Al primo utilizzo, il saldatore può produrre fumo: è il grasso che viene utilizzato durante la
produzione che evapora e non è dannoso per l’utente o per il prodotto.
ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA
La costruzione della stazione saldante soddisfa la protezione di livello I. Accertarsi che il
prodotto sia connesso ad una presa di rete dotata di messa a terra.
Tenere le apparecchiature elettriche e gli accessori lontano dalla portata dei bambini!
Non sono giocattoli. Non utilizzare il prodotto in un luogo a temperatura normale se è stato
esposto al freddo. La condensa potrebbe danneggiarlo. Attendere che il prodotto sia a
temperatura normale, prima di utilizzarlo. Non toccare mai la stazione saldante con le mani
bagnate o umide: rischio di scosse elettriche.
Accertarsi di avere sufficiente ventilazione, poiché i fumi dello stagno possono essere
pericolosi. Lavarsi le mani molto bene dopo aver utilizzato stagno contenente piombo: non
avvicinale lo stagno alle labbra e non mangiare durante il lavoro.
Proteggere i due cavi (di alimentazione e di connessione allo stilo saldante) dal calore e da
oggetti appuntiti.
Indossare indumenti protettivi e occhiali di sicurezza durante le operazioni di saldatura.
Utilizzando la stazione saldante, toccare solo il manico dello stilo saldante: le altre parti sono
molto calde! Non lasciare i bambini da soli in presenza del saldatore acceso.
Le operazioni di saldatura devono essere fatte su una superficie non combustibile.
Accertarsi che i materiali nelle vicinanze non possano essere danneggiati dal calore.
Se il prodotto non fosse operativo in piena sicurezza, scollegarlo immediatamente e fare in
modo che non possa essere acceso accidentalmente.
Il prodotto è da considerarsi non operativo in piena sicurezza se:
- mostra danni evidenti
- non funziona correttamente
- è stato immagazzinato in luoghi non idonei
- è stato sottoposto a sollecitazioni straordinarie durante il trasporto
FUNZIONAMENTO
Sballare la stazione di saldatura e verificare tutti i componenti. Evitare di utilizzare parti
danneggiate. Fissare il supporto per lo stilo a lato della stazione saldante, inumidire la
spugnetta e metterla nella apposita vaschetta con dell’acqua.
Inserire il saldatore nel suo supporto. Appoggiare la stazione su una superficie solida e
asciutta.

Collegare il cavo di alimentazione alla presa di corrente e accendere la stazione: si
accenderà la spia nell’interruttore.
Riporre sempre il saldatore nel suo supporto, durate il riscaldamento o le pause
di saldatura.
Accertarsi che i contatti da saldare siano puliti (diversamente lo stagno non
attacca).
Utilizzare stagno per elettronica. Stagno contenente acido può danneggiare la
punta del saldatore o il pezzo su cui si lavora.
Regolare la temperatura desiderata tramite l’apposita manopola.
Le aree codificate dal colore sono associate alle seguenti temperature:
Giallo circa 150°C
Arancio circa 150~270°C
Rosso circa 270~480°C
Per saldature al piombo scegliere l’inizio del segmento rosso (circa 270~360°C), per
saldature all’argento usare l’inizio del secondo segmento rosso (circa 320~420°C).
Per saldature di grandi dimensioni regolare la temperatura un po’ più alta per effettuare la
saldatura il più in fretta possibile e per il tempo necessario.
Abbassare la temperatura durante le pause fa risparmiare energia e allunga la durata della
punta.
Attendere 2-3 minuti affinché la punta del saldatore raggiunga la temperatura impostata e
verificarla toccando con lo stagno la punta stessa: se lo stagno si scioglie rapidamente,
potete iniziare a saldare.
Stagnare la punta del saldatore con lo stagno e pulire poi la punta sulla spugnetta bagnata.
Scaldare con la punta il punto da saldare e aggiungere stagno.
Lasciare che il punto di saldatura si raffreddi. Non soffiare sul punto saldato.
Pulire la punta sulla spugna dopo ogni saldatura.
Terminate le saldature, riporre il saldatore nel suo supporto e spegnere la stazione saldante.
Non limare la punta, o si danneggerà.
Non toccare mai la punta calda.
Lasciare raffreddare il saldatore dopo l’utilizzo.
Non immergerlo in acqua.
Durante le pause, riporre il saldatore sul suo supporto.
MANUTENZIONE
Questo strumento deve essere riposto sul suo supporto, quando non viene utilizzato.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, farlo sostituire dal servizio assistenza o da
personale qualificato, onde evitare scosse pericolose.
Sostituzione della punta
Nota: la sostituzione della punta o la sua pulizia devono essere fatti quando il saldatore è a
temperatura ambiente. La punta può essere sostituita semplicemente svitando il dado
zigrinato che la tiene ferma. Questa operazione deve essere effettuata a stazione spenta,
poiché se viene fatta funzionare senza la punta inserita, si danneggia. Tolta la punta,
eliminare tutti i residui di ossido che possono essersi formati nel tubo che tiene ferma la
punta. Attenzione agli occhi. Sostituire la punta e riavvitare il tubo con l’anello zigrinato,
stringendo solo a mano. La pinza può essere utilizzata solamente per riavvitare l’anello
zigrinato, se dovesse allentarsi, a saldatore caldo. Non stringere troppo.

