L’utilisation
de bouchons (bouchon côté charge en option) procure un
IP67/IP69.
Les parties actives sont totalement inaccessibles.

• Respecter impérativement les sections de conducteurs

►CÂBLAGE
• EVO possède jusqu’à 7 contacts,
repérés [1] [2] [3] [4/N] [5] [6] et Terre.
La destination des contacts de 1 à 6 est
laissée au choix de l’intégrateur. Ces
contacts peuvent être utilisés comme
contacts de puissance ou contacts
auxiliaires.
• La section du conducteur de protection doit être au moins
égale à la section des conducteurs de phase.
• Dégainer le câble de la longueur adéquate en fonction de
l'accessoire utilisé. La gaine extérieure du câble doit pénétrer
suffisamment dans l'accessoire pour garantir l'étanchéité et
l'amarrage.
• Les appareils MARECHAL® ne doivent être connectés qu’à
des appareils complémentaires MARECHAL®. Tout
remplacement de composant doit être réalisé exclusivement
avec des pièces d’origine MARECHAL®.

☼ Les bornes des contacts sont équipées d’un dispositif à
blocage élastique qui empêche leur desserrage sous l’effet du
tassement des conducteurs, des vibrations ou des chocs
thermiques.

►INSTALLATION
• Pour un montage semi-encastré,
l’utilisation d’un manchon droit est
nécessaire. Respecter son orientation
lors de son assemblage.
• Dénuder les conducteurs de la longueur indiquée. Un
embout serti peut permettre d'éviter la dispersion des brins
des conducteurs souples.
• Ne pas desserrer complétement les vis des serre-fils ;

• Insérer complétement le conducteur et serrer la vis du serre-
fils au couple indiqué.
EVO peut être installé à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur des
bâtiments.
 



• les accessoires (manchons, poignée)
se clipsent à l’arrière des parties source
et charge suivant une orientation
précise : la plus large encoche en U (XXL)
doit être positionnée à 9 h par rapport à
la marque OFF.
• Pour séparer l'appareil de son
accessoire arrière, introduire un
tournevis plat de 7 mm dans l'encoche
de cette partie et soulever délicatement
la languette de retenue de l'accessoire
arrière.
• Le boîtier mural peut accueillir une
entrée M40 ou deux entrées M25.
• EVO est livré avec un symbole
graphique adhésif d’inter-sectionneur
cadenassable à enveloppes séparables.
Coller cette étiquette à un emplacement
bien visible de l’opérateur.

►FONCTIONNEMENT
3-4. Pour ouvrir l’interrupteur-sectionneur, tourner vers la
gauche.
FRANÇAIS
0. Pour réunir les deux parties, aligner les deux repères «О» .
1. Tourner la partie mobile vers la droite. L’interrupteur se
retrouve en position ouverte «О» (OFF) et les deux parties
sont verrouillées l'une à l'autre.
2. Tourner de nouveau vers la droite pour fermer
l’interrupteur en position «I» (ON).

VERROUILLAGE
• Condamnation en position "0" (OFF).
EVO est livré avec une clé cadenassable, condamnant sa
rotation (cadenas non fourni).
►SEPARATION
5-6-7. Pour séparer la partie source de la partie charge, faire
coulisser à l'aide d'un outil la goupille qui limite la rotation de
la partie mobile, et faire correspondre les repères 'O'. Les 2
parties peuvent être séparées.

• Chaque partie peut également être
condamnée séparément.
• Possibilité de condamnation en
position "1" (ON) lorsque cela
correspond à une position de sécurité.
Utilisez une pince pour casser la
languette.
►MAINTENANCE
• Vérifier régulièrement le serrage des bouchons et presse-
étoupe.
• S’assurer que le poids du câble souple s’exerce sur le presse-
étoupe et non sur les bornes des contacts.
• Contrôler la propreté des contacts côté charge. Éliminer
tout dépôt à l’aide d’un chiffon propre ou d'air comprimé. Ne
pas limer ou meuler les contacts sous peine d’endommager
les pastilles d’argent-nickel.
• Inspecter régulièrement les joints d’étanchéité. Les
remplacer si nécessaire.

