Ideal für Brillenträger
Um auch Brillenträgern ein optimales Sehfeld zu ermög-
lichen, sind MINOX Ferngläser mit Drehaugenmuscheln
ausgestattet.
Benutzung ohne Brille
Beobachter, die keine Brille tragen, drehen an beiden Okula-
ren die Augenmuscheln nach links (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn)
bis zum Einrasten heraus. In dieser Position ist der richtige
Abstand des Fernglases zum Auge gegeben.
Benutzung mit Brille
Beobachter, die eine Brille tragen, lassen die drehbaren Au-
genmuscheln an beiden Okularen in der Ursprungsstellung
(Lieferzustand), bzw. drehen die Augenmuscheln nach rechts,
bis sie spürbar einrasten. So können Sie das gesamte Sehfeld
ohne störende Beschneidung am Rand überblicken
Der richtige Augenabstand
Bitte schauen Sie in die Okulare Ihres Fernglases und winkeln
Sie die zusammenfaltbaren Rohre so lange an, bis sich aus
beiden Sehfeldern ein gemeinsames kreisrundes Bild ergibt.

Idéal pour les porteurs de lunettes
Afin que les porteurs de lunettes puissent aussi bénéficier
d’un champ de vision optimal, les jumelles MINOX sont
équipées d’œillères réglables.
Utilisation des jumelles sans lunettes
L’observateur non-porteur de lunettes tourne les œillères des
deux oculaires vers la gauche (sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre) jusqu’à leur enclenchement. Cette position assure
une distance adéquate entre la jumelle et l’œil.
Utilisation des jumelles avec lunettes
L’observateur porteur de lunettes replace les œillères des deux
oculaires sur leur position d’origine (réglage au moment de
la livraison). Pour ce faire, il tourne les œillères vers la droite,
jusqu’à encliquetage. Il pourra ainsi observer tout le champ
de vision, sans restrictions, jusqu’aux bords de l’image.
Positionnement de l’écart interpupillaire
Pour ce réglage, regarder au travers des deux oculaires de sa
jumelle puis, écarter ou rapprocher les deux tubes, jusqu’à
ce que les deux champs de vision observés ne forment plus
qu’une image circulaire, unique.
Ideal for people wearing glasses
To ensure that people wearing glasses also have an optimal
field of view MINOX binoculars are fitted with rotating
eyecups.
For use without wearing glasses
Those who do not wear glasses must turn the eyecups at
both eyepieces in counterclockwise direction until they
engage in the extended position. The binoculars are now
set at the correct distance to the eyes.
For use with glasses
Those who wear glasses must leave the rotating eyecups on
both eyepieces in the original position (as delivered) or, if
necessary, turn the eyecups in clockwise direction until they
noticeably engage. In this setting you can enjoy the entire
field of view without disturbing interference at the edges.
The right distance between the eyes
(inter-pupillary distance)
Look into the eyepieces of your binoculars and adjust the
angle of the hinged tubes until you have a singular circular
viewing field from both fields of view.

Focusing
Réglage de la netteté
Um eine optimale Bildschärfe zu erreichen, ist es notwendig,
die Optik des Fernglases auf die individuelle Sehleistung Ihrer
Augen abstimmen. Dazu gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:
(a)Visieren Sie als erstes ein weit entferntes, fest stehendes
Beobachtungsobjekt an. Bei geschlossenem linken Auge dre-
hen Sie den zentralen Mitteltrieb so lange, bis das Beobach-
tungsobjekt für Ihr rechtes Auge die optimale Scharfstellung
erreicht.
(b)Ziehen Sie jetzt den Einstellknopf vom zentralen Mittel-
trieb nach vorne bis er einrastet. Visieren Sie nun das selbe
Beobachtungsobjekt an und drehen Sie bei geschlossenem
rechten Auge diesen Einstellknopf, bis Sie für das linke Auge
die optimale Scharfstellung erreichen.
(c) Schieben Sie abschließend den Einstellknopf in den zentra-
len Mitteltrieb zurück. Ihr MINOX Fernglas ist nun individuell
auf die Sehleistung Ihrer Augen abgestimmt.
Für die Beobachtung verschiedener Objekte in unterschiedli-
chen Entfernungen werden Sie immer auch die Scharfstellung
regulieren müssen. Dafür benutzen Sie jetzt bitte nur noch
den zentralen Mitteltrieb.

