Getting READY
Before you get started
You could take your OVITRELLE®pre-filled pen out of the refrigerator about half an hour
before you plan to inject, to allow the medication to adjust to room temperature.
This makes it more comfortable to inject than when it is cold.

Hold the pen with the needle pointing upwards and
look carefully at the reservoir holder. If you don't notice
a large air bubble, the pre-filled pen is ready for use.
An air bubble is large if it fills the tip of the reservoir
holder with the needle pointing upwards. There may be
some small air bubbles that stick to the inner wall of
the reservoir left in the pen - don't be concerned about
them, they don't need to be removed.
1. To remove a large air bubble
from the system, turn the
dose-setting knob clockwise until
a dot (•) is displayed in the dose
feedback window. If you go past the
dot, you can easily turn the knob back
the other way to come back to it.
