After installation work has been completed, explain the “Safety Precautions,” use,
and maintenance of the unit to the customer according to the information in the
Operation Manual and perform the test run to ensure normal operation. Both the
Installation Manual and Operation Manual must be given to the user for keeping.
These manuals must be passed on to subsequent users.

This mark is for R32 refrigerant only. Refrigerant type is written on nameplate of outdoor unit.
In case that refrigerant type is R32, this unit uses a ammable refrigerant.
If refrigerant leaks and comes in contact with re or heating part, it will create harmful gas and there is risk of re.
Read the OPERATION MANUAL carefully before operation.
Service personnel are required to carefully read the OPERATION MANUAL and INSTALLATION MANUAL before operation.

• Theunitmustbesecurelyinstalledonastructurethatcansustain its
weight.
• Theapplianceshallbestoredinawell-ventilatedareawheretheroomsize
correspondstotheroomareaasspeciedforoperation.
• Iftheairconditionerisinstalledinasmallroomorclosedroom,measures
mustbetaken topreventtherefrigerantconcentrationinthe roomfrom
exceedingthe safetylimit inthe eventof refrigerantleakage. Shouldthe
refrigerantleakandcausetheconcentrationlimittobeexceeded,hazards
duetolackofoxygenintheroommayresult.
• Keepgas-burningappliances,electricheaters,andotherresources(igni-
tionsources)awayfromthelocationwhereinstallation,repair,andotherair
conditionerworkwillbeperformed.
Ifrefrigerantcomesintocontactwithaame,poisonousgaseswillbere-
leased.
• Ventilatetheroomifrefrigerantleaksduringoperation.Ifrefrigerantcomes
intocontactwithaame,poisonousgaseswillbereleased.
• Allelectricworkmustbeperformedbyaqualiedtechnicianaccordingto
localregulationsandtheinstructionsgiveninthismanual.
• Useonlyspeciedcablesforwiring.Thewiringconnectionsmustbemade
securelywithnotensionappliedontheterminalconnections.Also,never
splicethecablesforwiring(unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisdocument).
Failuretoobservetheseinstructionsmayresultinoverheatingorare.

Wheninstallingorrelocating,orservicingtheairconditioner,useonlythe
speciedrefrigerantwrittenonoutdoorunittochargetherefrigerantlines.Do
notmixitwithanyotherrefrigerantanddonotallowairtoremaininthelines.
Ifairismixedwiththerefrigerant,thenitcanbethecauseofabnormalhigh
pressurein therefrigerant line, andmay result in an explosionand other
hazards.
Theuseofanyrefrigerantotherthanthatspecifiedforthesystemwill
causemechanical failureorsystemmalfunctionorunitbreakdown.Inthe
worstcase, thiscould lead to a seriousimpediment tosecuring product
safety.
• Theapplianceshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithnationalwiringregula-
tions.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)with

• Donot usemeans to acceleratethe defrostingprocess or toclean, other
thanthoserecommendedbythemanufacturer.
• Theapplianceshallbestoredinaroomwithoutcontinuouslyoperatingig-
nitionsources(forexample:openames,anoperatinggasapplianceoran
operatingelectricheater).
• Donotpierceorburn.
• Beawarethatrefrigerantsmaynotcontainanodour.
• Pipe-workshallbeprotectedfromphysicaldamage.
• Theinstallationofpipe-workshallbekepttoaminimum.
• Compliancewithnationalgasregulationsshallbeobserved.
• Keepanyrequiredventilationopeningsclearofobstruction.
• Donotuselowtemperaturesolderalloyincaseofbrazingtherefrigerant
pipes.
• Whenperformingbrazingwork,besuretoventilatetheroomsufciently.
Makesurethattherearenohazardousorammablematerialsnearby.
Whenperforming thework in aclosed room,small room, orsimilar loca-
tion,make surethat thereare no refrigerant leaks beforeperforming the
work.
Ifrefrigerantleaksandaccumulates,itmayigniteorpoisonousgasesmay
bereleased.
