This system is designed to remove
stale, pollutant-laden air from ‘wet’
rooms in your home, such as kitchens
and bathrooms. The system will work
constantly to ensure the air in your
home does not fill with unwanted and
potentially harmful pollutants.
Fresh air replaces the extracted stale
air, entering via grilles and windows
throughout the home. This method of
ventilating will maintain a high standard of
indoor air quality all year round.

SAFETY INFORMATION
The provision of the electrical supply and the connection
of the unit to the mains must be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance should not be used by children or persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be carried out by children.

If I need some advice, who do I contact? Nuaire have a team of technical experts on hand to help. Our operating

When calling Nuaire, if possible, please check your fan for the serial number located on the fan label.
HOW DO I OPERATE THE UNIT?
At installation your unit will have been set to run continuously
to a level that will adequately ventilate your home. The system
should not be switched o.
However, there will be occasions when the humidity/moisture,
levels in your home will rise; this is usually due to activities
such as cooking and bathing or showering. During these times
your unit has the functionality to increase its extract rates.
A housing provider/ housebuilder will determine system
settings as part of the installation, You may find an additional
switch installed in the bathroom or kitchen area. This may be
used to boost the extract rates if required. To increase the
extract rates manually simply set the switch to boost, and
when you are ready to resume normal operation turn it back
o.
WHAT IS HUMIDITY ADJUSTMENT?
Humidity adjustment is an internal setting found only on MEV-
ECO-H units.
These units will be fitted with an internal humidity sensor. The
unit will automatically boost when higher humidity levels are
detected and will then return its set extract rate required.
WHAT MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED?
The unit is designed to run continuously and must not be
turned o. The air valves can be carefully cleaned ensuring
they are not disturbed as they have been set to the correct
extract rate for your property.
