Basic In Dash DDS Troubleshooting
Issue = No Power
•Check for 12VDC past fuse hol er.
•If no power bypass fuse an see if unit powers. MNP can
provi e fuses an hol er if necessary.
Issue = No Depth Rea ings
•Set Deep Water, Shallow Water an Keel Offset to “0.0”.
This returns all to factory settings.
•Check connection between trans ucer an isplay.
•Be sure there is at least 3 feet of istance between the
trans ucer face an the bottom. This shoul be an open
bo y of water.
•Be sure there is nothing obstructing the trans ucer face
an the bottom.
Issue = Poor Performance when Un erway
•The trans ucer face shoul be even with the bottom of the
pontoon. The front or point of the trans ucer shoul be
angle slightly higher than the back or training e ge of the
trans ucer.
•I eally the trans ucer shoul be mounte on the starboar
si e in the irection of the propeller screw as oppose to
the opposite si e of the screw.

Resetting the Alarms an Keel Offset
•For Deep Water Alarm, press the DOWN button 1 time. If a
value appears, quickly use the DOWN button to set the
value to “0.0”
•For Shallow Water Alarm, press the UP button 1 time. If a
value appears, quickly use the DOWN button to set that
value to “0.0”
•For Keel Offset (K/O), press an hol the DOWN an UP
buttons at the same time. The “K/O” Icon will begin to
flash. If there is a value in there, quickly use the DOWN
button to set that value to “0.0”
When the unit is in the factory setting there shoul be no icons in the
upper left or right of the screen It is important to let the units reset to
the epth mo e each time a setting is change . You simply o not
touch any of the other buttons once you change a setting.
The Keel Offset is particularly important since it will always subtract
that value from the istance between the trans ucer an the bottom.
Once that calculation is ma e if the result is less than 2.5 feet the unit
will always show “---“.
