PREMESSA:
L’installazione delle vasche idromassaggio deve essere fatta
da personale idoneo che deve essere in grado di dimostrare
alle autorità pertinenti la loro consapevolezza e competenza
nell’applicazione dei requisiti regolamentari nazionali relativi
alla sicurezza, cioè fornitura elettrica e idrica/smaltimento.
Il costruttore provvede a formare i tecnici addetti all’assistenza
tecnica e di conseguenza consigliamo pertanto di far eettuare
l’installazione ad un centro assistenza tecnica del costruttore.
Ogni volta che nel corso della lettura del presente
manuale si incontra il simbolo indicato, ciò signica che si
è in presenza di istruzioni importanti oppure legate alla
sicurezza del prodotto.
INSTALLAZIONE:
IMPORTANTE!
Prima di iniziare il montaggio del prodotto leggere con molta
attenzione tutte le istruzioni. Controllare che siano presenti
nella confezione tutti i componenti per il montaggio e che
non abbiano difetti evidenti, ove presente togliere la pellicola
protettiva trasparente.
L’installazione deve essere eseguita in modo che dopo
l’installazione tutti gli elementi che richiedono manutenzione
(es. pompa, componenti elettrici ecc.) rimangano accessibili.
È proibito sorreggere la vasca dalle tubazioni durante le fasi di
trasporto.
N.B.: L’installazione deve avvenire a pavimento e pareti niti.
Per ogni reclamo, presentare la fattura/scontrino unitamente al
libretto con le istruzioni di montaggio.
Le immagini e i disegni rappresentati nel manuale sono
puramente dimostrativi. Il costruttore si riserva la facoltà di
apportare modiche e cambiamenti.
INSTALLAZIONE VASCA CON TELAIO:
Per l’installazione della vasca con telaio attenersi rigorosamente
a quanto indicato nel presente manuale alla sequenza dei
disegni.
INSTALLAZIONE VASCA AD INCASSO:
Prima di costruire i muretti di contenimento è opportuno
posizionare la vasca ed eettuare i relativi collegamenti. Il
muretto rispetto al bordo esterno della vasca, può debordare
all’interno per un massimo di 1,5 cm. Il collegamento dello
scarico deve essere fatto in modo che la vasca possa essere
slata dall’incasso per eventuali manutenzioni. Per facilitare
questa operazione, è obbligatorio non ssare a pavimento la
vasca quando è incassata. In questo caso il ssaggio si ottiene
con la siliconatura dei quattro lati (vedi siliconatura pagina 38).

PROVA DI MESSA IN ESERCIZIO:
Dopo l’installazione è obbligatorio procedere a un collaudo.
Controllare che la vasca sia pulita.
Riempire con acqua ad una temperatura di ingresso di 40°C
(±5°C) no ad un livello al di sopra della bocchetta più alta in
modo da consentire al sistema di funzionare.
Accendere il sistema e farlo funzionare per un periodo minimo
di 10 minuti. Senza svuotare la vasca spegnere l’idromassaggio
e dopo un periodo minimo di 10 minuti controllare tutte le
tubazioni raccordi ecc. alla ricerca di eventuali perdite.
Dopo eventuali regolazioni o sostituzioni di parti difettose va
ripetuto il collaudo.
Per il riempimento della vasca secondo la EN 1717 occorre
evitare possibili riussi verso la rete idrica.
Occorre pertanto: qualora venga usata una rubinetteria con
immissione da sopravasca rispettare la posizione (almeno
l’altezza) della rubinetteria come da disegni pagina 6).
Qualora si utilizzi per il riempimento della vasca il collegamento
erogazione al troppo pieno interporre tra l’uscita miscelata della
rubinetteria e l’erogatore posto sulla colonna di scarico una
valvola di non ritorno (non fornita).
PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE:
Durante l’utilizzo della vasca si depositano nelle tubazioni
dell’idromassaggio piccole particelle organiche che se non
trattate possono generare proliferazione di batteri nell’impianto.
Per una perfetta igienizzazione è necessario eettuare un
trattamento dell’impianto con prodotti specici che potete
acquistare rivolgendovi ai nostri Centri Tecnologici (trovate
l’elenco aggiornato sul sito www.novellini.com alla voce
“Assistenza”) o presso rivenditori specializzati in prodotti
per l’idromassaggio. Per un trattamento temporaneo potete
utilizzare un liquido disinfettante (es: Benzalconio cloruro).
Procedere alla pulizia della vasca. Consigliamo di eettuare un
trattamento speci co anche dopo un lungo periodo di inutilizzo.
Se la vasca viene utilizzata da più persone consecutivamente è
consigliabile eettuare un trattamento di disinfezione dopo
ogni utilizzo.
È proibito fare uso o immergersi nell’acqua usata per la
disinfezione.
Al primo utilizzo della disinfezione riempire il serbatoio del
disinfettante con prodotto specico o in alternativa con
Benzalconio cloruro. Capacità del serbatoio 1litro.
