Yourtractorisdesignedandmadetopull,carryand
poweravarietyofmountedortowedequipment,al-
thoughwithinsomephysicallimits.Theworkingspeed
andperformancemaydependonvariousfactors,such
asweatherandterrainconditions.Thoughthetractor
isdesignedtoperformincombinationwithavarietyof
equipment,theremaybeanumberofcombinationsofthe
aboveparametersforwhichthereisseveredegradation
ofperformanceofthetractorand/oritsmountedortrailed
equipment.Ifyounoticedegradationofperformance,
contactyourdealerforassistance,hemayhaveuseful
informationforimprovements,orakitmaybeavailable
toenhancetheperformance.
Pleasecarefullyreadandconsiderthefollowing
precautions:
•Donotusethetractorforpurposesotherthanthose
intendedbythemanufacturerandoutlinedinthisman-
ual.
•Donotusethetractorbeyonditslimitsofterraingradi-
entandstability.Usingthetractorbeyondtheselimits
mayresultinroll-overortip-over.Observetherecom-
mendationsinthismanual.
•Donotusethetractorathigherspeedsthanthoseal-
lowedbytheloadandtheenvironment.Awetsurface
orotherlowadherenceconditionsmayincreasethe
brakingdistanceorresultinvehicleinstability.Always
adaptyourtravellingspeedaccordingtotheloadofthe
vehicleandthecharacteristicsoftheroad.
•Donotusethetractornearoronsoftvergesofcanals
andbrooksorbanksandvergesthatareundermined
byrodents.Thetractormaysinksidewaysandrollover.
•Donotusethetractoronunstablecrossingsorbridges
and/oronsoftsurfacesoronesthatarenotstrong
enough.Theseconstructionsmaycollapseandcause
roll-overofthetractor.Alwaysinspectthecondition
andcarryingcapacityofbridgesandrampsbefore
crossing.
•Donotuseequipmentmountedonthetractorwhichis
notcorrectlymatchingandrmlyxed.Theuseofim-
plementsoraccessoriesthathavenotbeenapproved
orarenotcorrectlyconnectedmayincreasetheriskof
roll-overofthetractoriftheycomeloose.Ensurethat
thedimensionsofthethree-pointlinkageinterfaceof
boththetractorandtheequipmentcomplywiththecat-
egoriesdenedinISO730.Ensurethatthedimensions
andspeedofthePTOshaftonthetractorsmatchthose
oftheequipment.
•Donotusethetractorincombinationwithequipment
withouthavingconsultedthespecicOperator’sMan-
ualprovidedwiththeequipment.Thetractorisauni-
versaltooltocarry,towanddriveavarietyofequip-
ment.Thismanualalonecannotprovideyouwithall
theinformationrequiredforthesafeoperationofthe
combination.
•Donotusethetractorforpullingwork,incaseswhere
youdonotknowwhethertheloadwillyield,forinstance
whenpullingstumps;thetractormayipoverwhenthe
stumpisnotyielding.
•Becautiousthatthecentreofgravityofthetractormay
increasewhenloadsonthefront-endloaderorthe
three-pointlinkageareraised.Intheseconditions,the
tractormayrolloverearlierthanexpected.
•Donotstepdownfromthetractorwithoutshuttingdown
thePTO,shiftingthetransmissiontoparkorneutraland
applyingtheparkbrake,unlesscontinuedPTOopera-
tionisrequiredforsomeequipment,suchaspumps
orwoodchippers.Thelatterequipmentmayhavean
emergencystopdeviceontheequipmentitself,ashu-
maninterventionisneededduringoperation.Butother
equipment,engagedanddrivenbythetractorwillhave
nomeanstostopthepowertransmission,otherthan
thePTOclutchofthetractor.
•Youmusttakethenecessaryprecautions(e.g.assis-
tance)toalwaysbeawareofthepossiblepresenceof
bystanders,especiallywhenmanoeuvringinconned
areas,suchasthefarmyardandsheds.Keeppeople
awayfromthetractorduringwork.Askbystandersto
leavetheeld.Thereisnotonlytheriskofbeingrun
overbythetractor,butobjectsejectedbysomeequip-
mentmountedonthetractor,suchasarotarymower,
maycauseharm.Stonesmaybethrownfurtherthan
themowedcrop.Paythenecessaryattentionwhileop-
eratingnexttopublicroadsorfootpaths.Thrownob-
jectscanbeprojectedoutsidetheeldandhitunpro-
tectedpeoplesuchascyclistsorpedestrians.Waitto
cuttheedgeoftheeldtillitisclearofbystanders.
•Donotallowridersonthetractor;donotallowpeople
tostandontheaccesssteptothecabwhenthetractor
