Oliver makes every effort possible to assure that its equipment meets the highest possible standards of
quality and durability. All produ ts sold by Oliver are warranted to the original ustomer to be free from
defe ts for a period of 2 (two) years on all parts, ex luding ele troni s and motors, whi h are warranted
for 1 year. Oliver’s obligation under this warranty shall be ex lusively limited to repairing or repla ing (at
Oliver’s option) produ ts whi h are determined by Oliver to be defe tive upon delivery F.O.B. (return
freight paid by ustomer) to Oliver, and on inspe tion by Oliver. This warranty does not apply to defe ts

WARNING
Read this manual ompletely and observe all warning labels on the ma hine. Oliver Ma hinery has made
every attempt to provide a safe, reliable, easy-to-use pie e of ma hinery. Safety, however, is ultimately
the responsibility of the individual ma hine operator. As with any pie e of ma hinery, the operator must
exer ise aution, patien e, and ommon sense to safely run the ma hine. Before operating this produ t,
be ome familiar with the safety rules in the following se tions.
•Always keep uards in place and in proper operatin condition.
•Use blade uard for every applicable operation includin all throu h cuts. If uard is removed
for special non-throu h cuts such as dado and rabbet cuts, replace before further use of the
saw.
•Keep hands out of line with the saw blade.
•Use a push stick.
•Do not perform any operation freehand.
•Never reach around or over the saw blade.
1. If you are not properly trained in the use of a tablesaw do not use until the proper training has been
obtained.
2. Read, understand and follow the safety instru tions found in this manual. Know the limitations and
hazards asso iated with this ma hine.
3. Electrical roundin : Make ertain that the ma hine frame is ele tri ally grounded and that a
ground lead is in luded in the in oming ele tri al servi e. In ases where a ord and plug are used,
make ertain that the grounding plug onne ts to a suitable ground. Follow the grounding pro edure
indi ated in the National Ele tri al Code.
4. Eye safety: Wear an approved safety shield, goggles, or glasses to prote t eyes. Common
eyeglasses are only impa t-resistant, they are not safety glasses.
5. Personal protection: Before operating the ma hine, remove tie, rings, wat h and other jewelry and
roll up sleeves above the elbows. Remove all loose outer lothing and onfine long hair. Prote tive
type footwear should be used. Where the noise ex eeds the level of exposure allowed in Se tion
1910.95 of the OSHA Regulations, use hearing prote tive devi es. Do not wear gloves.
6. Guards: Keep the ma hine guards in pla e for every operation for whi h they an be used. If any
guards are removed for maintenan e, DO NOT OPERATE the ma hine until the guards are
reinstalled.
7. Work area: Keep the floor around the ma hine lean and free of s rap material, saw dust, oil and
other liquids to minimize the danger of tripping or slipping. Be sure the table is free of all s rap,
foreign material and tools before starting to use the ma hine. Make ertain the work area is well
lighted and that a proper exhaust system is used to minimize dust. Use anti-skid floor strips on the
floor area where the operator normally stands and mark off ma hine work area. Provide adequate
work spa e around the ma hine.
8. Material condition: Do not attempt to saw boards with loose knots or with nails or other foreign
material. Do not attempt to saw twisted, warped, bowed sto k.
9. Operator position: Maintain a balan ed stan e and keep your body under ontrol at all times.
10. Before startin : Before turning on ma hine, remove all extra equipment su h as keys, wren hes,
s raps, and leaning rags away from the ma hine.

11. Careless acts: Give the work you are doing your undivided attention. Looking around, arrying on a
onversation, and “horseplay” are areless a ts that an result in serious injury.
12. Disconnect all power sources: Before performing any servi e, maintenan e, adjustments or when
hanging blades. A ma hine under repair should be RED TAGGED to show it should not be used
until the maintenan e is omplete.
13. Job completion: If the operator leaves the ma hine area for any reason, the tablesaw should be
turned "off" and the blade should ome to a omplete stop before their departure. The key should be
pla ed in the “off” position, removed and given to a supervisor to prevent any unauthorized use of the
tablesaw.
14. Replacement parts: Use only genuine Oliver Ma hinery fa tory authorized repla ement parts and
a essories; otherwise the warranty and guarantee is null and void.
15. Misuse: Do not use this Oliver tablesaw for other than its intended use. If used for other purposes,
Oliver dis laims any real or implied warranty and holds itself harmless for any injury or damage whi h
may result from that use.
16. Dru s, alcohol and medication: Do not operate this ma hine while under the influen e of drugs,
al ohol, or any medi ation.
17. This machine is dei ned for utting wood produ ts only. Do not use to ut any kind of metal or
substan e other then wood.
18. Never start the saw while a work pie e is in onta t with the blade.
19. Raise or lower the blade only when the ma hine has been turned “off” and the blade has ome to a
omplete stop.
20. Miter Gau e and Rip Fence: Never use the miter gauge and rip fence at the same time.
21. Dama ed Saw Blade: Never use a damaged saw blade or one that has been dropped. Che k the
saw blade for ra ks or missing teeth. Do not use a ra ked or dull blade or one with missing teeth.
Make sure the blade is se urely lo ked on the arbor.
22. Make sure the blade is running in the proper dire tion. Refer to the arrow on the blade. The teeth
should be pointing down when viewing from the front of the saw.
23. Ali nment: Che k the alignment of the splitter to the blade. Also, he k the alignment of the fen e
to the miter slot.
24. Health hazards: Some dust reated by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other
onstru tion a tivities ontains hemi als known to ause an er, birth defe ts or other reprodu tive
harm. Some examples of these hemi als are:
•Lead from lead-based paint.
•Crystalline sili a from bri ks and ement and other masonry produ ts.
•Arseni and hromium from hemi ally-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To redu e
your exposure to these hemi als, work in a well-ventilated area, and work with approved safety
equipment, su h as those dust masks that are spe ifi ally designed to filter out mi ros opi parti les.
Familiarize yourself with the following safety noti es used in this manual:

