1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der Lautsprecher UWS-130 eignet sich speziell für
den Betrieb unter Wasser bis max. 5 m Tiefe, z. B.
in einem Schwimmbecken. Durch seine Impedanz
von 8 Ω lässt er sich direkt an einen niederohmigen
Lautsprecherausgang eines Verstärkers anschlie-
ßen. Mit einer Belastbarkeit von 15 W Sinus kann
ein einzelner UWS-130 ein Wasservolumen von
ca. 25 m3ausreichend beschallen.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen erforderlichen
Richtlinien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekenn-
zeichnet.
GSchützen Sie den Lautsprecher vor Eis und Frost
(zulässiger Einsatztemperturbereich: 1 – 40 °C).
GWird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht
fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen
oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und

2) Den Lautsprecher mit dem Lautsprecheraus-
gang des Verstärkers verbinden. Beim An-
schluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf
achten, dass diese alle gleich gepolt werden
(z. B. blaue Ader = Minusanschluss) und dass
die Mindestlastimpedanz des Lautsprecheraus-
gangs am Verstärker nicht unterschritten wird.
3) Ist ein Erdungsanschluss vorhanden, z. B. am
Verstärker, kann hieran die grün-gelbe Ader der
Lautsprecherleitung angeschlossen werden.
Durch die Schutzisolierung des Lautsprechers
ist eine Erdung aber nicht unbedingt erforderlich.

3 Montage
Vor der Montage zuerst einen Probebetrieb durch-
führen, um die optimale Abstrahlstelle zu ermitteln.
Die empfohlene Einbautiefe beträgt 1 – 1,2 m
unterhalb der Wasseroberfläche. Tiefer als 5 m
darf der UWS-130 nicht verwendet werden. Bei der
Installation von mehreren Lautsprechern wird ein
Abstand von 10 – 12 m empfohlen. Den/die Laut-
sprecher an geeigneter Stelle festschrauben und
die beiliegenden Kappen (a) zum Abdecken der
Schrauben aufstecken.
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
VORSICHT! Außerhalb des Wassers lässt sich der
abgestrahlte Schall schlecht wahrnehmen. Des-
halb kann der UWS-130 leicht durch eine zu hohe

werden. Es wird darum empfohlen, ein Lautspre-

Underwater Speaker
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
The underwater speaker UWS-130 is ideally suited
for operation in the water up to a maximum depth
of 5 m, e. g. in swimming pools. Due to its 8 Ω
impedance, it allows direct connection to the low-
impedance speaker output of an amplifier. With a
power capability of 15 W RMS, an individual UWS-
130 speaker will provide a sufficient sound for a
water volume of approx. 25 m3.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all required directives
of the EU and is therefore marked with .
GProtect the speaker against frost and ice (admis-
sible ambient temperature range: 1 – 40 °C).
GNo guarantee claims for the speaker and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or mate-
rial damage will be accepted if the speaker is
used for other purposes than originally intended,
if it is not correctly installed or connected, or if it
is overloaded.
3 Installation
Prior to installation, perform a trial operation to
find the position for optimum sound radiation. It
is recommended to install the speaker at a depth
of 1 – 1.2 m below the water surface. Never use
the UWS-130 for depths exceeding 5 m. When
installing several speakers, a distance of 10 – 12 m
is recommended. Find a suitable position to screw
on the speaker/speakers and cover the screws
with the caps (a) provided.
4 Electrical Connection
CAUTION! The sound radiated from the speaker
is hard to hear when you are out of the water.
Therefore, the UWS-130 will be easily damaged if
the volume adjusted on the amplifier is too high.

the environment. 1) The amplifier for operating the UWS-130 should
preferably be placed at a distance of 10 m to the
swimming pool. Always protect it against splash
water and humidity. Switch off the amplifier
before connecting the speaker!
2) Connect the speaker to the speaker output of
the amplifier. When connecting several speak-
ers, make sure that all speakers have the same
polarity (e. g. blue core = negative connection)
and that the load impedance of the speaker out-
put on the amplifier will not fall below the mini-
mum value.
3) If a ground connection is provided, e. g. on the
amplifier, connect the green-yellow core of the
speaker cable to ground. However, due to the
protective insulation of the speaker, a connec-
tion to ground is not essential.

