本製品を取り扱う前に本書の内容をよく読み、指示に従ってください。また、本製品を取り付ける前に、
取り付ける本体に添付の「ユーザーズガイド」に記載されている注意事項も参照してください。 また、増
設にあたっては、最寄りの保守サービスセンターに依頼することをお勧めします。
The User's Guide is intended to allow you toinstall and use the Dust Proof Bezel with Sensor.
N8146-91 correctly and safely. Read this manual thoroughly before handling the Kit.
In addition, refer to this guide whenever you want toknow how to use the Kit or some malfunction occurs.
Always keep this guide at hand so that you can see it when necessary.
For the server in which the Kit is installed, refer to the User’s Guide of the server.
Read “Notes on Use” carefully before handling the Kit.

This product has an effect only in the prevention from dust invasion.
It has no effect in damage from salt and corrosive gas.

製品の取り付け／取り外しについて
Installing or Uninstalling an Internal Optional Device
準備確認事項
Notes before carrying out the work
(1) 危険防止及び故障防止のため作業を行なう際には、本体装置の電源スイッチを OFF にし、電源
プラグをコンセントから抜いてください。 但し、ホットスワップ（活線挿抜）対象製品の取り付
け／取り外し時の電源スイッチの OFF および 電源プラグのコンセントからの取り外しは除きます。
To avoid electric hazard and malfunction, be sure to turn off the Power switch of this product and
unplug the power cord from an outlet before carrying out the work. However, there is no need todo
this if the internal optional device is hot-swappable.
(2) 本製品は静電気に弱い電子部品で構成されています。製品の取り付け／取り外しの際は、静電気に
よる製品の故障を防止するため静電気対策用リストストラップなどの装着により静電気を除去
してください。 また、リストストラップを使用する場合は、接地された箇所に接続して使用して
ください。
This internal optional device consists of static-sensitive electronic components. To avoid failures
caused by static electricity when installing or uninstalling the internal optional device, wear an
anti-static wrist strap on your wrist and provide earthing before carrying out the work. And also
connect a wrist strap to earth ground when you wear a wrist strap.
(3) ケーブルの取り扱い
Handling of cables
ＬＡＮケーブル等のケーブルを接続する場合も床面との摩擦によって静電気が帯電することが
あります。 帯電した状態で入出機器に接続すると機器を破壊することがありますので接続す
る前には除電 キット等を使用して除電することを推奨します。
When connecting a cable (e.g., LAN cable), static electricity may also be charged due to friction
against the floor. Connecting a charged cable with an I/O device may cause damage to the
devices. It is recommended to discharge static electricity before connecting a cable by using
neutralization apparatus and so on.
注） 静電気除電キットについて、下記の静電気除電キットについては、お買い求めの販売店
または保守サービス会社にご相談ください。

取り付け
Installing N8146-91 in Server
1. 準 備確認事項
Preparationpoint to be checked
(1) 危険防止及び故障防止のため、作業を行なう際には本体装置の電源スイッチを OFF にし、電源
プラグをコンセントから抜いてください。
To avoid danger and prevent malfunction, turn off the power of the server and unplug the power
plug from the outlet before performing the installation.
2. 増設手順
Extension procedure
※本製品を取り付けることにより、本体外形寸法が以下となります。
200.0 mm (幅) X 613.5 mm (奥行き) X 438.0 mm (高さ) (突起物含まず)
Note: The outer dimension of the server is as follows after the dust-proof bezel is installed.
200.0 mm (Width) × 613.5 mm (Depth) × 438.0 mm (Height) (Projection excluded)
①防塵ベゼル下部の平面部にネームプレートを貼り付けます。
Stick a nameplate on the flat face of the dust-proof bezel lower part.
②防塵カバーの『PUSH』文字部分を下に押して、防塵カバーを取り外します。
Push the dust proof cover as shown in figure below, and remove the dust proof cover.

③図のように防塵ベゼルの背面側からセンサ接続用ケーブルを引き出し、目詰まり検出センサに
接続します。
Pull the sensor cable from rear face of dust-proof bezel, and connect to filter replacement
sensor as shown in figure below.
④防塵カバーを元通り取り付けます。
Install the dust proof cover to dust proof bezel as shown in figure below.

⑤防塵ベゼル背面側のセンサ接続用ケーブルをブラケットで固定します。
Secure sensor cable with bracket.
⑥本体装置のフロントベゼルを開いて、上方向にスライドさせ、取り外します。
Lift the front bezel of the server as shown in figure below, then remove the front bezel.

⑦本体装置にスプリング(3 箇所)を取り付けます。
Install the 3 springs to the server as shown in figure below.
⑧防塵ベゼルを本体装置に取り付けます。
Install the dust-proof bezel to the server as shown in figure below.

ヒンジの先端を筺体の穴に差し込みます。(3 箇所)
Insert the three hinges of front bezel into the holes of server.

⑨本体装置のサイドカバーを取り外します。
Remove side cover of the server.
⑩本体装置からサブベゼルを取り外します。上下 4箇所のツメの付近を押しながら装置前面方向に
取り外します。
Remove sub-bezel of the server. Push the around catches (four places on top and bottom),
and pull the sub-bezel.

⑪図のようにサブベゼルにセンサ接続用ケーブルを通します。
Route the sensor cable in sub-bezel as shown in figure below.
⑫サブベゼルを本体装置に取り付けます。このとき、センサ接続用ケーブルが USB コネクタの奥を
通るように配線してください。
Install the sub-bezel, then pass the sensor cable through back of USB connectors.

40mmほど余裕をもたせてください
Secure about 40mm between dust-proof bezel.
センサ接続用ケーブルがサブベゼルに挟まらないよう注意してください。
Be sure not to jam the sensor cable betweenthe sub-bezel and the chassis.

⑬図のようにセンサ接続用ケーブルを配線し、本体装置内に引き込みます。
Route the sensor cable as shown in figure below.
⑭センサ接続用ケーブルのコネクタをマザーボードに接続します。
Connect the sensor cable to the connector on motherboard.
