2Product Overview
The T322X, a GPS vehicle tracker, is used for private vehicle anti-theft, official vehicle anti-theft, and personal tracking
management. The tracker supports phone voice menu for arming query, status query, and location query in long standby
mode.

3.2 Smart Voice Setting
Dial the T322X SIM card number by using an authorized mobile phone number to set the smart voice function. After dialing, the
following voice prompt is played: "Hello. Arming, press 1; disarming, press 2; query arming status, press 3; query a location,
press 4; listen-in, press 5. Thank you." Then, press the related number on the phone to enable a function.
For details about the arming and disarming functions, see section 6.4.3.
Note: Before setting the smart voice function, ensure that:
Your mobile phone number is authorized on the T322X.
The SIM card on the T322 has subscribed the caller ID service. Otherwise, the function cannot be used.
3.3 Smart Sleep Mode
The smart sleep function works differently depending on the engine.
Scenario 1: The engine is not connected during detection.
If the engine is off (ACC OFF), and the T322X had not been working for 15 minutes, it will automatically enter the power-saving
sleep mode. In this way, the GPS module does not work, and the T322X does not upload tracking data at a regular interval.
Instead, the T322X sends heartbeat data packets about the positioning cease (the GPS does not take effect) to the platform
every 60 minutes. The interval for sending heartbeat packets can be changed. If the T322X vibrates, the T322X is waken up,
continues to work normally, and reports data including heartbeat packet data at a regular interval.
Scenario 2: The engine is connected during detection.
If the engine is on (ACC ON), the T322X works normally, and uploads track data regularly.
If the engine is off (ACC OFF) and no vibration occurs, the T322X will automatically enter the power-saving sleep mode. As in
scenario 1, the T322X sends heartbeat data packets about the positioning cease to the platform every 60 minutes. The interval
for sending heartbeat packets can be changed. If the T322X vibrates or the engine starts, the T322X is waken up, continues to
work normally, and reports data at a regular interval.
Note:
If the T322X is charged by using a USB cable, the T322X has been working normally and will not enter power-saving sleep
mode.
The T322X consumes low power in the smart sleep mode. The built-in battery can work for about 50 hours without

external power supply.
3.4 Data Compression Mode –CCC
Devices communicate with each other through Meitrack protocols. The data header and ending part are in the same format as
the Meitrack protocol data format. The middle part of the data is uploaded in CCC data compression mode. For details about
the CCC data, see the T322X data analysis manual.
Note: Only proactively-uploaded data (such as timing, heartbeat, or alarm events) is uploaded in CCC format. For example,
instructions distributed by the platform and device responses are in the same format as the commands in the Meitrack
protocol manual.

6First Use
6.1 Installing the SIM Card
The following figure shows the SIM card slot:

Remove the SIM card cover, and insert the SIM card to the slot.

Note:
Ensure that the SIM card has sufficient balance.
Ensure that the phone card PIN lock has been closed.
Ensure that the SIM card on the T322X has subscribed the caller ID service if you want to use your authorized phone
number to dial the SIM card.
Power off the T322X before installing the SIM card.
6.2 Indicator

Use any of the following ways to start the T322X:
Press and hold down the power button for 3 to 5 seconds.
Connect the T322X to a computer by using a USB cable.
Connect the T322X to an external power supply.
Note: If the T322X is charged by using a USB cable or connecting an external power supply, the T322X has been working. To
restart the T322X, just press and hold down the power button.

6.3 Configured on a Computer
This section describes how to use MEITRACK Manager to configure the T322X on a computer.

1. Install the USB driver and MEITRACK Manager.
2. Connect the T322X to a PC with a USB cable.
3. Run MEITRACK Manager, and start the T322X. Meitrack Manager will automatically detect the T322X port number and
read T322X parameters.

6.4 Tracking and Anti-Theft
6.4.1 Querying a Location by Using a Mobile Phone
Perform the following steps to query a location:
1. Use a mobile phone with an authorized phone number to call the T322X SIM card number. The calling enters the smart
voice mode automatically.
2. Press 4 on the mobile phone according to the voice prompt. An SMS report about the T322X address link will be received.
3. Click the link to view the T322X location on the map.