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant
lʼinstallation et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y
reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Le haut-parleur UWS-130 est spécialement adapté
pour une utilisation sous lʼeau à une profondeur
maximale de 5 mètres, par exemple dans une pis-
cine. Grâce à son impédance de 8 Ω, il peut être
relié directement à une sortie haut-parleur basse
impédance dʼun amplificateur. Avec une puissance
de 15 WRMS, un seul UWS-130 peut suffire pour un
volume dʼeau de 25 m3environ.
2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives
nécessaires de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc
le symbole .
GProtégez le haut-parleur de la glace et du gel
(température ambiante admissible 1 – 40 °C).
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si le
haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas cor-
rectement installé, branché ou sʼil y a surcharge ;
en outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
3 Montage
Avant le montage, effectuez un test de fonctionne-
ment pour déterminer le positionnement optimal de
rayonnement. La profondeur de montage recom-
mandée est de 1 m à 1,2 m sous la surface de
lʼeau. Le UWS-130 ne doit pas être utilisé pour une
profondeur supérieure à 5 m. Si vous installez plu-
sieurs haut-parleurs, une distance de 10 à 12 m est
recommandée. Vissez le(s) haut-parleur(s) à lʼen-
droit voulu et placez les caches (a) livrés pour cou-
vrir les vis.
4 Branchement électrique
ATTENTION ! Hors de lʼeau, lʼaudibilité du son
diffusé peut être mauvaise. Cʼest pourquoi le
UWS-130 peut être facilement endommagé par
un volume réglé trop fort sur lʼamplificateur. Il est
recommandé dʼinsérer un module de protection de

2) Reliez le haut-parleur à la sortie haut-parleur de
lʼamplificateur. Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-
parleurs, veillez à ce quʼils aient tous la même
polarité (par exemple conducteur bleu = bran-
chement moins) et à ce que lʼimpédance mini-
male de charge de la sortie haut-parleur sur
lʼamplificateur ne soit pas inférieure.
3) Si un branchement masse est prévu, par exem-
ple sur lʼamplificateur, on peut relier ici le con-
ducteur vert-jaune du câble haut-parleur. Une
mise à la terre nʼest pas impérative grâce à lʼiso-
lation de protection du haut-parleur.

1 Possibilità dʼimpiego
Il diffusore UWS-130 è adatto in modo particolare
per lʼimpiego sottʼacqua fino ad una profondità di
5 m max., per esempio in una piscina. Grazie alla
sua impedenza di 8 Ω può essere collegato diretta-
mente allʼuscita a bassa impedenza di un amplifi-
catore. Con una potenza di 15 Weff., un singolo
UWS-130 è in grado di sonorizzare sufficiente-
mente un volume dʼacqua di 25 m3.
2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso
Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive richieste
dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .
GProteggere il diffusore dal ghiaccio e dal gelo
(temperatura ammessa: 1 – 40 °C).
GNel caso dʼuso improprio, di montaggio scor-
retto, di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico
del diffusore, non si assume nessuna responsa-
bilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a per-
sone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garan-
zia per il diffusore.
3 Montaggio
Prima del montaggio fisso conviene effettuare una
prova per individuare il punto ottimale dʼirradia-
zione. La profondità di montaggio consigliata è di
1 – 1,2 m sotto la superficie dellʼacqua. Lʼ UWS-130
non deve essere impiegato a una profondità supe-
riore a 5 m. In caso dʼinstallazione di più diffusori, è
opportuno tenerli ad una distanza di 10 – 12 m.
Avvitare i diffusori nei punti adatti e applicare i cap-
pucci (a) in dotazione per coprire le viti.
4 Collegamenti elettrici
ATTENZIONE! Fuori dallʼacqua è difficile perce-
pire correttamente il suono irradiato. Perciò è
facile che lʼ UWS-130 venga danneggiato da un
volume impostato troppo alto sullʼamplificatore. È
quindi consigliabile inserire un modulo di prote-

lʼamplificatore, è possibile collegare qui il con-
duttore giallo/verde del cavo per altoparlanti.
Ma per via dellʼisolamento protettivo del diffu-
sore, la messa a terra non è necessaria.