Machine Preparation and Setup
WARNING!
The equipment used to lift this machine must
have a rated capacity at, or above the wei ht
of the tablesaw. Failure to comply may
cause serious injury!
The tablesaw must be positioned on a smooth,
level surfa e. The area must be well lit and
have plenty of room to maneuver with large
pie es of wood.
Level the saw front to ba k and side to side
using a level pla ed on the table. Use shims
under the orners, if ne essary, but make sure
the saw is stable before being pla ed into
servi e.
Clean all rust prote ted surfa es with a
ommer ial solvent. Do not use a etone,
gasoline, la quer thinner or any type of
flammable solvent, or a leaner that may
damage paint. Cover leaned surfa es with
WD-40 or a 20W ma hine oil.
Pay parti ular attention to leaning in the miter
slot and the fa es of table and extension wing.
Extension Win Assembly
1. Atta h extension wing (A, Figure 1) to table
with four hex head bolts, and four lo k
washers (B, Figure 1). Snug but do not
tighten. Note: Start with one of the enter
holes (C, Figure 1) to hold the wing in pla e.
2. Slide extension wing toward the front edge
of the saw table until two edges are flush.
3. Using a straight edge (D, Figure. 2), align
extension wing to saw table and tighten hex
ap bolts. Repeat for opposite wing.
Handwheel Assembly
1. Pla e handwheel (F, Figure 3) onto the saw
shaft. Use an allen key to lo k the wheel
onto the shaft with the set s rew (G, Figure
3). Insert and s rew the lo king handle (H,
Figure 3) and the wheel handle (I, Figure 3)
into their respe tive holes. Repeat for other.

Rail Assembly
1. Rest the front guide support bra ket on the
swit h box as shown in Figure 4 and se ure
into pla e using the hamfered bolts, nuts
and washers provided in hardware pa ket 7.
Note that the two outside holes require a nut
and washer as well as a bolt while the four
inside holes require the bolts only.
2. Set the front guide on the support bra ket as
shown in Figure 5 and se ure into pla e with
the short bolts provided in hardware pa ket
7.
3. Install the rear guide as shown in Figure 6
using the supplied hardware. Note that the
two outside holes require a nut and washer
as well as a bolt while the four inside holes
require the bolts and washers only.

Fence Assembly and Adjustment
1. Pla e the fen e on the guides as shown in
Figure 7. Look for the rubber nib on the
underside of the fen e as shown and make
sure it lines up with the ba k support rail.
2. Align the fen e with the miter guage slot as
shown in Figure 7 and he k to see if the
fen e is parallel to the slot.
3. If the fen e is not parallel to the miter guage
slot, lift the fen e off the guides and pla e it
on the table as shown in Figure 8. Turn the
appropriate s rew, A to ompensate for the
differen e. Pla e the fen e ba k on the
guides and he k again for alignment to the
miter guage. If it is still mis-aligned, repeat
the pro edure.
Adjustin the Scale Reader
1. Raise the blade to its maximum height.
2. Pla e the fen e
on the guides on the right side of blade and
then slide the fen e toward the blade.
Continue until the fen e just tou hes the
saw teeth. Do not push too hard or the
blade will defle t.
3. Looking at the
right side s ale reader, the red pointer
should mat h up with the zero mark. If not,
loosen the two s rews, B, Figure 9 and slide
the viewer to align the mark with zero.
Tighten the s rews.
4. Move the fen e
to the left side of the blade and repeat the
pro edure for the left side viewer.

Calibratin the Di ital An le Readout
1. Pla e a square on the table as shown in
Figure 11 then turn the saw tilt wheel until the
blade omes to 90 degree.
2. Push and hold the 0° set button as shown in
Figure 14 until the display stops blinking. The 0°
is now set.
3. Tilt the blade to 45 degrees as shown in
Figure 12. Push and hold the 45° set button
as shown in Figure 15 until the display stops
blinking. At this point the angle display is
alibrated.