INDICAZIONI SULL’UTILIZZO:
Eetti beneci:
L’idromassaggio è una tecnica specica, che nella sua versione
sioterapica viene impiegato nelle cure termali allo scopo di
riattivarela circolazione, di rilassarela muscolatura,e di apportare
beneci eetti all’epidermide. Esso consiste fondamentalmente

nel sottoporre il corpo a getti d’acqua controllati e direzionati,
che vengono miscelati a getti d’aria di varia intensità allo scopo
di produrre gli eetti desiderati. Il corpo così sottoposto al
trattamentoidroterapico,per eettodell’acquacaldasubisce una
vasodilatazione che aumenta il usso di sangue al cuore. Inoltre
il getto d’acqua eettua un massaggio continuo sui muscoli
tonicandoli, così come l’azione dei getti provoca la dilatazione
dei pori sull’epidermide favorendo la pulizia e l’idratazione
dei tessuti circostanti. Inne la pratica dell’idromassaggio è
ampiamente diusa presso gli sportivi di ogni tipo, in quanto
favorisce lo scioglimento dei muscoli dopo gli sforzi atletici,
creando una piacevole sensazione di relax e di benessere. La
notevole orientabilità degli ugelli, permette di indirizzare i getti
esattamente nei punti del corpo dove si desidera concentrare
l’azione massaggiante. La temperatura dell’acqua non deve
superare i 45°C. Il massimo relax si ottiene con una temperatura
di 36°-37°C.
REGOLAZIONE DELLE BOCCHETTE IDROMASSAGGIO:
Orientare le bocchette (C) secondo le proprie esigenze. Esse
possono essere ruotate in ogni direzione. Assicurarsi che tutte
le bocchette siano completamente prive di occlusioni e che non
siano rivolte verso l’alto, poiché all’accensione dell’impianto
potrebbero spruzzare acqua fuori dal bordo vasca. Riempire
la vasca no a coprire abbondantemente le bocchette, a
questo proposito riferirsi alla gura. Vericare, una volta
immersi nella vasca, che il livello sia quello indicato in gura,
altrimenti l’idromassaggio potrebbe non partire. L’impianto
è provvisto di un lettore di livello che impedisce l’avviamento
dell’idromassaggio se in vasca non c’è acqua a sucienza. Con
l’idromassaggio in funzione non utilizzare in vasca prodotti che
possono sviluppare schiuma quali: saponi, olii da bagno, etc.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA:
La vasca è realizzata in materiale acrilico, pertanto quando si
eettua la pulizia si deve usare un detergente liquido con una
spugna o panno morbidi. Si consigliano prodotti come “Vim
Liquido, Lysoform Casa, Cif Ammoniacal”. Per evitare il formarsi
di tracce di calcare è ideale asciugare la vasca dopo l’uso con
una pelle di daino o panno in microbra che pulisce a fondo
senza lasciare residui. Eventuali tracce di calcare si tolgono
utilizzando detergenti anticalcare specici. Per ridare lucentezza
alle superci acriliche utilizzare un normale “Polish” usato anche
per lucidare la carrozzeria delle auto.
NON USARE ASSOLUTAMENTE DETERSIVI ABRASIVI, ALCOOL,
SOSTANZE A BASE DI ALCOOL, ACETONE O ALTRI SOLVENTI.
Attenzione: l’uso di detergenti diversi da quelli raccomandati
può causare danni alla vasca e/o all’apparecchiatura
idromassaggio.
GRAFFI ACCIDENTALI SUPERFICIALI:
È possibile eleminare piccoli gra superciali utilizzando prima
una carta abrasiva ad acqua (spessore 1000) per sgrossare il
grao, poi lucidare successivamente con pasta abrasiva per
lisciare la supercie, inne ripristinare la lucentezza utilizzando
del polish. In questi casi consigliamo comunque di contattare un
centro di assistenza autorizzato.
RICERCA GUASTI:
Veriche da eettuare in caso di malfunzionamento, prima di
contattare il servizio di assistenza.
Se l’idromassaggio non si ferma:
• Se la pompa rimane sempre avviata e non si spegne con
i normali comandi, disinserire l’interruttore di sicurezza e
riprovare; se il problema persiste contattare l’assistenza.
Per nessun motivo è consigliato mettere le mani
all’impianto elettrico della vasca, contattare sempre il centro
di assistenza di zona.
SMALTIMENTO DELLA VASCA:
Per lo smaltimento del prodotto o di suoi componenti, attenersi
ai regolamenti locali in materia di smaltimento riuti. Per il
territorio Italiano D.L. vo n°22 del 5 Febbraio 1997, per gli altri
paesi della CEE direttive 91/156/CEE, 91/689/CEE e 94/62/CE.
CERTIFICATO DI GARANZIA:
Il prodotto è garantito secondo le prescrizioni del D.P.R. N.224
del 24/05/1988 per il territorio italiano e negli altri paesi CEE,
secondo la direttiva CEE 85/374 in materia di responsabilità per
danni da prodotti difettosi.
Il costruttore garantisce i propri prodotti contro i vizi di
fabbricazione e di materiale - solo se riscontrati da personale
autorizzato dall’Azienda - per un periodo di 24 mesi dalla data
di acquisto comprovata dalla ricevuta o dallo scontrino scale.
La garanzia consiste nella riparazione e/o sostituzione delle
parti che verranno ritenute difettose. È esclusa la sostituzione
completa del prodotto. Sono esclusi dalla garanzia le lampade,
le lampade spia, i fusibili, le parti in vetro, gli specchi, le parti
estetiche a meno che queste non dovessero essere riconducibili
a difettosità di produzione e non ad incuria o uso improprio. Sono
altresì escluse dalla garanzia tutte le parti ed i componenti che
dovessero risultare difettosi o danneggiati, a causa di negligenza
otrascuratezzanell’uso,dierratainstallazione omanutenzione,di
interventi da parte di personale non autorizzato, di danni dovuti
al trasporto ovvero di circostanze non riconducibili a difetti di
fabbricazione del prodotto, come sbalzi di tensione elettrica,
fulmini, elettrolisi, corrosione ed in genere in presenza di tutte
le cause derivanti e attribuibili alla natura dell’acqua e degli
impianti elettrico e idraulico di alimentazione dell’abitazione.
