Muratec’s MFX-1500 is a no-holds-barred fax for

The MFX-1500 includes a 158-page document
memory, expandable to 798 pages, so you can
receive faxes into confidential SecureMail™
boxes, store up to 99 delayed commands,
warehouse documents for other faxes to
retrieve, and more. The 200-number autodialer
puts your most-needed fax numbers at your
fingertips, and the 1.7-second-per-page scan
speed whips through your transmissions.
The MFX-1500 also includes an array of new
features that are available between a wide
range of modern fax machines–regardless of
manufacturer. These features include secure
reception, fax-on-demand retrieval and other

copier, with outstanding copy quality and halftone
reproduction. Enlarge and reduce in 1 percent
increments, from 50 percent to 200 percent, and
make up to 99 sorted or stacked copies at a time.

one-touch keys and programmable keys for your

even on a network. Just add the optional RS-232C port
and you can use the MFX-1500 for faxing and scanning
from a single PC or a network. Control the MFX-1500
with any standard Class 1-compatible fax software,
including Muratec’s Multi-Functional System™
software available from your Muratec dealer.
BUILT FOR VOLUME
The MFX-1500 offers a standard paper supply of 400
sheets and optional cassettes for a maximum supply
of up to 800 sheets. With optional cassettes installed,
use letter- and legal-sized paper simultaneously for
printing, faxing and copying. And use the bypass
tray to feed special sheets – including overhead
transparencies – through your MFX-1500.
Take full advantage of the power of the MFX-1500
with optional upgrades to allow PC or network
printing and computer-to-fax interface.
Muratec’s GDI option lets you print to the MFX-1500
from any Windows application and provides
outstanding 400 dpi resolution and automatic paper
selection (with an optional cassette installed). You can
even print with the MFX-1500 on peer-to-peer and
client/server networks running the most popular
network operating systems from Novell and Microsoft.
For high-speed faxing and convenient scanning from
a PC or network, add Muratec’s optional RS-232C
interface to the MFX-1500. Then use Muratec’s MFS
software or other Class 1-compatible software –
which includes virtually all of the most popular
Windows-based fax applications – to send and
receive faxes. You can even add OCR software to turn
faxes and scanned documents into editable text.
