Supplies Needed for Quick Connect Retrot:
1. Tamper Proof Seal
2. Tamper Proof Stickers
3. Zip tie
4. Dry pack
5. Quick connect receptacle
6. Quick connect receptacle
7. Replacement screw
1. Remove the warranty stickers.
2. Cut away the tamper proof seal.
3. Remove screws holding the lid to the housing.
Supplies Needed for Hard Wire Retrot:
1. Tamper Proof Seal
2. Tamper Proof Stickers
3. Strain Reliefs
4. Lengths of open ended, non-prepared cables
5. Replacement screw
6. Zip tie
7. Dry pack
Converter with plugs and tamper seal

4. Remove the stainless
steel plugs.
5. Dip Switches in the
“O” position before
installing output
connectors/wires.
If you are installing quick
connect connectors,
proceed to step 6.
6. Screw the quick connects into
place. Install the connectors
as shown at right.
8. Using a small
standard screwdriver,
loosen the terminal
screws for terminals
23 through 27.
10. If DC power / 4-20mA output is to be added, remove
the red terminal block by pulling it up.
If you are installing
strain reliefs, go to
step to step 14.
9. Insert each lead completely into its proper terminal
and tighten the terminal screw. See the table below for
wire and terminal assignments. Do these one at a time.
Tighten each connector
to 50 inch pounds.

7. Remove the
green terminal
block by pulling
it up.

14. Locate the strain reliefs for installation. 15. Install the strain reliefs. Tighten them to the converter
housing to 50 inch pounds.
17. Insert the open ended cables as shown.
11. Using a small standard
screwdriver, loosen the
terminal screws for the
positive and negative
terminals.
13. Insert both terminal blocks back
into the PCB board.
12. Insert each lead completely into its proper
terminal and tighten the terminal screw.
See the table below for wire and terminal
assignments. Do these one at a time.
Red Positive
Black Negative
Red terminal block
Red Positive
Black Negative
Go to step 22.
16. Remove the green and red terminal blocks by pulling
them up.
18. Using a small standard screwdriver,
loosen the terminal screws for
terminals 23 through 27 on the
green terminal block and the positive
and negative terminals on the red
terminal block.
19. Insert each lead completely into its proper terminal and tighten the
terminal screw. See the table below for wire and terminal assignments.
Do these one at a time.
Pink Output 2

Gray Output 1

Yellow Output 1-2
Negative 25
Green 4-20

DO NOT OVER
TIGHTEN! Over
tightening can
crush the inside
conductors.
21. Tighten the strain relief cable port onto the cable until
the gasket of the strain relief is tight onto the cable.
20. Insert both terminal blocks back into the PCB board.
23. Wrap the new zip tie around the new dry pack. Cut the
excess of the zip tie.
24. Install the new zip tie with dry pack onto the converter
lid.
25. Place the converter lid onto the housing. Be sure
the smaller head screws with the holes are installed
towards the back as shown.
26. Guide the Tamper Proof
Seal through the holes in
the screws as shown.
27. Run the tamper proof wire around the
channel in the plastic connector as shown.
Snap the plastic connector lid into place.
28. Apply new warranty
stickers.
22. Remove the screw holding the dry pack and zip tie on
the converter lid.
