¿Qué pasa si suena la alarma de mi bomba?
1. Lea el mensaje en la pantalla y escríbalo.
2. Compruebe si la bolsa todavía tiene fórmula.
3. Compruebe que el tubo no tenga aire.
4. Compruebe que el tubo no está pisado o doblado.
5. Apague y vuelva a encender la bomba. Ahora póngala en marcha.
6. Use la tabla de resolución de problemas en la página siguiente o
consulte el manual de la bomba.

Pour the formula into the bag.

• New teal bags: add an extra 15 mL for
priming.

pump wheel.

VOL/TOTAL.
Push CLEAR. Pump
should say “0”.
Put the pump in the
backpack or attach it to
the IV pole.
Connect the bag to the end
of the feeding tube. Put the
end of the tubing into your
child’s G or NG tube.

Push RUN/PAUSE to
start pump.
When feed is done turn pump o by holding
on/o for 3 seconds.
* If feed is not done, press pause, refill bag,
reset pump if needed, and press run.
* Keep bag in fridge between feeds or when
bag is not in use.

What if my pump alarms?
1. Read message on screen and write it down.
2. Check that the bag has formula in it.
3. Check the tubing does not have air in it.
4. Check that the tubing is not pinched or bent.
5. Turn the pump o and then back on, and reset your pump.
6. Follow troubleshooting chart on the next page or check pump
manual.
7. If pump still alarms call Home Care for help at 425-482-4000 and
ask for the nutrition team.

Alarm type What do do
No Flow In This alarm detects a blockage in the tubing between the bag and
pump. Check for tubing kinks. Take out the cassette and reload. If
this does not help, change the bag and clean the sensor area. If the
alarm continues, contact Home Care Services.
No Flow Out This alarm detects a blockage in the tubing between the pump and
the patient. Check for kinks. Flush the feeding tube with water to
make sure the feeding tube is not clogged. Turn o the pump and
reload the cassette. If this does not help, change the bag and clean
the sensor area. If the alarm continues, contact Home Care Services.
Low Batt Charge the battery. Check if the outlet is working and the pump is
charging.
No Food The pump is detecting air in the tubing. Make sure there is formula
in the bag and there are no kinks in the tubing. If the formula is
foamy, let it sit for 10 minutes before pouring into the bag. Try
changing the bag. If the alarm continues, contact Home Care
Services.
Push Run to Feed The pump has been in the “Pause” mode for more than 2 minutes.
Press RUN to continue feeds or turn the pump o if not in use.
Erra-Errz The initial self-test has failed. Turn the pump o, then on again. If
this continues, call Home Care Services.
