Dimensions of opening to cut out:

Make sure that an electrical socket is within
reach of the built in unit to plug into.
Carefully remove the hood
out of the packaging.
The direction of the
exhaust can be altered.
For alteration proceed as
follows:
emove the filter and
unscrew the 8 screws
of the motor.
Turn the motor
in the
desired
position and
reattach using
the same screws.
To obtain an upward
exhaust remove the 8
screws of the motor,
give the motor a quart
turn an reattach.
The clips are suited for plates with
a thickness of 18 mm - 35 mm.
Always install the hood with the control panel
to the right side of the user. This insures that
the plate opens properly and access to the
filter is not impaired.
Connect the exhaust pipe to the motor. Use a
ringclamp (adapt the length of exhaust pipe so
it can be reattached in case of dismantling).
Put the plug in the socket. Push the unit
upward into the opening until you hear a click.
The unit will now hang from the ceiling.
Tighten the clips (see) in position
(Beware! Do not screw excessively tight in
plasterboard). The unit is now ready for use.
When removing the unit, unscrew clips
completely. Always protect underlying
surfaces with blanket or cardboard when
installing or removing.
Separate the motor from the unit by removing
the 8 screws (see ), use the same screws to
attach the ductadapter to the unit.
Attach the other ductadapter to the bottom of
the motor with the screws provided.
emove the screws on the side of the
motor by which you intend to attach it
to the wall. Attach the bracket to the
motor with the same screws. Hang
the motor in place using the screws
provided (6 woodscrews or 4
stonescrews with plug)
Do not hang the motor from the
ceiling if possible!
Connect the ducts to
the motor (in and
out) with clamps and
aluminium tape.
Make the electrical
connection.
The ducts can be
installed at a 90°
angle or in a straight
line (see for
adaptation)