L’acquirente è comunque tenuto a vericare l’integrità del
prodotto prima dell’installazione, contattando immediatamente
il rivenditore o il centro di assistenza autorizzato nel caso si
riscontrassero delle anomalie. La prestazione di garanzia verrà
eettuata soltanto in presenza del documento comprovante la
data di acquisto.
In caso di interventi senza motivato difetto o per illustrazione
dell’uso del prodotto, tutte le spese sono a carico dell’acquirente.
Qualsiasi riparazione o modica eettuata da personale non
autorizzato dal costruttore, non saranno rimborsabili in garanzia,
e faranno decadere immediatamente il periodo di garanzia
residuo.
Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni
diretti o indiretti a persone, animali o cose, derivati dalla mancata
osservanza di tutte le prescrizioni contenute nell’apposito

AVANT PROPOS:
L’installation des baignoires à hydromassage doit être conée
à un personnel qualié en mesure de prouver aux autorités
concernées sa connaissance et sa compétence en matière
d’application des critères réglementaires nationaux concernant
la sécurité, notamment au sujet de la fourniture électrique,
hydrique et de leur élimination. Le Fabricant se charge de former
les techniciens préposés au service après-vente et nous vous
conseillons par conséquent de coner l’installation à un service
après-vente du Fabricant.
Dans tout le manuel, le pictogramme indiqué ci-contre
signale toujours des instructions importantes ou bien liées
à la sécurité d’utilisation du produit.
INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT!
Avant de commencer à monter le produit, lire très attentivement
toutes les instructions. S’assurer que l’emballage contient toutes
les pièces nécessaires au montage et que celles-ci ne sont pas
défectueuses, enlever le lm transparent de protection (là où il
y en a un).
L’installation doit être eectuée de manière à ce qu’après
l’installation tous les éléments nécessitant un entretien (comme
la pompe, les composants électriques, etc.) restent accessibles.
Il est interdit de soulever la baignoire par sa tuyauterie pendant
le transport.
N.B.: Eectuer l’installation uniquement après avoir ni le sol et
les murs.
Conserver la notice du produit et la facture/ticket de caisse pour
toutes réclamations.
Les illustrations et les dessins qui gurent dans cette notice sont
purement indicatifs. Le fabricant se réserve la faculté d’apporter
des modications et des variations à ses produits sans préavis.
INSTALLATION DE LA BAIGNOIRE AVEC CHÂSSIS:
Pour installer la baignoire avec châssis, respecter
scrupuleusement les instructions gurant dans cette notice ainsi
que la séquence des dessins.
INSTALLATION DE LA BAIGNOIRE PAR PANNEAUX:
Avant de construire les murets qui contiendront la baignoire,
placez la baignoire et eectuez tous les raccordements.
Prévoir une ouverture interne du muret à 1,5 cm maximum sous
le bord de la baignoire pour installer une trappe de visite.
Le raccordement du vidage doit être fait de manière à ce que
la baignoire puisse être extraite de son encastrement pour une
éventuelle maintenance. Pour faciliter cette opération, il est
obligatoire de ne jamais ancrer une baignoire encastrée au sol.
Dans ce cas, la xation se fait en siliconant les quatre côtés (voir
application de silicone, page 38).

ESSAI DE MISE EN SERVICE:
Au terme de l’installation, il est obligatoire de procéder à une
vérication.
Vérier que la baignoire est propre.
La remplir avec de l’eau à température d’arrivée de 40°C (±5°C)
jusqu’au dessus du jet le la plus élevée an de permettre au
système de fonctionner.
Allumer le système et le faire fonctionner pendant dix minutes
au moins. Sans vider la baignoire, éteindre l’hydromassage et au
bout de dix minutes vérier tous les tuyaux, raccords et autres en
quête de fuites éventuelles.
Après avoir eectué les réglages et, si nécessaire, remplacé les
éléments défectueux, procéder à une nouvelle vérication.
Après avoir rempli la baignoire selon la norme la EN 1717, il faut
éviter tout reux éventuel vers le réseau hydrique.
Pour ce faire: en présence d’une robinetterie placée au-dessus
de la baignoire, respecter la position (au moins la hauteur) de la
robinetterie conformément aux dessins des pages 6.
Silabaignoireestremplieàl’aideduraccordementdedistribution
au trop-plein, intercaler un clapet de non-retour (non fourni)
entre la sortie mitigée de la robinetterie et le distributeur situé
sur la colonne d’évacuation.
NETTOYAGE ET DÉSINFECTION:
Lors de l’utilisation de la baignoire, de petites particules
organiques se déposent dans les tuyaux de l’hydromassage
qui, si elles ne sont pas traitées, entraînent la prolifération de
bactéries dans le système. Pour une parfaite désinfection, il
faut traiter le système avec des produits spéciques que vous
pouvez acquérir auprès de nos Centres technologiques (dont
la liste gure sur notre site www.novellini.com à la rubrique
“Service Après-Vente”) ou auprès de détaillants spécialisés dans
les produits pour hydromassage. Pour un traitement temporaire,
vous pouvez utiliser un liquide désinfectant (comme le chlorure
de benzalkonium). Nettoyer la baignoire. Nous vous conseillons
d’eectuer également un traitement spécique au terme d’une
longue période d’inutilisation. Si la baignoire est utilisée par
plusieurs personnes à la suite, il est conseillé de la désinfecter
après chaque utilisation.
Il est interdit d’utiliser l’eau désinfectante ou de s’y
tremper.
Pour la première opération de désinfection, remplissez le
réservoir de désinfectant avec un produit spécique ou bien
utilisez de l’eau de javel.
Capacité du réservoir: 1 litre.