Pulizia generale
La parte esterna del saldatore o della stazione possono essere puliti con un panno e del
detergente neutro. Non immergerli in liquidi o far entrare liquidi nella base. Non utilizzare
solventi.

On first use the soldering iron may produce smoke, this is just grease used in manufacturing
burning off, it is not harmful to the product or user.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
The construction of the soldering station meets Protection Level. Ensure the earth conductor
is not disconnected and the product is only connected to earthed sockets.
Keep electrical appliances and accessories away from children! They are not toys.
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought in from the cold into a warm
room.
Condensation might destroy your device; Wait until the product is at room temperature
before use.
Never touch the appliance with damp or wet hands there is the risk of a dangerous electrical
shock.
Make sure to have sufficient ventilation while soldering solder or solder flux can be harmful.
Wash your hands thoroughly after working with solder containing lead do not let solder
containing lead cross your lips; do not eat during the work.
The power cables (power cable and cable to soldering iron) have to be protected against
heat and sharp edges.
Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety goggles while soldering.

Do not touch any other area but the handle when the soldering iron is working. It is very hot!
Do not leave children alone in the presence of the soldering iron.
Soldering must be done on non-combustible surfaces. Make sure any material in the vicinity
can
not be damaged by the heat.
When the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and secure it
against being operated unintentionally.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
-the device exhibits visible damage
-the device no longer works
-it has been stored for a long time under unfavorable conditions
-the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
OPERATION
- Unpack the soldering station and check all parts. Damaged parts may not be put in to
operation.
- Put the holding rack for the soldering iron sideways in the soldering station, wet the
cleaning sponge in the sponge rack with water.
- Put the soldering iron tin the holding rack
- Place the soldering station on a solid and dry surface
- Connect the mains plug to a socket and turn on the soldering station by using the power
switch
(I=ON/0=OFF).when turned on, the power switch is lit
Always put the soldering iron on the holding rack when it is heating up or during
breaks from soldering
Make sure the contracts for soldering on the work place are clean
Only use solder for electronics. Acidic solder can damage the soldering tip or
the work piece
Regulate the desired temperature of the soldering iron with the adjusting knob.
The color-coded areas are equal to following temperatures:
Yellow approx. 150℃
Orange approx.>150 to 270℃
Red approx>270 to 480℃
For lead solder chose the start of the first red segment (approx.270-360℃), for silver solder
use the beginning of the second red segment (approx. 320-420℃).
For larger soldering tip adjust the temperature up wards to perform the soldering as fast as
possible and as long as necessary.
Lower the temperature during breaks, this saves energy and extends the durability of the
soldering tip.
Wait about 2-3 minutes until the soldering tip reaches the adjusted temperature, test the
temperature by touching the soldering tip with solder, if the solder melts away easily you can
start soldering.
Tin the hot soldering tip with solder; wipe off excessive solder on the wet cleaning sponge.
Heat up the soldering location with the soldering tip and add solder.
Let the soldering point cool down.
Clean the soldering tip on the wet sponge after each soldering
After finishing the soldering, put back the soldering iron in the rack and turn off the soldering
station at the main switch.
Do not file off the soldering tip, or it will be damaged.
Never touch the hot soldering tip.

Let the soldering iron cool down after use.
The soldering iron may not be dunked into water
During breaks, the soldering iron has to be placed in the holding rack.
MAINTENANCE
This tool must be placed on its stand when not in use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
TIP REPLACEMENT
Note: Tip replacement or cleaning should be done only when the iron is at room temperature
or below. The tip can be changed or replaced simply by unscrewing the knurled nut barrel
assembly. The station must be switched off and allowed to cool before and during this
operation, as damage may occur if the system is left on without the tip inserted, after
removing tip, remove any oxide dust that may have formed in the tip retaining area of the
barrel. Be careful to avoid getting dust in your eyes. Replace the tip and screw the retaining
knurled nut barrel assembly using only hand pressure to tighten. Pliers should only be used
to tighten the nut if loosening occur when the iron is hot to avoid burning your fingers. Do not
over tighten as this would damage the element.
GENERAL CLEANING
The outer case of the iron or station may be cleaned with a damp cloth using small amounts
of liquid detergent Never submerse the unit in liquid or allow any liquid to enter the case of
the station. Never use solvent to clean the case.