Pour obtenir une vision optimale, il faut adapter l’optique de
la jumelle à la vue personnelle de l’observateur. Pour ce faire,
procéder comme suit:
(a)Visez tout d’abord un objet fixe situé dans le lointain. Puis,
après avoir fermé l’œil gauche, tournez le bouton central de
commande jusqu’à obtention d’une vision optimalement nette
de ce même objet avec votre œil droit.
(b)Maintenant, poussez le bouton de réglage de la commande
centrale vers l’avant jusqu’à son encliquetage. Ensuite, visez le
même objet et, après avoir fermé l’œil droit, tournez le bouton
de réglage jusqu’à obtention d’une image optimalement nette
avec l’œil gauche.
(c) Finalement, repoussez le bouton de réglage de la commande
centrale en position initiale. Votre jumelle MINOX est désormais
adaptée à votre vision personnelle.
Pour l’observation d’autres objets situés à différentes dis-
tances, il suffit de mettre respectivement au point à l’aide du
bouton central de commande.
For pin-sharp definition you must adjust the optics of the
binoculars to your individual eye vision. To do this, please
proceed as follows:
(a)Firstly, select a distant stationary object. Look at it through
the binoculars with your left eye closed and adjust the central
focusing wheel until the object is sharp for your right eye.
(b)Next, slide the central focusing dial towards you until it
engages. Look at your previously selected object through
the binoculars with your right eye closed and turn this dial
until same object is sharp for your left eye.
(c)Slide the dial of the central focusing wheel back into its
original position. Your MINOX binoculars should now be set
to the individual setting of both eyes.
For the observation of different objects at varying distances
you will always have to adjust the focusing. To do this,
please now just use the central focusing.

Anbringung eines Statives
Attaching a tripod
Installation sur un trépied
Um eine verwacklungsfreie Beobachtung zu gewährleisten,
empfiehlt es sich, gerade bei höheren Vergrößerungen, ein
Stativ einzusetzen. Dafür verwenden Sie den im Zubehör op-
tional erhältlichen MINOX-Stativadapter (Best.-Nr. 69727).
Entfernen Sie auf der Unterseite des Fernglases die Abdeck-
schraube (6) und bringen Sie dort den MINOX Stativadapter
an. Die Abdeckschraube bewahren Sie bitte gut auf und brin-
gen diese nach Entfernung des Stativadapters wieder an.

Conseils d’entretien
Verunreinigungen beeinträchtigen die Helligkeit Ihres MINOX
Fernglases. Deshalb empfehlen wir, Fingerabdrücke, Staub und
andere Verunreinigungen der Objektiv- und Okularoberflä-
chen mit einem weichen Haarpinsel oder dem speziellen
MINOX Optik-Tuch (Best.-Nr. 99605) zu entfernen.
Auf der Unterseite eines jeden MINOX Fernglases finden Sie
dessen Fabrikationsnummer. Für den Verlustfall ist es wichtig,
dass Sie sich diese Nummer bitte notieren.

Pour une observation exempte de tremblements, en parti
culier lors de l’utilisation de forts grossissements, l’usage d’un
trépied est conseillé. On peut installer ce dernier à l’aide de
l’adaptateur de trépied MINOX proposé en option (code
N° 69727). On l’installe après avoir enlevé la vis de protec-
tion (6) située sous la jumelle. Il faut revisser sur la jumelle
après utilisation du trépied.
For shake-free viewing we recommend the use of a tripod,
especially for high-power magnification. For this purpose,
use the MINOX tripod adapter which is available as an op-
tional accessory (Order no. 69727). Remove the cover screw
(6) on the bottom of the binoculars and attach the MINOX
tripod adapter in its place. Keep the cover screw in a safe
place and replace it after removing the tripod adapter.
Les souillures risquent de provoquer une diminution dans la
luminosité de votre jumelle MINOX. Nous conseillons donc
d’éliminer les traces de doigts, la poussière ou autres impro-
pretés de la surface des objectifs et des oculaires à l’aide
d’un pinceau fin ou d’un chiffon optique spécial MINOX
(Code N° 99605).
Au dos de chaque jumelle MINOX figure son numéro de fabri-
cation. Il est important de noter cette référence: elle peut se
révéler utile en cas de perte.
Soiling impairs the brightness of your MINOX binoculars.
We therefore recommend always removing fingerprints,
dust and other forms of soiling on the surfaces of the lens
and eyepieces using a soft hair brush or the special MINOX
Lens-Cleaner (Order number. 99605).
On the bottom of each pair of binoculars you will find the
factory number. It is important that you make a note of this
number for the event of loss.
