For carrying in the newborn position
use the long zipper on the body. Tuck in
the extra fabric and secure with turqoise
zipper.
For carrying in a baby position use the
short zipper on the hip seat.
Assembling / Carrying positions
Remember to push down the pull-
tab on the slider to lock the zipper.

Assembling / Carrying a Newborn
For carrying an newborn use the long zipper. Take out
the extension part from the pocket on the body. Tuck
in the extra fabric and secure with turqoise zipper.
Widen the bottom of the outer carrier part by
unsnapping and unfolding the edges.
For inwards newborn carrying put the buckle straps
through the top button holes to provide better neck
support.
Remove the hip seat. Fold down the hip seat pocket to
fasten it. Store the hip seat in a safe place.

Assembling / Carrying with the Hip Seat
For carrying with the hip seat use the short zipper. Fold
down the sides of the extension part for the Newborn
position. Put it into the pocket on the body.
Narrow the bottom of the outer carrier part by folding
in and snaping the edges.
Be sure to have the buckle straps out of the top button
holes if you plan to carry your child facing forward.
Unfasten and unfold the hip seat pocket and put the
hip seat in.

Assembling / Fastening
Fasten easily! Buckle rst, then button lower buttons
depending on the size of your child. Never button the
neck support buttons on the top.
To shorten the side adjuster place the end
button hole over the fasten button.

When placing your child facing
outwards, fold down the neck
support and attach it to the neck
support buttons.
Buckle and button one side rst. Place
the baby in the carrier. Fasten the other
side. Reverse the steps for removing
the baby from the carrier.

Facing outwards
Put on the baby carrier like a pullover sweater.
Place the waist belt over your hip bone. Attach the
buckle and pull the loose end to tighten the belt.

Back carrying
Loosen the side
size adjuster.
Your baby can be carried on the back from 10 to 36 months. Be sure that the baby’s head is above outer carrier
part and the baby can move the head freely. Instructions shows the process on the right side. It can be also done
on the left side.
Slip your right arm
upwards under the
shoulder strap.
Slip your left arm
downwards under the
webbing strap by the size
adjuster.
Carefully move your child
around your back under
your lifted right arm.
Slide the shoulder
strap on to your
right shoulder.
Place your left arm
through the shoulder
strap.
Place the back yoke (now in front) at a comfortable
position slightly above your chest. Tighten the waist
belt and shoulder straps.
Reverse the steps
for removing the
child from the
carrier.

• Read and follow the instructions before use.
• The soft carrier is intended for the child from 0
months age.
• Maximum weight of the child for which the
baby carrier is intended for is 15 kg.
• Monitor your child when using the baby carrier
so that the baby is securely seated at all times.
• For low birth-weight babies and children with
medical conditions, seek advice from a health
professional.
• Be aware of hazards in the domestic
environment e.g. heat sources, spilling of hot
drinks.
• Stop using the carrier if parts are missing or
damaged.
• For 0-6 months child always use the Newborn
carrying position.
• Infants must be carried facing inwards until they
can hold their head upright (approx. 5 months).
• Fasten and adjust the baby carrier properly
to prevent the child falling out through leg
opening.
• Do not use a back carrier for children younger
than 10 months.
• Make sure that the baby has sucient space for
breathing in the baby carrier.
• Check that all buckles are securely fastened
before using the baby carrier.

Safety approval
Najell Original meets the safety requirements of
the European Standard: EN 13209-2:2016.
Najell Original was developed according to U.S.
ASTM standards.
WARNING
• Your balance may be adversely aected by your
movement and that of your child.
• Take care when bending or leaning forward or
sideways.
• This carrier is not suitable for use during
sporting activities.
• This carrier has to be used by adults only.
• Use this carrier only when walking, sitting or
standing.
• Do not use the baby carrier as a car seat.
• Avoid dressing your child too warmly.
• Never lie down with your child in the baby
carrier.
• Never leave child unattended in the baby carrier.
• Remember to bend at the knees NOT the waist.

WARNING
FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD
FALL HAZARD – Infants can fall through a wide leg opening or out
of carrier.
• Adjust leg openings to t baby’s legs snugly.
• Before each use, make sure all fasteners are secure.
• Take special care when leaning or walking.
• Never bend at waist; bend at knees.
• Only use this carrier for children between 6,5 lb and 45 lb.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4 months can suocate in
this product if face is pressed tight against your body.
• Do not strap infant too tight against your body.
• Allow room for head movement.
• Keep infant’s face free from obstructions at all times.