REGLAGE DES BUSES HYDROJET:
Orientez les buses (C) comme vous le souhaitez. Elles peuvent

tourner dans toutes les directions. Assurez-vous que les buses
ne sont pas bouchées et ne sont pas orientées vers le haut: à
la mise sous tension de la baignoire, elles pourraient faire gicler
de l’eau hors de la baignoire. Remplissez la baignoire jusqu’à
ce que le niveau d’eau soit bien au-dessus des buses (voir
gure). Vériez, une fois dans la baignoire, que le niveau d’eau
correspond à celui qui est indiqué dans la gure. Dans le cas
contraire, l’hydromassage ne démarre pas. L’équipement est
équipé d’un détecteur de niveau qui empêche le démarrage
du système d’hydromassage lorsqu’il n’y a pas assez d’eau dans
la baignoire. Avec l’hydromassage en marche, n’utilisez pas de
produits moussants comme des bains moussants, des huiles de
bain, etc.
REMARQUES SUR L’UTILISATION:
Les bienfaits de l’hydromassage:
L’hydromassage est une technique spécique qui, en
physiothérapie,estutiliséedanslescuresthermalespourréactiver
la circulation, détendre les muscles et revitaliser l’épiderme.
Cette technique consiste essentiellement à soumettre le corps
à des jets d’eau contrôlés et orientés, qui sont mélangés à des
jets d’air d’intensité variable, pour créer les eets souhaités. Sous
ce traitement hydrothérapique, le corps subit une vasodilatation
- par eet de l’eau chaude - qui augmente l’aux de sang au
cœur. Le jet d’eau eectue en outre un massage continu des
muscles, les toniant; de même que l’action des jets entraîne
la dilatation des pores de l’épiderme, favorisant le nettoyage
et l’hydratation des tissus. Enn, la pratique de l’hydromassage
est largement répandue chez les sportifs de tout niveau, car
favorise la décontraction des muscles après un eort physique,
créant une agréable sensation de relax et de bien-être. Les buses
pouvant être orientées à volonté, il est possible de diriger les jets
avec précision sur les points du corps où l’on souhaite concentrer
l’action massante. La température de l’eau ne doit pas dépasser
45°C. Une détente maximale s’obtient à une température de 36°-
37°C.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE:
La baignoire est réalisée dans un matériau acrylique et ne doit
être nettoyée qu’avec un détergent liquide non agressiv et une
éponge ou chion doux. Pour empêcher la formation de traces
de calcaire, essuyez la baignoire après utilisation avec une peau
de chamois ou un chion en microbre qui nettoie à fond sans
laisser de résidus. Eliminer toute trace de calcaire en utilisant
des produits détergents anticalcaires spéciques. Pour rendre
luisant la surface acrylique utiliser un “Polish” ordinaire comme
celui utilisé par les carrossiers.
NE JAMAIS UTILISER DE DETERGENTS ABRASIFS, ALCOOL,
SUBSTANCES A BASE D’ALCOOL, ACETONE OU AUTRES
SOLVANTS.
Attention: l’utilisation de détergents autres que ceux
recommandés risque d’endommager la baignoire et/ou le
système d’hydromassage.
RAYURES DE SURFACE ACCIDENTELLES:
Pour éliminer les petites rayures de surface, grattez la rayure
avec un papier de verre humide (épaisseur 1 000), lissez ensuite
la surface avec de la pâte abrasive, puis passez du polish pour
rétablir le brillant. Dans ce cas, il est toutefois conseillé de
contacter un centre d’assistance technique agréé.
RECHERCHE DES PANNES:
En cas de dysfonctionnement du système, eectuez les contrôles
suivants avant de contacter le centre d’assistance technique.
L’hydromassage ne s’arrête pas:
• Si la pompe reste toujours en marche et ne s’arrête pas avec
les boutons ON-OFF, désenclenchez l’interrupteur de sécurité
et réessayez; si le problème persiste, contactez votre centre
d’assistance technique.
N’intervenez sous aucun prétexte sur le circuit électrique
de la baignoire; contactez toujours vle centre d’assistance
technique local.
ELIMINATION DE LA BAIGNOIRE:
Pour éliminer le produit et ses pièces, respectez les
réglementations locales en matière d’élimination des déchets.
Sur le territoire italien, le Décret Loi n° 22 du 5 février 1997; dans
les autres pays de la CEE, les directives 91/156/CEE, 91/689/CEE
et 94/62/CE.
CERTIFICAT DE GARANTIE:
Sur le territoire italien, le produit est garanti conformément au
décret du Président de la République italienne N. 224 du 24-05-
1988 et dans les autres pays CEE, conformément à la directive
CEE 85/374 en matière de responsabilité du fait des produits
défectueux.
Le constructeur garantit ses produits contre tout vice de
fabrication et défaut de matière pour une période de 24 mois
à compter de la date d’achat à condition que les défauts en
question soient constatés par des personnes autorisées par la
société et que la date d’achat soit attestée par un reçu ou un
ticket de caisse.
La garantie consiste dans la réparation et/ou le remplacement
de pièces considérées comme défectueuses. Le remplacement
complet du produit est exclu. Ils sont exclus de la garantie
les lampes, les voyants, les fusibles, les parties en verre, les
miroirs et les parties esthétiques (sauf si celles-ci présentent
des vices de fabrication et non des défauts dus à un manque
de soin ou à une mauvaise utilisation). Ils sont aussi exclus de
la garantie toutes les pièces et tous les composants rendus
défectueux ou abîmés à la suite de négligence, d’une utilisation
et d’un entretien incorrects, d’interventions eectuées par des
personnes non autorisées, de dommages survenus pendant le
transport ou de toute circonstance n’ayant rien à voir avec des
vices de fabrication du produit (écarts de tension électrique,
foudre, électrolyse, corrosion et en général tous les problèmes
dérivant de la nature de l’eau et des systèmes électrique et
hydraulique de l’habitation). Avant toute installation, l’acheteur
est tenu de s’assurer que le produit est bien intact et de contacter
immédiatement le revendeur ou le centre d’assistance autorisé
en cas de défauts. La prestation de garantie n’aura lieu que sur
présentation du document attestant la date d’achat.
