ATM Operator Manual xv
Note: This manual has been written for use with
terminals whose applications have been migrated to
ADI 2, that is terminals which use State Of Health (SOH)
and the new supervisor interface programs described in
the Supervisor Manual.
If your application has not been migrated to ADI 2, your
terminal's error reporting and diagnostic system will be
similar to previous generations of NCR terminals, for
example the 5070 or 5085. A list of the Operational
Exception Status (OES) codes used in the previous
generation of terminals is included. If you require
further information on error reporting and diagnostics,
refer to the documentation for one of the older terminals.
Note: To make the most efficient use of this manual,
each copy can be customised to the configuration of the
ATM for which it is to be used. If you decide to remove a
chapter, do not destroy it as your ATM may be upgraded
later.
