GET STARTED –QUICK GUIDE
This OneRemote PL2 receiver has been equipped with advanced OneRemote circuitry enabling it
to be controlled with a Bang & Olufsen remote control terminal. This redesigned receiver is called
OneRemote Radio PL2.
•Radio PL2 may be controlled with any Bang & Olufsen
system remote control terminal from 1988 or later.
•Radio PL2 can also be controlled via iPhones, iPods, iPads
and Android telephones and tablets using the UNDOK app.
Connect Radio PL2 to a set of Bang & Olufsen BeoLab speakers with PowerLink sockets and Radio
Pl2 may be controlled immediately with a Bang and Olufsen remote.
Reception of Internet Radio or other streaming services require the Radio PL2
to be connected to a WiFi network. See the Installation Guide.
Even though the Radio PL2 may be fully controlled with a Bang & Olufsen
remote DO NOT miss trying the FREE smart phone app UNDOK.
Create a free account with Frontier and edit playlists online from a PC. Any
change may be viewed immediately on all Radio PL2 units attached to the account.

FAVORITES
Add favorite stations to be selected quickly by pressing a single digit on the Bang & Olufsen
remote.
10 each FM, 10 each DAB+ and 10 each Internet Radio stations may be added as favorite presets.
Any preset may be changed at any time just by pressing one key on the Bang & Olufsen remote.
SELECT SERVICE
DAB RECEPTION
Turn on the Radio PL2 with u, and it starts playing the source most recently played.
Go to DAB radio by pressing W.
The Radio PL2 is stepping through the various sources until DAB radio is reached. See ”Source
Synchronization” below.
Select a preset by pressing a digit 0–9, or press DorFto show a list of
available DAB stations.
The quality of the antenna signal is shown at the lower part of the display.

FM RECEPTION
Turn on the Radio PL2 with u, and it starts playing the source most recently played.
Go to FM radio by pressing R.
The Radio PL2 is stepping through the various sources until FM radio is reached. See ”Source
Synchronization” below.
Select one of the presets by pressing a digit 0–9.
The quality of the antenna signal is shown at the lower part of the display.
Other control activities during FM reception:

INTERNET RADIO RECEPTION
Turn on the Radio PL2 with u, and it starts playing the source most recently played.
Go to Internet Radio by pressing Q.
The Radio PL2 is stepping through the various sources until Internet Radio is reached. See ”Source
Synchronization” below.
Select one of the presets by pressing a digit 0–9, or press DorFto show a
list of the available lists of stations.

MUSIC PLAYER
Turn on the Radio PL2 with u, and it starts playing the source most recently played.
Go to UPnP reception by pressingOE.
The Radio PL2 is stepping through the various sources until Music Player is reached. See ”Source
Synchronization” below.
Use A,S,D,Fand m to select shared music from a PC or another UPnP
server. Example Windows Media-Player.
SPOTIFY CONNECT RECEPTION
Start Spotify on a smart phone, iPhone, iPad, MAC or PC as usual when using Spotify.
Press the logo and select from the list the Radio PL2 in use. If the name has not been changed
it shows as”DigitRadio 110 IR”.
If more receivers are in use in the home they have been re-named during the installation to more
descriptive names. ”Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom etc”.
Now Spotify connects directly to the radio PL2 playing the selected music.

BLUETOOTH RECEPTION
Turn on the Radio PL2 with u, and it starts playing the source most recently played.
Go to Bluetooth by pressing E.
The Radio PL2 is stepping through the various sources until Bluetooth is reached. See ”Source
Synchronization” below.
The Bluetooth logo is blinking indicating that the Radio PL2 is waiting for a connection from a
source. Turn on a Bluetooth source and pair it with the Radio PL2. The password is ”0000”. The
stops blinking when the pairing has been completed.

CONTROL THE RADIO PL2 VIA AN APP FOR SMARTPHONE, TABLET AND PC.
Tip: With more Radio PL2 units a Multi Room System is easily established, and different
sources may be listened to in different rooms.
APPS FOR APPLE IOS, IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC.
The Radio PL2 can be fully controlled via WiFi with the app UNDOK for iPhones, iPads and MAC
computers. The free UNDOK may be downloaded from the App Store.
With more Radio PL2 units in the home they can all be controlled via this app.
Start UNDOK and select the specific unit to be controlled. If the name is unchanged
look for DigitRadio 110 IR. With more Radio PL2 units installed they have been re-named during
the initial installation.