This instruction sheet has been prepared in English and
translated into different languages. In case of divergence, the
English version shall prevail. Download it for future use. Read
this instruction sheet completely before proceeding with the
installation. In some cases, for practical reasons, some of the
stickers are delivered separately. Affix them near the device in
a suitable and legible manner.

►GENERAL
►WARNINGS
ENGLISH
• MARECHAL ELECTRIC SAS declines any responsibility in the
event of non-observance of applicable standards and
instructions contained in this document.
EVOs is a manually operated switch-disconnector of utilization
categories AC-22A, AC-23A and AC-3 (IEC/EN 60947-1 and -3).
It can make and break in complete safety mixed resistive and
inductive loads, highly inductive loads, and high overloads.
Using a tool, EVO can be separated into two parts ('supply'
part and 'load' part), allowing the replacement, without
electrical abilitation, of defective equipment by pre-equipped
equipment, without unwiring and having to isolating the
power supply upstream.
In the ON and OFF positions, its ingress protection degree is
IP67/IP69 (IEC/EN 60529). When separated, it is IP4X. Then,
IP67/IP69can be achieved with the use of caps (load-side cap
not included).
Live parts are totally inaccessible.
• These devices must be installed and maintained by a
qualified electrician.
• It is essential to respect the cross-sections of conductors
indicated in standard IEC 60947-3.

►WIRING
• EVO has up to 7 contacts, marked [1]
[2] [3] [4/N] [5] [6] and Earth. The use
assigned to contacts 1 to 6 is left to the
integrator. These contacts can be used
for power or control.
• MARECHAL® devices must be used with MARECHAL®
complementary devices only. Any repair or service must be
performed with genuine MARECHAL® parts only.
☼ The contact terminals are spring‐assisted to prevent
loosening due to strand settlement, vibration, or thermal
cycling.
• The cross-sectional area of the protective conductor must
be at least equal to the section of the phase conductors.
• Remove an adequate length of cable outer sheath,
according to the accessory used. The cable sheathing must
extend through the cord grip into the accessory as required to
achieve the intended sealing and cord gripping performance.

►INSTALLATION
• Panel mounting devices require a
straight adaptor. Respect its orientation
during its assembly.
ENGLISH
• Strip conductors' insulation to the lengths indicated. A
crimped lug may prevent the dispersion of strands of flexible
conductors.
• Do not back terminal screws completely out;
• Fully insert the conductor and tighten the terminal screws to
the torque indicated.
EVO can be installed inside or outside buildings.
 



• Accessories (adaptors, handle) are
clipped at the rear of the supply or load
part according to a defined orientation.
The largest notch (XXL) must be at 9
O’clock from the OFF marking.
• To separate the device from its rear
accessory, insert a 7 mm flat screwdriver
into the notch in this part and gently lift
the retaining tab of the rear accessory.
• The surface box may accommodate
one M40 or two M25 entries.
• EVO is delivered with an adhesive
graphical symbol of padlockable,
enclosed isolating switch with separable
envelopes. Affix this label in a clearly
visible location for the operator.

►OPERATION
ENGLISH
0. Align the two «О» marks to mate the two parts.
1. Rotate the moving part to the right. The switch is then in
open position «О» (OFF) and the two parts are locked
together.
2. Turn to the right again to close the switch in the “I” (ON)
position.
3-4. To open the switch-disconnector, turn to the left.

LOCKOUT
• Locking in position "0" (OFF).
EVO is supplied with a padlockable key that prevents its
rotation (padlock not supplied)
►SEPARATION
ENGLISH
5-6-7. To separate the source part from the load part, use a
tool to slide the pin which limits the rotation of the mobile
part, and match the 'O' marks. The 2 parts can be separated.

• Each part may also be locked
separately.
• Possibility of locking in the "1" (ON)
position when it corresponds to a safety
position. Use a plier to break the tab.
►MAINTENANCE
ENGLISH
• Ensure that the caps and cable glands are tight.
• Verify that the weight of the flexible cable is supported by
the strain relief mechanism and not by the terminal
connections.
• Check the cleanliness of contacts load-side. Any deposit can
be rubbed off with a clean cloth or compressed air. Do not file
or grind the contacts as this would damage the silver-nickel
tips.
• Inspect gaskets periodically. Replace as required.