You can configure the T322X on a mobile phone.
Note:
1. The default password is 0000. You can change the password by using Meitrack Manager and SMS command. For details,
see section 6.3 "Configured on a Computer."
2. The T322X can be configured by SMS commands with a correct password. After an authorized phone number is set, only
the authorized phone number can receive an SMS report about a preset alarm event.
3. If the authorized phone number is used to send SMS commands, no password is required. To set parameters, you only
need to send related commands and parameters, for example, A12,6,0.
6.4.2 Setting Authorized Phone Numbers
Command: 0000,A71,Authorized phone number 1,Authorized phone number 2,Authorized phone number 3

Note:
Authorized phone number: a maximum of 16 bytes. Phone numbers are empty by default.
Authorized phone number 1: Set the phone number to the SOS number. When the phone number is used to call a device,
the following information will be received: SMSs about the location, geo-fence alarm, and low battery alarm, and calls
and SMSs about vehicle door opening and ignition.
If you want to delete all authorized phone numbers, run 0000,A71.
When the SOS button is pressed, the tracker dials phone numbers 1, 2, and 3 in sequence. The tracker stops dialing when
a phone number responds. If the call is not answered after phone number 3 is dialed, the dialing ends.

6.4.3 Setting Anti-Theft
An SMS command, phone, or platform command can be used to set anti-theft.
You are advised to use the buzzer (optional accessory) to enhance the protection. Set an authorized phone number to ensure
that SMSs and calls can be received when a vehicle is stolen.
Set by voice: Dial the T322X SIM card number by using an authorized mobile phone number to set the smart voice
function. After dialing, the following voice prompt is played: "Hello. Arming, press 1; disarming, press 2; query arming
status, press 3; query a location, press 4; listen-in, press 5. Thank you." Then you press 1 to set arming status.
Set by SMS command: Set arming or disarming by SMS command.
SMS command: 0000,B21,Status
Response: IMEI,B21,OK
Note:
When Status is 1, enable the anti-theft function. During arming, opening the vehicle door and starting the ACC are
not allowed. Otherwise, the T322X will send an alarm SMS and make a call to the preset authorized phone number.
When Status is 0, disable the anti-theft function. During disarming, all anti-theft alarms will be cleared.

When the engine is started, the engine will be cut off, and the
buzzer does not make sounds until the anti-theft state is cancelled.

When the vehicle is stolen, you can run GPRS/SMS commands to
intercept the driving vehicle. When the vehicle speed is lower than
5 km/h, the engine is cut off, and the tracker sends alarms to
authorized phone numbers.

When the ACC is off and the vehicle vibrates continuously, a
towing alarm is generated. The tracker will dial three authorized
phone numbers in sequence and send SMSs.
Engine cut: Output ports are activated, implementing remote fuel and power cut-off functions. For details, see section 8.2.5
"Remote Power Cut-off."

7MS02 Tracking System
1. Configure parameters in any of the following ways:
Configured by SMS: Sends SMS commands 0000,A21,1,67.203.13.26,8800,APN,APN username,APN password and
0000,A12,6,0 to the tracker SIM card number.
Configured by Meitrack Manager: Connect the tracker to a PC, run Meitrack Manager to enter the main screen, and
click the Tracking tab to set parameters, including enabling the TCP, and setting the IP address, port, APN, and GPRS
tracking interval.
2. Visit ms02.trackingmate.com, and enter the user name and password. Contact us if you have no account or forget the
password.
3. Go to the map, and choose Manage > Admin.
4. Select a user, and click Add a New Device.

5. Obtain the tracker IMEI number from the packing or Meitrack Manager, register a device, set the parameters shown in
the following figure, and then click Save.
6. Double-click a device in the panel on the right, and check whether data is updated in Status.

8Installing the T322X
8.1 (Optional) Installing the GPS Antenna
If the GPS antenna is installed in a vehicle and the signal is weak, install an external GPS antenna to strengthen the signal.
Connect the GPS antenna to the GPS port. The antenna had better face the sky. Fasten the antenna by using the glue.
Note: Do not install the GPS antenna at places where metals cover.

respectively.
8.2.4 ACC and Door Detection
Different models of cars may be triggered differently. Connect the door detection after a correct trigger mode is set for the
tracker.

Note: To implement remote fuel and power cut-off, connect the relay to the fuel pump power cable or the engine power cable
in series.

8.3 Mounting the T322X
Fasten the T322X in the vehicle by using cable ties.
The T322X is portable. It can be connected to a cigar lighter of the vehicle through an RS232 port by using a USB cable (5V
input).
