Introduction
VOPEX-4K18GB-4 is an HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compliant splitter supporting resolutions up to UHD 4K2K
@60Hz. It equalizes the signal and distributes it to four identical outputs.

Mounting hardware
Installation
1. Connect the video source to "HDMI IN".
2. Connect up to 4 displays to the "HDMI OUT" ports. If displays are different models, use the DIP switches (page 3) to
determine what resolutions will be supported.
Note: For available cable lengths, see chart on page 4.
3. Connect the power supply and power up the VOPEX, video source and displays (in any order).

Mounting
Screws and wall anchors are included to secure the VOPEX to a surface. Slots (.155 In. wide) are found on the bottom of
the unit. Install the screws and attach the VOPEX.

DIP Switch Function
The default position is with DIP Switch 1~4 OFF(switches are all up) meaning EDID is set at
1080P.
Position Effect
Switch 1 ON Use Output 1 as EDID source
Switch 2 ON Use Output 2 as EDID source
Switch 3 ON Use Output 3 as EDID source
Switch 4 ON Use Output 4 as EDID source
More than 1 DIP
switch ON The VOPEX will analyze the EDID from each monitor associated with the DIP switches in the ON
position and generate a set of EDID common to each monitor.
Example: Outputs 1 and 2 have different displays attached. Set the DIP switches 1 and 2 to the
ON position and press “EDID COPY”button. A new a set of EDID supporting both monitor's
screen resolutions will be created.
Note：If more than one DIP switch is ON, the VOPEX will only support stereo (2-Channel) audio.
EDID COPY Button
When the “EDID COPY”button is pressed, the VOPEX will learn and generate EDID according to the DIP switch
settings.
Console Port
Connect a serial cable for R232 interface between the "Console" port and a PC for firmware updates.