Tous les frais d’interventions n’ayant aucun rapport avec un
vice de fabrication ou ayant pour but d’illustrer l’utilisation du
produit sont à la charge de l’acheteur. Les réparations ou les

modications eectuées par des personnes non autorisées par le
constructeur ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie et entraînent
l’annulation immédiate de la période de garantie restante.
Le constructeur décline toute responsabilité en cas de

choses et dus au non-respect des instructions du manuel de
montage, utilisation et entretien, fourni avec le produit.
En cas de litige, seul le tribunal de Mantoue est compétent.

INTRODUCTION:
Whirlpool baths must be installed by trained personnel able to
demonstrate to the relevant authorities their knowledge and
ability in the application of health and safety regulations i.e.
electricity and water supplies and waste water disposal. The
manufacturer provides training for technical assistance sta and
therefore you are advised to contact an authorised technical
assistance centre for the purposes of installation.
This symbol indicates important product instructions or
important safety information.
INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT!
Before you start to assemble and install the product, carefully
read through all the instructions. Unpack the components and
check that nothing is missing and that there are no damaged or
faulty components, remove the transparent protective lm.
All components requiring maintenance (e.g. pump, electrical
components, etc) must remain accessible once nal installation
is complete.
Do not support the bath using the hoses during transport.
N.B.: This product is designed for installation on nished walls
and oors.
Warranty claims must be produced with the purchase invoice
and the product assembling instructions.
The drawings and illustrations in this manual are provided for
information purposes only.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes and
improvements without prior notice.
INSTALLATION OF BATH WITH FRAME:
Follow the sequence of drawings given in this manual very
carefully when installing a bath with frame.
INSTALLATION OF ENCLOSED BATH:
Before building the enclosing walls, it is best to position the
bath and make the required connections. The wall can extend
inwards under the lip of the bath by not more than 1.5 cm. The
drain must be connected in such a way that the bath can be
pulled out of the enclosure for maintenance, when necessary.
To facilitate this operation do NOT x enclosed type baths to
the oor. In this case, x the bath by applying silicone on all four
sides (see siliconing illustration on page 38).

OPERATING TEST:
An operating test must be performed following installation.
Check that the bath is clean.
Fill the bath with water at an infeed temperature of 40°C (± 5°C)
up to a level above the highest nozzle to allow the system to
function.Switch on the system and run it for 10 minutes. Switch
OFF the whirlpool function but do not empty the bath and after
10 minutes check all the hoses, couplings, etc. for any leaks.
The test should be repeated following any adjustments or
substitutions. Backow of water towards the mains water supply
must be avoided to ensure conformity with EN 1717 when lling
the bath. Therefore if the taps are tted so that the water lls
the bath from above the top of the bath then the taps must be
positioned (at least in terms of height) in accordance with the
diagrams shown from page 6.
If the system involving a combined water inlet and overow
outlet is used to ll the bath, a water outlet spout consisting of
a non-return valve (not supplied) must be tted between the
combined tap water inlet point and the delivery system located
on the discharge column.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING:
During use, small organic particles are deposited in the whirlpool
pipes and if not treated may lead to proliferation of bacteria in
the system. For perfect hygiene, you should treat the system
with specic products available from our Service Centres (see
updated list on our site www.novellini.com under the heading
“Service”) or dealers specialising in products for whirlpool baths.
For temporary treatment you can use a liquid disinfectant
(eg. Dettol). How to clean the bath. You should also perform a
specic treatment if the bath is left unused for long periods. If
the bath is used by more than one person consecutively, you are
recommended to disinfect after each cycle.
You should never use or take a bath in the water used for
disinfecting.
The rst time you disinfect, ll the disinfectant tank with a
specic product or Dettol. Tank capacity 1 litre.
ADJUSTING JET NOZZLES:
Turn the jet nozzles (C) as required. The nozzles can be turned
in any direction. Make sure that the nozzles are not clogged and
are not directed upwards (otherwise water will be splashed out
of the tub when the system is switched on). Fill the tub until the
water is well over the level of the jet nozzles (see illustration).
After getting into the bath, the water level must be as shown
in the illustration, otherwise the jets system may not start. The
system features a level sensor which prevents the jets from
switching on if there isn’t enough water in the bath. When the
jets system is on, do not use foaming agents such as bubble
baths, soap, etc.
HOW TO USE YOUR WHIRLPOOL BATH CORRECTLY:
The benets of a whirlpool massage:
The swirling water of a whirlpool bath is naturally soothing and
oers many therapeutic benets. In spas, hydrotherapy is used
to stimulate blood circulation, relax muscles and restore tone to
the skin. Basically, it consists in injecting air into controlled jets of

water of varying intensity directed at the body. The jet of warm
water and air bubbles against the body dilates blood vessels
and increases the ow of blood to the heart. In addition, the
continuousjetofwaterhasa massagingeectonthe musclesand
dilates skin pores, promoting the removal of toxins and helping
to hydrate the surrounding tissue. Hydromassage is widely used
by sports people to relieve tired muscles after strenuous physical
activity, producing a pleasant sense of relaxation and well-being.
