1See Figure 1. Slide one Terminal Insulator (C) onto each of the wires (one RED & one BLK) in the Wire Assembly Pigtail (B) as shown.
2Remove one nut from each of the terminal studs on the Back-Up Alarm (A).
3Connect the RED wire of the harness to the (+) positive terminal of the alarm, then connect the BLK wire to the (–) negative terminal on the alarm
using the nuts from the previous step.
4Slide both terminal insulators down so that they completely cover the alarm terminal studs and nuts.

5See Figure 2. Drain the Recovery Tank (L) and disconnect the squeegee hose from the tank. Release the Latch (1) and tilt the tank out and
disconnect the vacuum motor harness connector from the main harness. Disconnect the Cable Assembly (2) from the Recovery Tank (L) and lift
the tank up and off the Tank Pivots (3) and set aside. NOTE: The back-up alarm will be mounted using pre-drilled holes.
6Mount the Back-Up Alarm (A) to the frame as shown using Screws (D) and Washers (F).
7Locate the Connector from the main harness that will be located near the mounting location of the Back-up Alarm (A). The connector will have
one GRN/BRN and one GRAY wire going to it. Remove the plug from the connector and Plug the alarm harness into this connector.
8Proceed to the next page for programming to recognize this kit. After programming, re-install the Recovery Tank (L) and reconnect the Cable
Assembly (2). Reconnect the vacuum motor harness connector to the main harness before latching the tank in the closed position. Reconnect
the squeegee hose to the Recovery Tank (L). Start the machine and test the back-up alarm for proper operation.
The alarm should sound in reverse only.

CS7000 PROGRAM CONTROLLER TO RECOGNIZE THIS KIT
See Figure 31. Turn the Key Switch (3A) to the Off position.
Press and hold both Turn Signal buttons2. (3C and 3D) and turn the key switch On. Continue to hold both buttons for 2 seconds.
The hidden configuration menu will appear on the Display Screen3. (3B). Use the Scrub Pressure Increase (3E) and Scrub Pressure Decrease
(3H) buttons to scroll through the menus until “Back-up Alarm Installed” appears.
Press the One Touch Scrub button4. (3F) to enter the submenu.
Press the Scrub Pressure Increase button5. (3E) until “Installed” is shown on the display.
Press the One Touch Scrub button6. (3F) to save the setting, and then press the Solution On/Off button (3G) to exit the submenu.
Turn the Key Switch7. (3A) to the off position to exit the hidden menus.

5See Figure 4. Open the engine cover and locate the part of the frame where the back-up alarm will mount using the pre-drilled holes. NOTE:
The backup alarm mounts just to the left of the squeegee lift cylinder.
6Mount the Back-Up Alarm (A) to the frame as shown using Screws (D) and Washers (F).
7Locate the Wire Connector from the main wiring harness next to the hydraulic reservoir. The connector will have one GRN/BRN and one BLU/
BLK wire going to it. Plug in the alarm harness to this connector.

8Proceed to Page 6 for programming instructions. After programming,
close the engine cover. Start the machine and test the back-up alarm
for proper operation.
The alarm should sound in reverse only.

5See Figure 5. Open the engine cover and locate the part of the frame where the back-up alarm will mount using the pre-drilled holes. NOTE:
The backup alarm mounts just to the right of the hydraulic manifold.
6Mount the Back-Up Alarm (A) to the frame as shown using Screws (D) and Washers (F).
7Locate the Wire Connector from the main wiring harness next to the hydraulic reservoir. The connector will have one GRN/BRN and one BLU/
BLK wire going to it. Plug in the alarm harness to this connector.

1Press and hold the Hazard (A) and Headlight Switches (B) simultaneously. Turn the Keyswitch (C) ON and wait until the Display (D) reads
“Configuration Menu” as shown.
2Press the Side Broom Raise (E) or Lower (F) switches to scroll through the list of available options.
3Once you see the appropriate option on the Display Panel (D) press the Scrub ON Switch (G) to enter the sub menu for that option.
4Once in the option sub menu, press the Side Broom Raise (E) or Lower (F) switches to switch between “Not Installed” and “Installed” and then
press the Scrub ON Switch (G) at “Installed” to enable the option. NOTE: Pressing the Scrub OFF Switch (H) at any time will take you back to
the previous level in the menu.
5Turn the Keyswitch (C) OFF.

5See Figure 6. Open the rear Door (G) and locate the Bracket (H) (part of the frame) where the back-up alarm will mount using the pre-drilled
holes.
6Remove the (3) Screws (I) that secure the rear Panel (J). Carefully pull off the rear panel, remove the brake light bulbs from the panel by rotating
1/4 turn counterclockwise. Set the panel aside.
7Mount the back-up alarm to the frame as shown using Screws (D), Washers (F) and Nuts (E).
8Locate the Wire Connector (K) from the main wiring harness behind where the rear panel was. The connector will have one GRN/BRN and one
ORN wire going to it. Plug in the alarm harness to this connector.
9Close the rear door. Start the machine and test the back-up alarm for proper operation. Alarm should sound in reverse only. Once it is confirmed
that the alarm works, reinstall the light bulbs to the rear Panel (J) and secure panel with Screws (I).
