•Once the desired room temperature is reached, the thermostat knob must be slowly turned
counter-clockwise until a “click” noise indicates the thermostat has been switched off. The
switch illumination turns off. The thermostat will now maintain the room temperature by turning
on and off automatically.
•This model is also equipped with a 24-hour timer. This timer has a total of 48 segments for the
entire day, which corresponds to 30 minutes per segment. The timer can be used to set the
time and duration within a 24-hour cycle during which the heater is to be switched on.
Timer operation
In the middle area, the timer has a slide switch with 3 positions. In the middle position (marked by
a clock symbol), the timer will switch the heating elements on or off according to the preset timer
segments (how to set the timer is described below). The position marked with an “I” bypasses the
timer. The timer will continue to run, but the heater is continuously powered. This means that the
heating elements are run for the entire time, if desired. In the “O” position, the timer continues to
run, but the heater is not powered.
Setting the timer
Make sure that the timer’s slide switch is in the middle position with the clock symbol.
To set the current time, turn the outer ring clockwise until the arrow matches the current time. If,
for example, the current time is 8:00 p.m., the outer ring should be turned until the number 20
matches the arrow.
Set the heater’s operating time by pulling the corresponding segments on the outer ring. After
setting the heater, the heater will operate every day at the set time with the programmed setting.
Note: The heater’s mains plug must be connected to the grid the entire time and the rocker
switches must be switched on. Moreover, the thermostat must be set accordingly to ensure that
the device switches on.
If you want the heater to work the entire time, the slide switch must be in the “I” position. If it is
necessary to change to the timer mode later, the slide switch must be pushed into the middle
position with the clock symbol.
Note: It must be noted that the heater can switch on in unobserved situations while in timer mode.
Overheating protection
1. An additional built-in safety thermostat protects the heater from overheating and switches it
off automatically. The service lamp then goes off. After a short cool-down phase (about 15
minute), the heater is ready for use again.
2. If this should repeat, first check whether the thermostat switch is correctly set or whether
objects are preventing heating operation.