The jet nozzles can be adjusted to direct the jets at the parts of
the body where you want to concentrate the massaging action.
The temperature of the bath water must never exceed 45°C. The
maximum benets are obtained with a temperature of 36°-37°C.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION:
Deposits of organic material that collect in the pipes during a
whirpool bath promote bacterial growth and, if left untreated,
cause unsanitary conditions and unpleasant odours. For perfect
hygiene, the jets system should be disinfected immediately
after bathing, before draining. To disinfect, use 50 g of ordinary
disinfectant (for example, liquid bleach) for every 100 litres of
water (approximately half a glass in a bath lled to optimum
level). Run the system for few minutes to circulate the disinfectant
in the pipes. Stop the system, allow to soak for 15/20 minutes,
then drain the bath. If the bath develops unpleasant odours
after a long period of inactivity, it’s a good idea to disinfect the
system before using it again. For hygiene, if the bath is used
consecutively by two or more people, the system should be
disinfected after each use. During disinfection, turn o the air
control to reduce foaming.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
The bath is made of acrylic and must be cleaned using a liquid
detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Use a good quality
household liquid detergent. To prevent scale deposits, wipe dry
using a chammy leather or a soft lint-free cloth that removes
stubborn deposits without leaving traces. Limescale deposits
may be removed using specic detergent products. To restore
shine to the acrylic surface polish with an ordinary wax polish
such as car wax.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS, ALCOHOL OR ALCOHOL
BASED PRODUCTS, ACETONE OR OTHER SOLVENTS.
Warning: use of detergents other than those recommended
may damage the bath and/or the whirlpool equipment.
SURFACE SCRATCHES:
Small surface scratches can be removed using wet emery paper
(grade 1000) and then smoothing the surface with abrasive
paste. Once the scratch has been removed, restore surface shine
using wax polish. For the best results, contact your nearest
authorised service centre.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
In the event of a problem, perform the following checks before
calling the service centre.
If the jet system does not stop:
• If the pump continues running and cannot be turned o using
the usual controls, turn it o using the circuit breaker and try
again. If the problem persists, contact the service centre.
Do not attempt to make adjustments to the wiring or
other electrical parts under any circumstances. Always
contact your nearest service centre.
DISPOSING OF THE WHIRPOOL BATH:
To dispose of the whirlpool bath or any part of it, follow local
waste disposal regulations. In Italy, Legislative Decree No. 22
of 5 February 1997 applies. In other EU countries, the subject is
governed by directives 91/156/EEC, 91/689/EEC and 94/62/EC.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE:
The product is guaranteed as per Italian Presidential Decree
224 of 24/05/1988 in Italy and the rest of the EU and as per CEE
Directive 85/374 in terms of product liability.
TheManufacturerguaranteesitsproductsagainstmanufacturing
and material defects – provided these are conrmed by the
authorised personnel of the Company – for a period of 24 months
from the purchase date, as indicated by the receipt or invoice.
The guarantee covers repairs to and/or replacement of the parts
considered to be faulty. The guarantee does not cover complete
replacement of the product. The guarantee does not cover the
lights, warning lights, fuses, glass parts, mirrors and decoration
parts unless these are faulty due to production defects and not
due to neglect or improper use. The guarantee does not cover
any parts and components which are faulty or damaged due
to negligence or carelessness during use, incorrect installation
or maintenance, operations carried out by non-authorised
personnel, damage caused during transport or any other
circumstances not due to product manufacturing defects, such
as sudden electricity jolts, lightning, electrolysis, corrosion and,
in general, any causes related to the nature of the water and
electrical and water supply systems in the place where the
unit is used. The Purchaser must check that the product is not
damaged in any way before installation and must contact the
agent or authorised assistance centre immediately if any faults
are detected.The guarantee will only be applied on presentation
of a document indicating the purchase date.
In the event of operations without proven defects or to illustrate
how to use the product, all the expenses are sustained by the
Purchaser. Any repairs or modications carried out by personnel
not authorised by the Manufacturer will not be covered by the
guarantee and will render the remaining guarantee period
immediately null and void.
The Manufacturer is not responsible in any way for any direct
or indirect damage caused to persons, animals or things due
to failure to comply with all the regulations in the installation,
instruction and maintenance manual supplied with the product.
Any disputes will be dealt with exclusively by Mantova Italy, Law
Court.

nicht oensichtlich beschädigt sind, falls vorhanden, die
durchsichtige Schutzfolie abnehmen.
DieInstallationist so vorzunehmen,dass nach derInstallationalle
Elemente, die eine Wartung erfordern (z.B. Pumpe, elektrische
Bauteile. usw.) zugänglich bleiben.
Die Wanne darf beim Transport nicht an den Rohrleitungen
angehoben werden.
ANMERKUNG: Die Installation darf erst nach Fertigstellung von
Fußboden und Wänden zu erfolgen.
Im Fall von Reklamation, die Rechnungsanlage zusammen mit
den Montageanleitungen vorlegen.
Die im Handbuch enthaltenen Abbildungen und Zeichnungen
dienen nur der Veranschaulichung.
Die Garantie behält sich das Recht vor, Änderungen daran
vorzunehmen.
INSTALLATION DES EINGEBAUTEN WHIRPOOLS:
Vor dem Einbau empehlt es sich, die Wanne zu justieren und
die entsprechenden Anschlüße durchzuführen. Die Mauer
gegenüber der Wannenaußenkante kann um max. 1,5 cm
nach innen versetzt sein. Der Abuß muß so angeschlossen
werden, daß die Wanne für eventuelle Instandhaltungsarbeiten
aus der Einmauerung herausgenommen werden kann. Für
eine einfachere Herausnahme darf die eingebaute Wanne
keinesfalls am Boden befestigt werden. In diesem Fall erfolgt die
Befestigung über das Auftragen von Silikon an den vier Seiten
(siehe Auftragen von Silikon auf Seite 38).

