NEC SV8100/SE MODEL – USER TERMINAL GUIDE
Refers to the operation of SV8100– digital terminals > DT310, 330 & IP terminals > DT710, 730

¾Make A Call
-lift hand piece or press SPEAKER
-Internal call press >ext key External call >Dial ‘0’ or press line key.
¾Last Number Redial
-Without lifting handset, press REDIAL button
-Press the cursor up/down to search required number
-Press # or SPEAKER to initiate call.
¾Hold
-Press HOLD key > held key flashes
-You may replace hand piece at this stage
-To retrieve call >lift hand piece & press flashing line
¾Transfer
with a call in progress:
-Press TRANSFER key
-Dial extension or external number & announce the call (Note: external calls take up 2 trunks/lines on system)
-Replace handset
¾Answer a second call
-Ask first caller to hold the line
-Press HOLD key
-Press ANSWER key & talk to second caller
-Note> toggle between both calls by pressing HOLD, and pressing required line
¾Call Forward All – extension level
-To Set> lift hand piece & Dial 741
-Dial 1to set
-Dial destination number (internal ext or external mobile)
-Replace hand piece

-To Cancel> lift hand piece & Dial 741
-Dial 0to cancel
-Replace hand piece
¾Call Forward Busy No Answer – extension level
Forwards calls after 4-6 rings and gives busy tone
-To Set> lift hand piece & Dial 744
-Dial 1to set
-Dial destination number (internal ext or external mobile)
-Replace hand piece
-To Cancel> lift hand piece & Dial 741
-Dial 0to cancel
-Replace hand piece
¾Call Pick Up
-To answer a ringing extension in your group
-Lift had piece & press P/U from the soft keys or dial *#
-For ringing extensions not in your group
-Lift hand piece & dial ** plus ringing ext number
¾Log In Log Out – IP Phones Only
-To login> enter login code & press SET soft key
-Enter password & press OK soft key
-To logout> press PROG soft key
-Press down arrow twice
-Press LOGOFF soft key
-Press EXIT
¾Background Music
-To set/cancel> Press SPEAKER Dial 725 Press SPEAKER
¾Programming A One Touch Key
-Press SPEAKER key
-Dial 751
-Press an available One Touch Key
-Dial 01
-Enter either extension number or external number including 0for an outside line.
-Press HOLD key to confirm then SPEAKER to end
-To cancel One Touch Key> press SPEAKER then 00
¾Program Internal Speed Dials
-Press PROG soft key
-Press STA soft key
-Dial location number ie 1-100
-Enter either extension number or external number including 0for an outside line
-Press HOLD
-Enter name using dial pad
-Press HOLD
-Press SPEAKER key
-To access press> DIR soft key
-Press STA soft key
-Select number by pressing up/down arrow
-Press DIAL soft keys