APP FOR ANDROIDS
The Radio PL2 can be fully controlled via WiFi with the app UNDOK for Android smart phones,
tablets and other devices.The free UNDOK may be downloaded from the Google Play.
With more Radio PL2 units in the home they can all be controlled via this app.

SPOTIFY
Spotify is a streaming music service with almost all kinds of music that might
be listened to via a PC, tablet or cell phone.
When selecting music, it may be directed to one or all Radio PL2 units in the
home, no matter how the music was selected on a PC, tablet or cell phone.
When selecting Spotify music via the cell phone this particular phone may
still be used for phone calls simultaneously or even turned off completely.
The music stil plays via the Radio PL2.
It is the ordinary Spotify app that is used for Radio PL2 streaming, not a
special issue.

LISTEN TO MUSIC VIA SPOTIFY
Connect the Spotify control device, smart phone, tablet, PC or another
device, to the same LAN as the OneRemote Radio PL2.
Start the Spotify app and select ”Devices Available” and decide where to
play the music.
The picture to the right shows a selectable OneRemote Radio PL2 named
Kitchen.
SPOTIFY AUTOMATIC LOGON
If the OneRemote Radio PL2 is playing Internet Radio, Spotify or Music Player, the Spotify app may
interrupt and play music.
If the OneRemote Radio PL2 is connected to WiFi in the ”Keep connected” mode, Spotify can
always take over, and it may even turn on the Radio PL2, if it is turned off. Thus select Main
Menu/System Setup/Internet Setup/Keep Connected and set ”yes” for optimal Spotify control.

SOURCE SYNCHRONIZATION
Selecting a new source, DAB radio as an example, Radio PL2 is stepping forward to the desired
source, knowing exactly how many steps are required for that.
Though in some cases Radio PL2 has obviously lost the sync. and is missing the desired source. This
happens if the Radio PL2 has been controlled via the UNDOK app or Spotify. Select the Bluetooth
source with IEto get back in sync.
SOURCE SYNCHRONIZATION BY TURNING ON THE RADIO PL2
In this synchronization mode the first source selected after pressingu is automatically
synchronizing.
The Radio PL2 synchronizes automatically when turned on.
Check the Installation Guide for option programming activating or de-activating source synchronization.
SOURCE SYNCHRONIZATION, AUTOMATICALLY
With this synchronization mode active any source selection may synchronize the Radio PL2.

SOUND EQUALIZER- BASS & TREBLE
Bass and treble may be set at many preselected levels.
They may also be set individually.
Settings at: Main Menu/System setup/Equalizer/My EQ-Profile setup.

2 ALARMS
The OneRemote Radio PL2 has
2 built in alarms, adjustable in
many combinations. Possibly
attractive with one setting for
workdays and one for
weekends.
Alarm can be selected as a
buzzer or a DAB, FM or Internet Radio station at a reasonable sound level.
Alarm settings are found here: Main Menu/Alarms.
Alarm indications are shown at the bottom of the display.
SLEEP
The OneRemote Radio PL2 can be set to turn off after 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
Press q0repeatedly until the desired time period is displayed. Deleting a set sleep
interval follows the same procedure, until OFF is displayed.

ONLINE EDITING OF PERSONAL LISTS OF INTERNET RADIO STATIONS
Internet stations on one or more Radio PL2 receivers may be edited on www.wifiradio-
frontier.com . Lists are easy to create and an overview of the thousands of available stations is
favorable.
A FREE account may be created and ”Access Code” for each Radio PL2 using the created lists
added.
An Access Code is the Radio PL2 receivers ID or password.
With an account created personal lists, ”bookmarks”, with own favorites may be created. With
lists created or edited all changes are seen immediately on all the Radio PL2s registered to this
particular account.
The Radio PL2’s Access Code is found at Internet Radio, pressDand select Help. Select Get
Access Code.
4 each Radio PL2 receivers registered to the same account. Any change to this account is
immediately seen on all 4 receivers.

OLDER BANG & OLUFSEN REMOTES
All Bang & Olufsen system remotes may be used to control the OneRemote Radio PL2.
Over the years Bang & Olufsen has marketed different models where keys have been added,
removed or namechanged.
The good example is the old P,that was later called Oand finally turned into a small
joystick.
If the remote does not have a Okey, press P in stead.