PROBE DER INBETRIEBNAHME:
Nach der Installation muss eine Funktionsprüfung durchgeführt
werden. Sicherstellen, dass die Wanne sauber ist.
Wasser mit einer Einlasstemperatur von 40°C (±5°C) einlaufen
lassen, bis der Füllstand über die oberste Düse reicht, damit das
System funktionieren kann.
Das System einschalten und für mindestens 10 Minuten laufen
lassen. Ohne die Wanne zu entleeren, die Hydromassage
ausschalten und nach einer Wartezeit von mindestens 10
Minuten alle Rohrleitungen. Anschlüsse, usw. auf undichte
Stellen überprüfen.
Falls Einstellungen oder der Austausch defekter Teile erforderlich
sind, muss die Prüfung anschließend wiederholt werden.
Zur Wannenfüllung gemäß EN 1717 muss ein Rückießen in das
Trinkwassernetz vermieden werden.
Daher ist Folgendes zu beachten: Bei Verwendung einer Armatur
mit Einlass von oberhalb der Wanne ist die in den Zeichnungen
auf Seite 6 angegebene Armaturposition (zumindest in der
Höhe) einzuhalten.
Falls zur Wannenfüllung der Zulaufanschluss am Überlauf
verwendet wird, muss zwischen dem gemischten Auslauf der
Armatur und dem auf dem Ablauf angeordneten Zulauf ein
Rückschlagventil eingebaut werden (nicht im Lieferumfang).
REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION:
Während des Gebrauchs lagern sich in den Leitungen der
Wanne kleine organische Teilchen ab, die zur Vermehrung von
Bakterien in der Anlage führen können, wenn sie nicht beseitigt
werden. Für eine zuverlässige Desinfektion muss die Anlage
mit Spezialprodukten behandelt werden, die über unsere
Technologiezentren (die aktuelle Liste ist auf der Website www.
novellini.com unter “Kundendienst” zu nden) oder bei Ihrem
Fachhändler für Whirlpool-Produkte erhältlich sind. Für eine
vorläuge Hygienebehandlung können Sie ein handelsübliches
üssiges Desinfektionsmittel (z.B. Benzalkoniumchlorid)
verwenden. Wir empfehlen eine solche Spezialbehandlung
auch nach längerem Nichtgebrauch. Baden mehrere Personen
nacheinander in der Wanne, wird aus hygienischen Gründen
empfohlen, sie nach jedem Gebrauch zu desinzieren.
Im für die Desinfektion verwendeten Wasser darf auf
keinen Fall gebadet werden; das Wasser darf auch nicht
für andere Zwecke verwendet werden. Füllen Sie den
Desinfektionsmittelbehälter vor dem ersten Gebrauch
der Desinfektionsfunktion mit einem spezischen
Desinfektionsprodukt oder einem Desinfektionsmittel
auf Chlorbasis (z.B. Benzalkoniumchlorid). Das
Fassungsvermögen beträgt 1 Liter.

EINSTELLUNG DER JET-DÜSEN:
Die Düsen (C) nach Wunsch einstellen. Die Düsen können in
jede Richtung gedreht werden. Sicherstellen, daß die Düsen
nicht verstopft sind, und daß sie nicht nach oben gerichtet
sind, denn in diesem Fall würde das Wasser beim Einschalten
der Anlage aus der Wanne herausspritzen. Die Wanne füllen,
bis die Düsen reichlich mit Wasser bedeckt sind; siehe hierzu
die Abbildung. Prüfen Sie, nachdem Sie in die Wanne gestiegen
sind, daß der Wasserstand dem in der Abbildung entspricht.
Andernfalls startet der Whirlpool nicht. Die Anlage ist mit
einem Füllstandssensor ausgestattet, der verhindert, daß der
Whirlpool einschaltet, wenn nicht genug Wasser in der Wanne
ist. Bei Verwendung des Whirlpools keine schäumenden
Produkte wie Seife, Badeöle, usw. ins Wasser geben.
HINWEISE ZUM GEBRAUCH:
Gesundheitliche vorteile:
Die Unterwassermassage ist eine besondere Technik, die bei der
Physiotherapie im Rahmen der Thermalkuren eingesetzt wird,
um die Durchblutung zu fördern, die Muskeln zu entspannen
und die Haut zu pegen. Sie besteht im wesentlichen darin den
Körper mit einem geregelten und entsprechend ausgerichteten
Wasserstrahl zu behandeln, die mit unterschiedlich starker Luft
versetzt werden, um die gewünschte Wirkung zu erreichen.
Diese Wassertherapie bewirkt durch die Wärme des Wassers die
Erweiterung der Blutgefäße, wodurch der Blutstrom zum Herzen
verstärkt wird. Ferner bewirkt der Wasserstrahl eine ständige
Massage der Muskeln, wodurch der Muskeltonus verbessert
wird sowie die Erweiterung der Hautporen, wodurch die
umliegenden Gewebe gereinigt und mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt
werden.
Die Unterwassermassagen wird häug von Sportlern
angewendet, da die Muskeln nach der Anstrengung beim Sport
gelockertwerdenundeinangenehmesEntspannungsgefühlund
Wohlb enden hervorrufen. Die erhebliche Einstellmöglichkeit
der Düsen erlaubt die exakte Ausrichtung des Strahls auf die
Körperstellen, die massiert werden sollen. Die Wassertemperatur
sollte 45°C nicht übersteigen. Die größte Entspannungswirkung
wird bei einer Temperatur von 36°-37°C erzielt.