Levelin Table Insert
Adjust the table insert flush with the table by
turning the four leveling s rews (C, Figure 16).
Pla e a straight edge a ross the table and
insert. Raise the insert until it just tou hes the
straight edge. Che k both the front and rear
se tion of the insert.
Splitter and Blade Guard Assembly
The table saw omes equipped with both a riving
knife and blade guard (see Figure 17). It is
always re ommended to use the blade guard
whenever possible. However, when doing
narrow uts when the guard would interfere with
the fen e or any other uts in whi h the blade
guard would pose a problem, repla e the guard
with the riving knife. Installation is the same for
both. For ease of installation, the blade guard
an be disassembled by loosening the lo k knob
and separating the splitter from the guard as
shown in Figure 18. It may be ne essary to
loosen the two s rews as indi ated in the
pi ture.
1. Disconnect saw from power source.
2. Remove table insert by loosening the s rew
at the front of insert.
3. Loosen the lo k nut then insert the fork of
the riving knife between the nut head and
ba king plate as shown in Figure 19. Lo k
into pla e.
4. Re-install the table insert.

Miter Gau e
1. Slide the miter gauge bar into the miter
gauge slot in table. Loosen the handle (A,
Figure 23) and pull out indexing rod (B,
Figure 23) to pivot the miter gauge body.
2. Push the indexing rod in to engage the
preset stops (C, Figure 23).
3. Adjust stops by loosening the hex nut (D,
Figure 23) and adjusting s rew (E, Figure
23).
Note: Always make test uts. The s ale is for
referen e. There are two holes in the miter
gauge fen e used to atta h a wooden fen e.
Controls (see Fi ures 24 & 25)
A. Emer ency Stop Button: Stops all
fun tions of ma hine.
B. Start: Starts saw blade rotation. Will not
work if the “Emergen y Stop” swit h is
engaged, or the key is in the “OFF” position.
C. Handwheel Lock: There is a handwheel
lo k on both handwheels. Loosen lo k to
turn handwheel and tighten when blade is in
desired lo ation.
D. Raisin and Lowerin Hand wheel:
Loosen hand wheel lo k. Turn handle
lo kwise to raise the blade. The blade
should be 1/8”-1/4” above the top of work
pie e, or 3-5 blade teeth above the top of
work pie e.
E. Tiltin Hand wheel: Loosen hand wheel
lo k. Turn handle ounter- lo kwise to tilt
blade to the left.
Dust Collection
There is a 4” dust port (G, Figure 25) lo ated on
the side of saw abinet. Make sure dust
olle tion system has suffi ient apa ity and
su tion for your tablesaw. Always turn on dust
olle tion system before starting the tablesaw.

Electrical Connections
WARNING!
Electrical connections and wirin must be
done by a qualified electrician. The machine
must be properly rounded. Failure to
comply may cause serious injury!
This saw is available in both 1-Phase and 3-
Phase versions.
Electrical Connections for a 3-Phase Unit
This saw is 3-Phase, 220V/440V pre-wired
220V. If you need to swit h the tablesaw from
220V to 440V have a qualified ele tri ian make
the hanges. Oliver Ma hinery re ommends
using a dedi ated ir uit.
Make sure the voltage of your power supply
mat hes the spe ifi ations on the motor plate of
the ma hine.
With 3-Phase power verify the blade is turning in
the proper dire tion. Turn the saw on and make
sure the dire tion of the blade spins toward the
user when standing in front of the saw. If it does
not, dis onne t the power sour e and reverse
any two power leads.
Electrical Connections for a 1-Phase Unit
This saw is 1-Phase, 220V only. Oliver
Ma hinery re ommends using a dedi ated
ir uit.
Make sure the voltage of your power supply
mat hes the spe ifi ations on the motor plate of
the ma hine.
Replacin the Blade
The blade guard has been removed for photos,
but it is possible to hange the blade without
removing the blade guard.
1. Disconnect saw from power source.
2. Remove the table insert and raise the blade
ompletely.
3. Use the two provided arbor wren hes to
loosen the arbor nut, as shown in Figure 25.
Pla e one wren h on the arbor nut and one
on the flats lo ated on the arbor. Remove
the nut, flange and blade.
4. Repla e the blade followed by the flange
and arbor nut. Tighten the arbor nut while
holding the arbor in pla e.
Note: Make sure the blade and arbor are lean
before installing a new blade. The blade teeth
should point down when viewing from the front
of saw.

Maintenance
WARNING!
Disconnect the machine from power source
before proceedin with any maintenance, or
troubleshootin ! Failure to comply may
cause serious injury!
Periodi ally lean the inside of the ma hine for
dust ontrol. Use an air hose to blow out dust
from motor fan and motor over.
Use a wire brush to lean trunnions and worm
gears. Apply white lithium grease or powdered
graphite to lubri ate worm gears, and trunnions.
Keep pulleys and belts free from dirt, dust, oil
and grease.
Repla e worn v-belts as needed.
Remove rust from the tabletop with WD-40 and
a S ot h-Brite™ Hand Pad. Keep a light oat of
WD-40 on the table top when not in use
