INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek BoomBoom 77.
Make your existing headphones wireless, Bluetooth compatible
and suitable for use with a PC or laptop, equipped with a
Bluetooth USB dongle, a mobile phone that supports Bluetooth,
an Android phone, an Android tablet, an iPhone, an iPad or a
Mac. You can even transmit the sound of your TV wirelessly in
combination with a Marmitek Bluetooth audio transmitter.
The BoomBoom 77 has a range of approx. 10 metres, enabling
limitless enjoyment of your music in the same or adjoining room.

xIn combination with a Marmitek Bluetooth audio transmitter,

FIRST USE
The BoomBoom 77 has a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend completely charging the battery before using for
the first time. Use the included USB cable to do this, plugging it
into, for example, a free USB port on a phone charger or
computer. During charging, the red LED will light up.
The first charge may take up to about two hours. Once the
BoomBoom 75 battery is completely charged, the red LED will go
off.
CONNECTING TO YOUR HEADPHONES
Connect the plug / connector of the wired headphones to the
BoomBoom 77's audio input. If necessary, use the supplied
adapter plug.
PAIRING
1. Position your BoomBoom 77 near the Bluetooth audio
source. The best distance is about 1 metre.
2. Ensure that the BoomBoom 77 is off.
3. Press the button on the BoomBoom 75 until the LED starts to
blink red and blue.
4. Switch your device’s Bluetooth function on according to the
instructions of your device and go to Bluetooth settings.
5. Scan for new devices and select the name “BoomBoom77”.
6. If the Bluetooth connection process requires a password,
enter “0000”.
7. The BoomBoom 77 will then connect to your device and the
blue LED will light up. The connection has now been made
and your device is linked to the BoomBoom 77. You can now
play and control audio from your device on your headset.

TURNING OFF
Depress the BoomBoom 77’s button for 2 seconds.
The BoomBoom 77 will switch off.
TURNING ON
Depress the BoomBoom 77’s button for 2 seconds. The
BoomBoom 77 will then automatically link to the last device it was
connected to. Only 1 device can be connected at once with the
BoomBoom 77. If your device does not connect automatically,
please consult the Bluetooth transmitter's user manual (Marmitek
transmitter, etc.) to pair with the BoomBoom 77.
PAIRING WITH ANOTHER DEVICE
You can easily pair the BoomBoom 77 with another Bluetooth
device. Select the already paired device and shortly press the
power button. The BoomBoom 77 will now enter its pairing mode.
STANDBY/AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
If the BoomBoom 77 is in connecting mode and no connection is
made within 20 seconds, the BoomBoom 77 will switch to standby
setting (blue LED blinks). If no connection is made for 10 minutes,
the BoomBoom 77 will automatically switch off if it runs on
batteries. If you wish to use the BoomBoom 77, you must switch it
on again.
BATTERY LIFE AND STANDBY TIME
Once the battery has been fully charged it will last for about 4
hours. You can use the BoomBoom 77 with the mains adapter
supplied. The battery then remains charged and the BoomBoom
77 will not switch off after 10 minutes, but will remain on standby.

will blink. Follow the steps given earlier to charge the battery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am unable to pair my BoomBoom 77.
Check the following:
1. Ensure that the power adapter is connected and/or that the
battery is fully charged.
2. Ensure that the Bluetooth function on your mobile telephone
is on (check your phone's manual for reference).
3. Ensure that the distance between your mobile phone and the
BoomBoom 77 is no greater than 10 metres and that there
are no large obstacles in the way.
What is xptX Low Latency?
aptX Low Latency ensures a very short audio delay of less than
40 ms. With a regular Bluetooth connection, this is more than 100
ms. Both the transmitter and the receiver must have aptX Low
Latency to be able to use this feature. With the BoomBoom 55
and 77, the LED lights up green to indicate an aptX Low Latency
connection.