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE:
BeiderWannehandelt essichum eineAcrylwanne.ZurReinigung
muß aus diesem Grund ein üssiges Reinigungsmittel mit
einem Schwamm bzw. einem weichen Tuch verwendet werden.
Es werden handelsübliche Markenprodukte empfohlen. Zur
Verhinderung von Kalkablagerungen sollte die Wanne nach dem
Gebrauch mit einem Fensterleder bzw. einem Mikrofasertuch
ausgewischt werden. Eventuelle Kalkablagerungen werden
mit speziellen kalklosenden Produkten entfernt. Um glänzende
Öberächen wieder zu erhalten, eine normale Autopolitur
verwenden.
KEINESFALLS SCHEUERMITTEL, ALKOHOL, ALKOHOLHALTIGE
STOFFE, ACETON BZW. ANDERE LÖSUNGSMITTEL VERWENDEN.
Achtung: Der Gebrauch von anderen als den empfohlenen
Reinigungsmitteln kann Schäden an der Wanne und/oder der
Hydromassage-Ausrüstung verursachen.
KRATZER IN DER OBERFLÄCHE:
KleineKratzerinderOberächekönnenmitFeuchtschmirgelpapier
der Stärke 1000 entfernt werden. Erst den Kratzer abschmirgeln
und die Oberäche danach mit Schmirgelpaste glätten. Danach
eine Politur auftragen und polieren. In diesem Fall wird auf jeden
Fall empfohlen sich mit einer zugelassenen Kundendienststelle
in Verbindung zu setzen.
FEHLERSUCHE:
Prüfungen, die durchzuführen sind, bevor der Kundendienst
benachrichtigt wird.
Wenn der Whirlpool nicht ausschaltet:
• Wenn die Pumpe ständig läuft und nicht mit den
normalen Steuerungen ausgeschaltet werden kann,
den Sicherheitsschalter ausschalten und danach erneut
probieren; liegt das Problem weiterhin an, den Kundendienst
benachrichtigen.
Keinesfalls Hand an die Elektroanlage der Wanne
anlegen, sondern stets den Kundendienst in Ihrem Gebiet
benachrichtigen.
ENTSORGUNG DER WANNE:
Die Entsorgung des Produkts und seiner Bestandteile muß
unter Beachtung der ortsüblichen Gesetzesvorschriften für die
Abfallbehandlung erfolgen. In Italien: D.L. 22 vom 5 Februar
1997. In den anderen Ländern der EU: Richtlinie 91/156/EWG,
91/689/EWG und 94/62/EWG.
GARANTIE:
Auf italienischen Staatsgebiet wird für das Produkt gemäß D.P.R.
Nr.224 vom 24.05.1988 Garantie gewährt und in den übrigen
EWG-Ländern gemäß Richtlinie 85/374/EWG im Rahmen der
Haftbarkeit für Schäden, die auf Produktmängel zurückzuführen
sind.
Die vom Hersteller gewährte Garantie umfasst Produktions- und
Materialfehler lediglich, wenn diese von vom Unternehmen
befugtem Personal festgestellt werden, für eine Dauer von 24
Monaten ab Datum des Erwerbs und unter Vorlage der Quittung
bzw. des Kassenzettels.
Die Garantie umfasst die Reparatur und/oder den Ersatz
der als defekt betrachteten Teile. Die Garantie umfasst
nicht den kompletten Ersatz des Produkts. Von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen sind ferner die Lampen, die Kontrollleuchten,
die Sicherungen, die Glasteile, die Spiegel, die Dekorteile, es sei
denn, die nachgewiesenen Mängel sind auf Fertigungsfehler
und nicht auf Nachlässigkeit oder unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
zurückzuführen. Ferner sind von der Garantie alle Teile und
Bauteile ausgeschlossen, deren Mängel auf Nachlässigkeit,
nachlässigen Gebrauch, fehlerhafte Installation bzw. Wartung,
durch Eingrie von unbefugtem Personal, Transportschäden
bzw. Schäden, die nicht auf Fertigungsmängel zurückzuführen
sind, wie zum Beispiel Stromschwankungen, Blitzschlag,
Elektrolyse, Korrosion und im allgemeinen Wasserschäden
bzw. Schäden, die durch die Elektro- bzw. Hydraulikanlage der
Wohnung hervorgerufen werden. Der Käufer muss das Produkt
vor der Installation auf einwandfreien Zustand prüfen und im
Falle von Unregelmäßigkeiten den Händler bzw. eine autorisierte

Kundendienststelle benachrichtigen. Die Garantie wird nur
unter Vorlage eines Belegs geleistet, aus dem das Erwerbsdatum
hervorgeht.
Wird der Kundendienst gerufen, ohne dass Produktmängel
nachgewiesen werden bzw. zur Einweisung in den Gebrauch des
Produkts, gehen alle Kosten zu Lasten des Käufers. Reparaturen
bzw. Änderungen, die von nicht vom Hersteller autorisierten
Personal ausgeführt werden, geben keinen Anspruch auf
Kostenerstattung und führen zum sofortigenVerfall der Garantie.
Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für direkte bzw.
indirekte Schäden an Personen, Haustieren bzw. Sachen,
wenn diese Schäden auf die Nichtbeachtung der Vorschriften
der Installations-, Gebrauchs- und Wartungsanleitung
zurückzuführen sind, die das Produkt begleitet.
Im Falle von Rechtsstreitigkeiten ist einziger Gerichtsstand
Mantua.
