ParaSystems,Inc. (ParaSystems)warrants this equipment,when properly appliedand
operatedwithin specified conditions,againstfaulty materials (excludingthe batteries) or
workmanshipfor a period of three years from the dateof purchase. ParaSystems Inc.
(Para Systems) warrants the batteries for a period of two years from the date of pur-
chase. Forequipment siteswithin theUnited Statesand Canada,this warrantycovers
depot repair or replacement of defective equipment at the discretion of Para Systems.
Depotrepair will be from the nearest authorized service center. The customerpaysfor
shipping the product to Para Systems. Para Systems pays ground freight to ship the
product back to the customer. Replacement parts and warranty labor will be borne by
Para Systems. For equipment located outside of the United States and Canada, Para
Systems only covers faulty parts. Para Systems products that are depot repaired or
replaced pursuant to this warranty shall only be warranted for the unexpired portion of
the warranty applying to the original product. This warranty applies only to the original
purchaserwho musthave properlyregistered theproduct within10 daysof purchase.
Thewarranty shallbe voidif (a)the equipmentis damaged by the customer,isimprop-
erlyused, issubjected toan adverse operating environment, or is operated outside the
limitsof its electricalspecifications; (b)the equipment isrepaired or modified by anyone
otherthan Para Systems or ParaSystems approved personnel; or (c)has been used in
amanner contraryto theproduct’s User'sManual orother written instructions.
Anytechnical advicefurnished beforeor after delivery in regard to use or applicationof
ParaSystems’equipment isfurnishedwithout charge andon the basisthatit represents
Para Systems’ best judgment under the circumstances, but it is used at the recipient’s
solerisk.
EXCEPTASPROVIDED HEREIN, PARASYSTEMS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EX-
PRESSEDORIMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIESOFMERCHANTABILITYANDFIT-
NESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE. Some statesdonotpermit limitation of implied
warranties;therefore, theaforesaid limitation(s) may notapply tothe purchaser.
EXCEPTAS PROVIDEDABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL PARASYSTEMS BE LIABLE
FORDIRECT,INDIRECT,SPECIAL,INCIDENTAL,OR CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES
ARISINGOUTOFTHE USEOF THIS PRODUCT,EVENIFADVISEDOFTHE POSSI-
BILITYOFSUCH DAMAGE. Specifically, Para Systemsis not liablefor any costs,such
as; labor for on-site installation, on-site maintenance or on-site service, lost profits or
revenue,loss of equipment,loss of useof equipment, lossof software, lossofdata, cost
ofsubstitutes, claims by third parties, or otherwise. The sole andexclusive remedyfor
breachof anywarranty, expressed or implied, concerning Para Systems’products and
theonly obligation of Para Systems hereunder, shall be depot repairor replacementof
defective equipment, components, or parts; or, at Para Systems’ option, refund of the
purchase price or substitution with an equivalent replacement product. This warranty
givesyou specificlegal rights and you mayalso haveother rightswhich vary from state
tostate.
No employee, salesman, or agent of Para Systems is authorized to add to or vary the
terms of this warranty.
